**Got it! :)**

Gillim rolled his eyes. "Don't use our gifts? I didn't realize hospitals were a no-fun zone." He pointed at Dylan. "Look at that, folks. Don't tell me you aren't jealous of the magnificent ears I gave him..." Suddenly he blinked, staring at Tanya. "Oh... crap, you're..."

He laughed nervously. "Perhaps we should step out, Sharonda. Get some fresh air."

Lyanna

Lyanna listened without interruption as Tanya explained. After she had finished Lyanna sighed heavily and closed her eyes, taking everything in. When she opened them again Tanya was looking at her anxiously.

All the people here are faeries other than Sadie and me, and Tanya's a several hundred year old missing faerie princess. They all came from another world.

To Lyanna's surprise, she found herself accepting these facts quickly and easily. It all made sense. She smiled weakly. "That explains how you fixed my arm." She said. Tanya nodded. It was obvious that the guy with the rabbit ears hadn't heard this either.

Sharonda

Sharonda heard Gillim laugh nervously. "Perhaps we should step out Sharonda. Get some fresh air." She waved her hand dismissivly.

"No Gillim, I'm sticking around."

"Sharonda." Gillim sounded desperate. She turned to look at him. He was looking at Tanya nervously. Sharonda shook her head again. Gillim strode forward and grabbed her arm tightly. "Sharonda." His tone had changed. He still sounded nervous, but there was a hint of a threat in his voice.

TANYA

"Of course, Gilliam," Tanya smiled. "In fact, I'll step out with you, if you please."

She stepped closer to him and narrowed her eyes. "I don't think Sharonda wants to leave quite yet. Allow me to excort you outside. I'd love to chat with you."

Tanya turned back to Lyanna and Sadie. "I'm sorry our little sleepover took such a drastic turn. Actually, I want to talk to you, Lyanna, about that."

"About what?" Lyanna asked. Tanya bit her lip.

"Well, I refuse to leave you alone with your parents. I can't stand what happened to you. I want you to stay with me...maybe even come to the Lost City with me," Tanya smiled, softly. "I couldn't stand to leave you with your parents."

Gillim froze like a child caught sneaking cookies out of the cookie jar, then forced himself to smile, letting go of Sharonda's arm. "Chat? What about?"

Tanya's smile was steely. "Outside."

Inside, Gillim was panicking a little bit. If she recognized him as the same fairy that had been driven out of Lost City five hundred years ago for his pranks AND realized what he'd been getting up to in this realm, she might have him locked away when they got back. He couldn't stop a small rivulet of sweat from streaming down the side of his face. Fairy prison was NOT a pleasant place.

Ack, I've got to pull myself together! "As you wish." He offered her his arm.

Careful not to touch his skin, the fairy princess took his arm and led the way out the door.

Lyanna

Lyanna gasped. She felt the tears coming back. Away from my parents. No more going into a strange home every three months. It seemed too good to be true. Much too good. "What's the catch?"

Tanya cocked her head, seeming confused. "The catch?"

She smiled. "There's always a catch when something's too good to be true. What do you want? My money, social security number, my identity?"

Tanya looked so confused that Lyanna burst out laughing, tears running down her face at the same time as pain broke out in her ribcage. "I'm kidding."

Tanya looked slightly concerned about the tears, but let it go. She turned to the faerie with gold eyes.

Sharonda

Sharonda felt Gillim release her arm. She watched Tanya drag him out the door. Gillim looked at her pleadingly. She bit her lip. Gillim obviously didn't want to be alone with Tanya. She sighed. I'm going to regret this... She took one last glance around the room, and left, following Gillim and Tanya.

TANYA

She felt Sharonda's presense behind them as Tanya shut the door lightly. "Good, then we are all out here," she nodded. "Well, besides dear Dylan, but I'll have to talk with him later. As of now, we have some issues to discuss."

Giliam seemed to fidget a little. He was nervous around her. She didn't understand why. She wasn't a cruel person. It's not like she would send him away if he displeased her.

"What is it that is so important to you?" Sharonda asked, breaking the slight silence. Tanya looked at her.

"Is it not obvious?" She asked. "You have found the missing princess. Now, this isn't what I wanted to happen. Not at all. I was hiding amongst humans and first Damion found me. I'm guessing that I could have only stayed hidden for so long..."

"But why?" Sharonda questioned. "Why did you want to?"

"Personal reasons," she smiled at the ground. "Maybe later. As of right now, I need to talk to Gilliam. Alone."

Sharonda looked at him and he looked back at her quickly. Tanya sighed.

"Please. We'll be right back. I just need to have a word with him," Tanya shook her head. "It's important. I'm sure Sadie will keep you company."

On fact, Tanya would find a wy to talk to him privately whether Sharonda agreed or not. Gilliam needed to stop messing around with the humans here. She had a feeling that if Lyanna and Sadie weren't under her protection, then they might have been in a little trouble. Then again, Tanya had caused them to be in the middle of it all.

Tanya looked back at Gilliam. She wanted to know how many humans he had affected and why. She wouldn't threaten him...not at all, she knew his history. She just wanted him to stop messing with the humans. Even the cruel and brutal ones.

Sadie

Lyanna was smiling so much I though her face would split or something. And for her, it was all good. She could go to the Lost World with Tanya, escape her parents and live a happy, if somewhat strange, life. And I wouldn't be there.
I had parents who technically loved me, they'd never beaten me, starved me or neglected me. But we'd never connected together. I'd do my thing and they'd do theirs - we hardly ever saw each other really.
But that wasn't a good enough reason to leave, was it?
I sighed, all of this stupid wallowing was getting me nowhere. I'd call my parents and tell them I was staying at Tanya's for the two weeks, send a note into school and leave with the faeries to go to the lost world. I'd decide what to do when my two weeks were up.
Bringing myself back out of my thoughts, I smiled at the rabbit guy and held out my hand.
"I'm Sadie and this is Lyanna, who're you?"
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

Sharonda

Sharonda walked back inside, feeling irritated. Gillim was chatting with Tanya, and she was supposed to be cooped up inside a hospital room with the mortal that she had attempted to hypnotise. Keep me company? She's probably really angry with me. Sharonda, unlike Gillim, feared mortals. She had been told many stories about their cruelty and short tempers. She stopped outside the door, willing herself to open it. After a minute her hand grasped the knob and she walked inside.

Lyanna

Lyanna forced her emotions under again. She needed to be able to think straight. She smiled at the guy with the rabbit ears. "I would shake your hand, but I don't want to move any more. I'm just going to hurt myself."

Dylan

He smiled at the girl in the bed, "It's okay, you're fine," He turned to Sadie. "I'm Dylan." He tossed his bunny ears, "the guy with the problem."

The girls laughed, then Sharonda walked back in and stood over by Daivd on the wall. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm fine."

Sharonda

Sharonda leaned on the wall, not taking her eyes off of Sadie. She realized that her body was unnaturally stiff. She tried to relax, but it didn't work. She just kept watching Sadie.

Lyanna

Lyanna smiled. Then there was a commotion outside. The smile slid off of her face like water. She stiffened visibly. Dylan put a hat on to cover his ears. If she could have moved, she would have. The door open and both of her 'parents' burst in. She breathed in sharply. They didn't look like thet had noticed the other people in the room. Tehy walked straight up to the bed, and her mother grabbed her arm. "We're going home. Right now." Lyanna yelped as she pulled on her arm.

Then Tanya burst into the room.

Gillim fixed his gaze on the floor, looking for all the world like a guilty child. "So? You wanted to talk to me, right? Let's get on with it."

Tanya sized him up, but then an angry looking man and woman stormed into the room they'd just exited. Tanya left Gillim to follow them.

**Wait, I thought Tanya was going to talk to Gillim... I can change it so they didn't talk, I guess, or just skip over the talking part and just insinuate that it happened, but I dunno what WhiteTiger wants to do.**

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that life's going to launch you into something great, so just focus and keep aiming.
