The Lost City

Okay, I'm going to try this again. If this one doesn't work then I'll give up creating storybooks forever!!!

Okay, the lost city is that of a faerie world, the faeries can pass between the worlds of the mortals and immortals. Mortals are not able to go into the faerie world though. The object of the faeries is to find their missing princess. The only faerie that is allowed to bring mortals through to the lost city. More to follow if people like it.

If anyone is interested tell me. If no one is interested then I won't post any more of my idea.

Do we take characters as mortals or faeries? What's the profile?

Okay, since so many people like the idea I guess I'll post more of the idea.

There are mostly going to be faerie people. Though we do need a few mortals for the faerie to interact with when they travel between worlds. The princess' name is Tanya, and I'll be accepting applications for this part, because this character will demand a very dedicated writer.

Name: Marneus (marn-e-us) Or called Marn, Marnie by friends.
Age: what is the general age we're going for? Are they like hundreds of years old or something like seventeen?
Gender: Male
*Appearance: Quite tall and lanky. He has special, blue-as-blue-can-be eyes that are really startling. It kinda reflects his power over water.
*Personality: Marnie is such a grouchie pants! He takes a lot of things seriously and doesn't smile much at all. If he does it's at some quirky, ironic fact which he's found particularly humorous. He is thoughtful, brooding, and just loves storms. They match his personality, dark, threatening, unpredictable, exciting, powerful... yada ya. He's loyal, but likes to stay distant. He's into interesting, unusual conversations. He notices a lot, and can tell a person's personality from little things that they do.
Power (if faerie): Controls water. ^^ rainstorms, floods, can make water appear from dust...
Other: Up for love, and/or a couple of close friends.

Age: Again, hundred of years old or like seventeen?
Gender: Female
*Appearance: Quite small. Eyes: brown.
*Personality: She's the dreamer. The one with her head in the clouds. She doesn't like reality, she loves romance and magic and all things delicate. She adores flowers. White and pink are her favourites. She's always dreaming of her knight or 'true love' and wishes that she will soon be swept off her feet. She hasn't any fire in her. She's a little meek, and quite shy. But she is the one you go to when you just need a hug and buckets of comfort. Sargie will look after you and help you think of the positives in life.
Power: Can make things grow or bloom. Like bringing droopy flowers to life. If developed, this gift also becomes restoring/giving beauty to objects, people...
Other: Up for love go on and/or a friend.

Okay, yes I forgot about pictures and the personality. Thanks for putting them in there. And yes everyone can have up to two characters. The faeries are mainly hundreds of years old, but they retain the appearance of teenagers. Oh, and we do need a villain and their accomplice.

Personality: She is shy, except when around those she feels comfortable with. She takes things very seriously and isn't very good at cracking jokes. She is a sucker for romance, she loves to laugh and smile.
Power: She can influence people's minds around her, she also affects the dreams of mortals.
Weakness: Fire
Other: Up for love, needs one best friend.

Okay, here's some more info. While the faerie are searching for their princess Tanya, the villains are trying to sabotage the missions and trying to take the crown.

And I would like to try to keep the guys and girls balanced. So if you can have a guy and a girl character.

Age: 293, but looks 13.
Gender: female
Power (if faerie): Hypnotism
Personality: She's the little kid of the group. Curious and inquisitive, she often sticks her nose in places that she shouldn't. She doesn't have any friends, and frequently asks the older fairies to play with her. She also tends to abuse her powers, though she doesn't quite know how to use them yet. Using her power drains her energy very quickly.

Weakness: Her own power drains her of energy very quickly. Also, if someone uses telekenesis (sp?) on her there is a 4 in 5 chance that she'll die.

Appearance: Okay, I'm not cool like you guys, and I'm not that good at uploading pictures off of the web, so I'm just going to describe her to you . . . bright red hair. Haha, I knew this would throw a change into things. Her hair is frizzy and uncontrollable, but her face is perfect. If only blonde hair dye could work on her red hair . . . Oh, and she's chubby. A little thick around the middle.

Power (if faerie): Her hair holds her powers. And she actually could dye her hair blonde, if she wanted to lose her powers. Her powers are concealed in every fine strand of scarlet hair. She can do just about anything, but if her hair is shaved off, she is left helpless and vulnerable. Perhaps she has red hair for a reason; her enemies would love to see her go around with red hair and be made fun of by the mortals, and they wouldn't know that her hair held her powers. She has the powers of elevation, super-speed, flight, and wizardry.

Weakness: If her hair's gone, so are her powers.

Other: If you spell her name wrong, she'll kill you.

Age: 16
Power (if faerie): None
Personality: The quiet and shy type, Lyanna has no boilogical parents, and grew up in various foster homes. Her current foster parents aren't very good people, and every day she goes to school with more bruises on her arms.

Weakness: She doesn't stand up for herself, and has very low self esteem.
Other: Lyanna is up for a relationship, but it will be very hard to get her.

Gender:Female

Personality:She's happry and likes helping people. She is very irritable though and doesn't like when things are not taken seriously. She is very friendly and loves making friends. She is always smiling and working, helping others and dancing around. Sometimes she can be very quite and serious and when she is like that she likes being respected. She is very responsible.

Appearance:. she is white with cute blushed cheeks and long curly blonde hair. She is tall and thin with long legs and a thin face with blue eyes.
