War of the Tsurekin

Skylar moved back Tala following her as they did. They stayed in the crouched position if they were needed. Skylar chewed her lower lip thinking.

"We'll do it some day." Tala said looking at her for a second then back at the battle.

"I know, we need to do it soon or we'll be helpless when we really have to fight." She sighed.

Kai, even though that wasn't the most accurate name to call him at this point, began to walk toward the Tsurekin Agent. Orange light began to seep out from the creature's body again, before travelling up its neck to its mouth.

"Kai, look out!" Skylar shouted. But it was too late. The Agent shot its massive fireball at Kai.

Kai lifted his sword in front of his body, holding it perfectly vertical with the blade edge facing outward. When the attack hit it was like it slammed against an invisible wall, exploding on impact. Kai was still standing when the dust settled. The ground in front of him was charred and ruined, but whatever was behind him was completely untouched.

Ty and Shigure showed up beside Skylar. "We helped the people out of the carnival," Shigure said.

Ty looked at Kai and asked, "What's going on?"

"They bounded." Skylar replied. "And are defiantly a force to be reconded with."

"I'm noticing that." Shigure said as Kai moved towards the Agent that backed a stepped and roared in obvious agitation.

"Lets find a better place to watch, we're in the open here and if it's smart it'll come at us hoping Kai won't hurt us before the he does." Skylar replied.

Kai started walking again toward the Agent, then he quickened until he was full-out running. He lifted his large sword over his shoulder. The creature lifted its foot to step on him, but he moved out of the way and swung the sword against the inside of its leg. The blade was so sharp that it easily ripped through the metal. The Tsurekin Agent howled in pain as it went down on one knee.

It began flapping its wings again, sending powerful gusts throughout the area. It began to take off into the air, but Kai intervened before it could gain altitude. He began flapping his own wings, then jumped into the air. He sored up behind the giant creature before slashing his weapon against the back of one of its wings. The Agent howled again, Kai kept attacking until the wing was too damaged to function. The giant Tsurekin tried to fight back, reaching out with its head and trying to catch him with its jaws, but Kai was always just out of reach.

(Hmm... I guess I can post the rest of the fight in the morning. I guess it's kinda hard to think of something to write when your character is a spectator.)

(Just so you know, wyvrens are dragons that have wings for arms, kinda like bats but without the claws.)

The fight went on for a few minutes, with Kai causing much damage to the Tsurekin Agent, while it tried to fight back. Hsi sword caused the majority of the damage, leaving large cuts all over the creature's body.

The Agent's stomach began to glow once again with fiery light. It opened its mouth and shot a large ball of fire, possibly bigger than any other it had created thus far. Kai lifted his sword over his head and, yelling at the top of his lungs, brought it down over the fire. The flames split off in two directions when they hit the sword, like water flowing against a rock in a stream.

Kai reached inside of himself for the fire within and called it forth. His eyes glowed red just before his sword burst into flames with the entire blade engulfed. He glided toward the Tsurekin Agent at his top speed. As he passed by the creature he dragged his sword against the side of its body. The flames from the sword caught onto the Agent's body, quickly spreading up and down the rest of its body. The creature roared in pain as it started thrashing about, trying to put out the fire. But ultimately there was nothing it could do. Before long, the massive metal wyvren fell.

Kai landed in front of the others and said, "Are you all okay?"

"Yeah, are you?" Skylar asked looking at him. He nodded.

"Yes." He replied. Tala moved at Skylar's side looking around.

"We better get, the people are getting their nerves and they're coming back with the police." Tala said motioning towards the crowd near the trees, some were clapping, others gawking. The police had their guns out moving slowly, and hesitantly.

Kai looked at the crowd and cops for a moment. Police cars had already shown up at the scene, and the sound of sirens in the distance indicated more were on their way. Considering a five story monster almost demolished the block, those sirens might belong to SWAT.

"Everyone, get to the cars and get back to the mansion as fast as you can," Kai said.

"What about you?" Ty asked.

"I'll keep the police from following you."

They all nodded and made their way back to the the cars. Skylar said, "Be careful," before following the others.

One of the cops saw them leaving and shouted, "Stop right where you are!" He and two other officers started running after them. Kai lifted one arm toward the men, erecting a wall of fire between the cops and the others.

Another cop pointed his gun at Kai. "Drop your weapon and put your hands in the air! This is your only warning!" Kai ignored him, and as a result the officer fired. Kai lifted his sword in front of his body, shielding himself from the bullet with the side of the blade.

"Hurry up and get out of here!" Kai shouted to the others. "I'll follow you when it's safe!"

Skylar stayed in the back of the group even though she could run the fastest. They climbed in the back of the cars and tore off towards the beach house.

"Stop, I need to get there before they leave the house! I'll run." She said. THey let her out and she took off at full speed with Tala. They got there just as the others were about to leave to come help.

"Whats going on?" Ivy asked.

"Kai stopped it, he is keeping the cops behind. They fused, him and Ryukin." She said as the other drove up. "He told us to come back that he'll be here soon once we're gone."

(You said beach house instead of mansion. I'll post later, I've got work to do right now.)

***Did they already go back to the masion?***

(Skylar and the others did, they're just waiting for Kai now.)

(Nothing, I was just pointing out that in your last post you said they went to the beach house when they were supposed to go back to Ivy's mansion. I thought you made a typo, that's all.)
