Don't hate emos, they are a vital part of the eco-system

There is one thing that everyone has missed. Emo isn't the worst thing out there anymore.
The new stereotypical teen that goes on myspace and posts pictures of their crazy hair (which is usually long with all the colors of the rainbow) and are obsessed with dinosaurs and cupcakes. They are called...Scene!
Now those people are something to talk about. Not emos....they are so last year. haha

I'm not Emo, but I'm Goth. Quit badmouthing Emos! Emos rock! Long live the Black Parade!!!!!!!!!

I hate the cutting, the burning, and "I hate my life" crap. But I like the black. Black is very sophisticated if you use it for the good of fashion.

I'm totally with aestar on this one. Except I like black cos I'm too lazy to co-ordinate colours in my outfits...

I like black because I'm "dark" and "sophisticated" and no-one understands that my emotions are so much more "real" than theirs. And I mean, people only hate emos because they don't understand that emos throw into focus how shallow their lives are. How their conformity is just an effort to cover the fact that they have no depth of feeling or personality.

On a thoroughly related topic, what's the take on sarcasm on this thread? They didn't seem to like it over at the debate group.

i hate people who pretend to be emo and serenitysteel, emo's don't rock, cutting ones self isn't right and it doesn't matter if you like it or not

then there are the people who call goths emos, there is a huge difference guys.
