the morning was cold when i walked myself to the school. The traffic was empty and thye street lights were still on. I yawned revealing my cat teeth. My brother drop me off before he went on his way.

"Get that shawl off your head..." he said to me but i replied telling him him that i looked better. He waved off before i walked.

i stretched my arms against my fat sweater on a pavement behind the staircase. Geez, why should he have to wake me up this early. Could he at least get a more later shift for his work.

I nodded my ehad slowly and sleepily before i drop to the ground curled up like a cat and began to sleep. There's still time before school start so i began to take a small nap on an early morning.

The morning dawned an icy breath. The leaves were dewy and Allysa felt fresher than ever. A perennial rain really does wonders to her health. Allysa woke up and walked through the woods, grabbing a bunch of berries from the lowly bushes that were seen dissolving and disappearing from her neck. Mellysa was already up fixing the woods; it was going to be autumn soon. The wood nymphs knew what had to be done. The trees don't wither themselves, a fact unlike what the other creatures have so ignorantly dismissed. They were proud of their ability but never liked outsiders to learn their lore. This included Allysa.

Despite having been a wood nymph once before, she had given up her identity to carry another one. Thousand years have passed since Allysa's transformation had occurred. The younger fairies were unaware of this fact; whereas the elder nymphs chose to respect Mellysa's authority. They felt it pitiful when Allysa decided to that one day, but she knew there was no choice left.

Mellysa waved to her daughter and busied herself with the other nymphs. Even at dawn they were hard at work. The wood nymphs were always like that; unbendable...inflexible..
Allysa disposed her mind of that thought and struggled to cope with a new one. Instead of busying herself of the seasons, she knew she had school to go to. This was not to her liking. Allysa felt a tad bit frustrated that her days will be spent once again behind books and teachers.

"Better get to it then."

Allysa hop into the hole filled with clear water; not a well, rather, a small clear trench of water for the fairies to drink. She spun and swirled in the portal, readying herself again to her next destination. She raised herself from the school fountain. The dawn's eye burst into a million shrapnel through her. Beside, someone sitting by the edge of the fountain was splattered into it. Looking thoroughly surprised, he looked up and coughed even more water out of him.

*continue from there..anyone? The new guy?*

Bekah

Waking up in the dorm was unpleasent. Though having a room all to myself was nice, I missed my apartment.

Mel and I still have to pack up our stuff. I groaned at the thought.

I pulled myself out of bed and got ready for classes. I moved slowly and by the time I was ready I was already five minutes late for class. I ran out into the hallway and straight into someone.

"Drake?" I asked upon noticing who I had just run into.

"Hey." he greeted.

"Why are you outside my dorm? Isn't this a girls floor?" I asked.

"Uhm.." he stumbled. "I got lost." he said at last.

I laughed and shook my head. I knew that couldn't be the answer, it wasn't very hard to get lost in the dorms.

"Well why don't you walk with me to class then?" I suggested.

Allysa

A girl rang in laughter nearby. Allysa turned her head and saw Jasmin and Lanorah. They were pleasantly taking in the oddly enacted scene in front of them.

"I'm...gosh, I'm sorry. I didn't expect someone..well..anyone, for the matter of fact, to be sitting around here at dawn. Again, I'm sorry."

Allysa extended her hand, but the boy was still in shock. He noticed her hands were wet. Well, he didn't take them because he noticed they were water. Jasmin shook her head and extended her hand to the new guy.

"You're in trouble again, eh?Haha!" Lanorah belted our a clear laughter in the midst of a quiet morning. Just as he stepped off from the fountain, Allysa was seen to look quite sheepish again like yesterday. Things never seem to be working out smoothly, don't they? Allysa followed Jasmin and Lanorah to the edge of an embankment.

"Hi..-cough-..I'm-cough- Austin."
"Well, hello Austin. Hope you are up and refreshed and all.." Lanorah began, smiling.
"Don't tease him. Hi, I'm Jasmin and this is Lanorah. That's Allysa." Jasmin began pointing at each of them at the introduction. Another girl joined in; she was covered in a red shawl and wore matching shoes today.

"-yawn- you guys woke me up.." Schera stretched a little.

"Haha, we didn't mean too. As you can see, Mr. Austin over here is fully drenched due to the sudden appearance by none other than our dear Allysa." Lanorah laughed even more, clutching her stomach.

"Yeah..yeah...I get it. Ok, Schera, mind helping a little?" Allysa sheepishly asked.

Schera belted out strings from her palms and began drying the poor guy's clothes without even laying a finger or burning him. He looked pretty astonished though; probably due to the fact a girl had emerged from water and now another one is handling very hot strings from her own hands. In fact, Lanorah looked up just in time to see Austin covered with the fire strings; making him look like puppet whose master was trying to force it to perform odd puppetry tricks. With this in her mind, she fell on the side, laughing even more.

Jasmin helped her up.

The plan had gone perfectly and the principal would never be able to pin it on us as so many creatures had the potential (and motives) to copy our little stunt. The principals house was now located directly atop the school and the words 'GOT YA' were sketched badly in 5 foot high letters on the field.
We marched out avross the courtyard chatting idly as we spotted a new kid with some of the girls from one of our earlier battles.

Lol Lanoray's such a goof XD

Lanoray-

Jasmin helped me off the ground, but I didn't stop laughing. I couldn't. It was so amusing, so entertaining, and I couldn't even figure out why. I stopped eventually, when I found four pairs of eyes watching me like I was some kind of freak. In a sense, they were right. I coughed nervously.

"Sorry..." I said quietly, a little embarrassed.

Jasmin giggled and poked my arm playfully. I swatted at her, my cat-like reflexes catching her hand and pushing it towards the ground. She stuck her tongue out at me. I smiled and winked at her.

"So...what are you, exactly?" Jasmin asked Austin.

"I'm a werewolf," he replied simply. The four of us 'ooed' and 'awed' for a couple seconds.

"How interesting!" I exclaimed. "In all my years of knowing strange creatures, I've never met a werewolf before."

"Oh really?" He asked me.

I nodded. "Is it a painful process?" I asked him.

He looked at me strangely. "Is what a painful process?" He asked.

"Turning into a werewolf," I said. "Is it painful?"

"Oh," he said with realization. "Well no, not really. I've been through it many times before, so...no."

"Ah..." I said, nodding.

We all turned around and began to walk towards the cafeteria for a very early breakfast when we ran into the two demon brothers who had caused so much trouble yesterday. I growled low in my throat and morphed into a lion, stepping in front of my friends, ready to protect them at all costs. Though I growled and snarled threateningly, in truth, I was very scared. I had tried to top these two less than twenty-four hours ago, to no avail. Now I was alone, and up against them.

One of them leaned over to the other. "It's the basilisk," he whispered in his brother's ear. The other nodded.

I sighed, annoyed. "I heard that," I told them.

The one who had said it jumped a little, as though he were surprised that I had heard him, but the other narrowed his eyes at me. I growled.

---

:) Hope this is okay, guys. I guess it doesn't really matter which brother said or did what, so I'll leave it up to you guys ;) Thanks

Mac leaned forward. "It's the basilisk," he whispered. I nodded.

"I heard that," she replied angrily.

Mac shivered uncomfortably and my eyes narrowed on the girl.

"Look, right now we don't want any trouble. I know shocking. Listen, were sick of being on our own. Its nice being just the two of us but we could really use some friends and a break from each other."

The group looked at each other obviously distrustful of what we had just said.

*Please take us in. Its part of a future plan to be very evil via back stabbing*

Dakota~

Dakota groaned and rolled off her bed, Sable chuckling at her from her spot on the bottom of the bed. Dakota pulled herself up and walked over to her dresser, shaking her head like an actual dog. This only made Sable roll in laughter. She sighed and, with a crooked smile, pulled on a pair of regular jeans, a pyramid belt, a band tee, and a black jacket, finishing off her clothes with a pair of black converse. She fixed her hair and grabbed her iPod, hooking Sable's leash up before walking out the door. She jogged down the stairs and went right to her place beside the school fountain that sat in the middle of the courtyard.

Your being anti-social Dakota. Sable sighed, laying down next to Dakota, who had her hood over her head and headphones in her ears.

"Yup," Dakota smiled nonchalantly and pulled her knees up to her chest. In all truth though, she was itching for a fight with anyone. She was so into her music that she didn't realize the people that were speeding towards the school. That is, until one of them ran right into her, making her face and the concrete become quite close.

"Watch were you're going," one of the people snickered. Dakota shot her angered gaze up at him, instantly making him jump back. He was only a freaking cat hybrid. "Holy crap.. you're the girl that put the teacher i-" Before he could finish though, Dakota tackled him from her spot on the ground, fists flying and the black cast on her right hand only making her hits more painful.

Drake~

Drake smiled crookedly over at Bekah. "It'd be an honor," he teased, walking beside her.

"So, how did the whole running thing go?" She asked, smiling at him.

"Well, I know that I never want to do it again. Us dragons are made for flying and strength, not running until we puke our guts out. I could handle the first three hours of weight lifting and all that crap, but I was just dead after the fourth hour of running. How was your day yesterday?" He smiled down at her and stuffed him hands in his pocket.

*Yeah, so Dakota is basically angry for no apparent reason. By the way, the guy she tackled isn't any of you, just a random person. It kind of makes her even angrier that he's a cat hybrid, considering that she isn't exactly a fan of cats*

The girls looked at each other, trying to make out thoughts through their eyes. The sudden appearance and want of mingling with creatures who the demons seem clearly disliked was too coincidental than it was inevitable. This, however, was the least of Allysa's worries. She had remembered the fight yesterday and how the two demons had flown in their direction but was not seen fighting. Plus, there was no telling what exactly were the consequences the students will be facing because of the school ground battle. Will they get detention, or worse, expulsion? Riding her mind of these thoughts, she smiled at the two brothers.

"Okay, but first, tell us more about yourselves?"

*short..I know..maybe next time? XD*

"Oh, just wonderful!" I said, remembering our victory over the buldozers. "So many people came to the rally! We ended up fighting back the buldozers after they showed up early. I didn't know so many people cared."

Drake smiled. "You're a good leader."

I blushed a little. "No, I don't think so. I think everyone just cared about the forest."

Drake laughed at me and shook his head. "You're one of a kind, Bekah."

My face grew redder. "So, what class do you have first today?" I asked, changing the subject.

They'd accepted us too easily...but it could just seem that way because of how cold we were used to being to others. Whatever the reason I still didn't feel comfortable sidling over to these mortals. Even if they weren't as pathetic as the powerless ones we'd encountered outside of the school, they still felt too much; always caring about others. My skin crawled more than my breakfast had as we started to think of things we could safely tell these people.
"Once," Cypher started, "We found these four kittens and their owner was nowhere to be see, right? Then we grabbed two each..."
"Let's not tell that story just now," I interrupted before the group's faces could get any more ashen.
"Ok, how about the fridge incident?"
"Something else?" I suggested. "I'm Mackenzie and this is Cypher," I indicated my brother, "What do you want to know?"
"This is my plan of attack"

"Hmmm, looks more like a pin to me"

"No, it's definitely a tac"

"Well are you two really the children of the devil? It just seems alittle far fetched."
"No, it's true. Thus the giant hands."
"Yeah actually what are those?"
"These," we smiled showing off our giant left and right hands. "Are the Hands of Doom. With them we can open a gateway straight into Hell and end the world on the appointed day. That and it makes us the powerful demons on Earth."
"Oh really then how come you guys got beaten?" Mac growled angrily.
"Our power is different. Not only can we control other demons but we continually get stronger the longer we are in our demon forms and the more damage we take."
"So, kind of like a demon hulk?"
"Yeah i guess. So what about you guys? Names and powers for starters."
