Schera

i looked while the two ndemon brothers talk of themselves as one of the pwerful demons and asking us our names.

I regretted saying my name and moved back a little while some of the others were saying their names.

"Hey," they called me, "Are you going to tell us you're name?"

I hesistated. There is no way i will tell my name to a couple of demons. I do not trust them.

i shook my head slowly, "Sorry, i can't."

"Why because we're demons?" they remarked quickly. I bit my lip.

"Sorry, i just can't!" i exclaimed before i try to flee before them.

Lanoray-

I raised an eyebrow at them. Of course, I didn't trust them in the slightest, but what could telling my name and power hurt? They looked at me first. Not surprising.

"Lanoray," I told them. "And I, quite obviously," I said, morphing back into myself, "am a shape shifter."

They nodded with acknowledgement and moved down the line. I glanced at Jasmin. She looked as distrustful as I was, and it gave me relief to know that she didn't trust them for an instant. Of course, all of us knew that giving them a chance could do either no damage or a lot, but knowing these two afer just one day, I was leaning towards the latter.

**Soooo, I guess Dakota's going to punch the guy silly soon**

Drake~

Drake stuck his tongue out in disgust at the mention of his classes. Nevertheless, he slipped the sheet out of his pocket and squinted his eyes dramatically. "Well, I've got puh-high-sicks." He was only acting like an idiot, just to joke around. When Bekah shot him a concerned and worried look he laughed loudly, clutching his stomach. "Just kidding. I'm not that big of a dolt. I've got physics, then economics, then French three." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and smiled down at Bekah. "You?"

Jasmin

I extended my hand. "I'm Jasmin...".

I didnt know what to say.

Who knew demons were so intimedating.

"I'm... Uhm... I guess you could say a angel of death...".

I looked down.

I hated admitting my job as I liked to call it.

Both of them smiled. Mackenzie had a... kinda cute smile.... and eyes... but evil altogether.(they are in human form or?)

"So your also one of the bad guys. Like us."

I looked at them. My face hot with anger.

I just wanted to say that I was nothing like them, when a cool hand settled on my shoulder.

"She is nothing like you." Jaspers voice said calmly.

-------

Jasper

The demons turned to look at me.

"And who are you?" Cypher asked.

"Jasper. Shape shifter and Jasmins brother."

Bekah

I blushed as Drake smiled at me. He had the nicest smile.

"Uhm." I stumbled as I tried to recall my schedule, why hadn't I brought it with me like Drake had? "I have literature...economics..and then chemistry." I said at last.

I felt my mouth turn down at the thought of chemistry. Those demon brothers would be in there again. They really didn't help the class be tolerable.

"Hey, we've got a class together." Drake smiled.

I blushed again. Stop it, Bekah. He's just a boy. I had to remind myself. "Yeah, I guess we do."

"Well here's your first class." We stopped outside the literature classroom.

"Thank you for walking with me." I said as I half entered the classroom.

"Any time." He waved and walked away. "See you in economics."

I hurried into class and took my seat, forcing my face to stop burning and my heart to slow down.

Allysa

The two brothers introduced themselves in an awkward manner. It seems as if they don't go socialising a lot. Schera got a cold feet and went off huffily. Lanorah, Jasmin and Jasper were extremely tense and cold. It didn't get better when Mackenzie started ranting up a story about two kittens that no one took interest. They even sounded evil to begin with. Allysa was mustering up courage so that she could break the tension.

"I'm a water nymph. People these days call us fairies. But hey-"

Allysa started to bend and twist water all around the group. They issued from her palm; jets of water rising here and there. It was like a mini fountain going on. She summoned them back and it returned straight to herself. She grinned and said:

"Probably the only cool thing I could come up with."

Mackenzie was a tad astounded with the display but Cypher looked bored. Lanorah, Jasmin and Jasper were complimenting on the trick. The group started into a chatter again, this time, Mackenzie was almost trying to join in. Bekah and Drake walked past Allysa. They were chatting animatedly; Bekah was a tad flustered with the attention she was getting. They passed the group when Allysa noticed her eyes wasn't the only one following them. Cypher looked grim and pursed his lips.

'Could demons feel?' Allysa thought to herself. He turned and their eyes met. He looked down and grunted, almost like he was punishing himself for the momentary distraction. Her memory relapsed again to Damon. He was the cause of her pain; her want of non-emotion. She hated it. She hated the sight of the two of them. It was too bitter for her to take in. Her eyes glistened.

"I.. have to go. I need to find Schera."

Allysa made up a lazy excuse for leaving and trailed all the way indoors. Lanorah, Jasmin and Jasper responded with "Sure" and "Go ahead"'s. Mackenzie attempted to say something but only managed to pronounce "Ba-" Cypher looked darkly at Allysa, to which thoughts Allysa was not certain she'd ever want to find out. Allysa never turned again.

Schera

I sat at the corner of a bench at the side of the school playing with two leaves whom i used as puppets. School is about to start and around me, students are beginning to go inside the classes.

"Hi, Schera, there you are..." Alyssa appeared at the corner greeting me with a wave.

"Oh hi," i stood up straight, "I thought you were with them."

"Nah, i left. They're a bit weird if i could say." she said and i smiled, "Say why did you left so suddenly. By the way you left, you seemed that you've experience this before."

I smiled casually before i told her an information if she could keep it a secret. She nodded.

I told her that i was born from the combination of two souls or spirits. One was a girl while the other was that of an evil fox spirit that haunted my nightmares. Even though the spirit was different from the brothers, it is still scary.

"Then how about the cat ears?" she asked me and i giggled and told her to talk about it another day.

School started usually. first and second class followed easily though the teacher scolded me for sleeping in class. I can't help it. Cats sleep most of the day. I met up with Alyssa soon but before that i caught a glimpse of the two brothers walking pass me. I instantly hide my face by my shawl and hope they won't look at me.

Interval (Recess) was fine and i sat with Alyssa on a bench eating.

Allysa was puzzled but nevertheless dropped the subject for it was time for their classes.

"Bye. Catch you later."

She walked up to the calculus class. The way was easy but confusing at the same time. Allysa had to look back and check for landmarks just to make sure she was in the right corridor. Passing through a dimly lit corridor, Allysa thought she had noticed a shadow moving inside. A rumble came from the dark. She turned right and continued moving faster, trail of water slowly evaporating behind her. She had just reached the other end of the corridor when suddenly the black shadow morphed right in front of her. She stood still; shocked at the sudden appearance of Cypher. He was engrossed with his hands, flexing them again and again as if they were just newly attached to their owner. Cypher grinned pleasantly at his thought and twisted his footing. It was now when he had noticed Allysa standing a couple of feet away from him, the look of shock and confusion apparent on her face.

"What the heck are you looking at?" He growled.

"I was trying to find my way to Calculus. Besides, you emerged out suddenly from the corridor, I should be the one asking you what you were up to." Allysa remarked.

Realising it was foolish to make enemies at the very group they were planning to interfere sooner or later, Cypher changed his intonation.

"Fine. Whatever." He dismissed the conversation and walked to the stairs to the left.

"If you have to know, Calculus is the first class above this floor. It's to your right. And looks like you're already late." He smirked.

Allysa was thoroughly annoyed with Cypher's sudden change of tone and the hint of sarcasm he carried.

"Gee.. Thanks for reminding."

Allysa left off rather hurriedly to the class and to her relief, the teacher had not entered yet. The door closed behind her. Allysa was suprised that it was Cypher again. They glared each other for a moment before taking their seats; on the opposite sides of the classroom.

"What took you so long?" Mackenzie greeted him. The door opened again for the last time. The teacher began the class.

Cypher

"What took you so long?" Mackenzie greeted.
"I was testing a theory." I smiled looking at Alyssia. "Partial transformation. I was wondering what would happen if we only partly changed. The Doom hands catching fire while we still look human is cool."
Yes, it is, murmured Kaos in my head. Now about me needing a body.
"Shut up!" I shouted attracting the attention of Mac. I had forgotten Kaos was still there, running around inside my head.
"Cypher are sure your alright? After the blow ot the head we never went to the nurse."
"I'm fine. Don't worry about it."

*is this still going?*

Mackenzie

Although slightly perplexed by Cypher strange behaviour I tried to focus on something else. But I couldn't. I tried thinking about the group of kids we'd talked to earlier, how great it had felt flying again last night, for god's sake I even tried paying attention to the lesson, but nothing could alleviate the worries gnawing at my mind. The time Cypher had blacked out was one of the few things he had not confided in me and that, above anything else right now, was most worrying. Hopefully it would be something small like he'd discovered a new power only he could use that he felt bad that I didn't also have, but I sensed it wasn't just that.
The lesson passed quicker than I realised it would and we were on our way to the second lesson of the day when Cypher decided to actually show me his latest theory on Partial Transformation.
"This is my plan of attack"

"Hmmm, looks more like a pin to me"

"No, it's definitely a tac"

Allysa

It was during recess when Allysa resigned to her locker; leaving her books inside while picking up her lunch. It was in a bottle actually. And it wasn't really edible.. It was a drink; coconut water to be precise. Allysa went to the cafeteria but her eyes found Mackenzie and Cypher in a deep conversation. Deciding not to interfere, and to avoid the discomfort of today's episode down the corridor, Allysa turned to her left and headed outside to the park. The sun was exceptionally shining; an occasional clouds withered in it's way. Bekah and Drake were seen beside a small lake. He was throwing pebbles whereas Bekah was munching on a biscuit and seemingly enjoyed his company. Allysa sighed and took a detour towards the garden that was sprouting narcissus and hyacinths. It was weird to see such scenery blossoming in front of her.

As soon as she thought of her mother and the other nymphs busying themselves over the forest back home, Allysa felt a pang of wont taking back to her usual wood nymph ways. And that would be preparing the earth for spring, summer, autumn and winter. Spring was always her expertise. But since her transformation had taken place, the only season she was ever good enough to handle was winter. Icy wind wouldn't undo her; she could even create flakes of snow from her hands. Yet it had felt so alien; solemn and sober. It was as if they were waiting for her to reawaken spring. Wilting plants that gravelled leaves and woodland creatures steadying themselves for a good night sleep or even to a new home had always given the impression that winter was isolating her from everything alive on earth.

Allysa looked around and spotted Summer in the midst of a chat with Jasmin as they were strolling the garden. Summer was nonchalantly wawing her hands and stroking the flower bushes. They sprang to life like an infant taking in its first breath. Jasmin marked Allysa's appearance and waved to her. Allysa smiled and gave a thumbs up to Summer as well for a job well done on the garden. Summer laughed. She never liked autumn as well. Especially hyacinths; they were her favourite and she wouldn't part with their blossom unless winter claimed it for itself.

Allysa sauntered to the other path in the menagerie of blooming plants and approached the bench with a red shawl gently reposing in the corner. It stirred. Schera had just woken up from her midday nap and smiled at Allysa. She reached for her backpack beside the bench and took out a paperbag.

"Don't mind if I join?" asked Allysa.

"Not at all." Schera replied; a bit red because she was caught napping on the bench. "I'm not usually this tired-"

"Nevermind that..yesterday was a very tiring day. I had bothered you this morning as well when you had to use your powers to dry the boy. Sorry about that.."

"Nah, it's all good. I brought some tuna sandwich, want some?"

Bekah

Drake and I sat along the shore of a small lake on campus. It was pleasant.

"Check this out!" Drake said as he tossed another stone onto the lake, it, like all the others, stopped after one skip. He frowned and sat down next to me. "Good biscut?" he asked.

I nodded. "Delicious."

He studied it for a moment. "So you must be a vegetarian, huh?"

"Yup."

"Thought so, I haven't seen you eating anything meat related as long as I've known you. Which really isn't very long." he rambled.

I laughed, he just kept going on about the most random things. He must have been nervous. He smiled at me as I laughed and started laughing too.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked, feeling a tad embarrased.

"I like your laugh." he said.

I smiled. "Well thank you very much."

Cypher

"Mac watch carefully this time." I placed my hands on the table and allowed my demonic side to begin to flow before cutting it off. Then i gently nudged the demon toward my hands and was rewarded with a whoosh of flame as just my hands changed into their demon form.
"I just thought it might be useful with our eyes and fangs for scaring off bullies."
"Cypher who's gonna bully us?" Mac asked smiling.
"Fair enough but that doesn't stop it being fun."

Allysa

Allysa declined the offer of having tuna sandwich. She did, however, shared her bottle of coconut water with Schera.

"Thanks." said Schera.

"So, tell me more about your family." Allysa smiled.

"You go first." Schera replied.

"Okay, I'm a wood nymph turned water nymph. I got a mom and I never really knew my father. We, wood nymphs..I mean, nymphs, are based on the matriotic side of the family. No brothers and/or sisters. But yet other nymph always treated me like a kid.. Um.. I like coconuts." Allysa concluded, shaking her half-emptied botttled coconut water.

"Cool."

"Haha, okay, your turn."
