We arrived and only managed to bush two buldozers back before the fight was over. We turned away and flew off, not wanting to join the celebrations of the hippy and her friends. I climbed up a tree, jumped and glided away toward the school followed closely by Mac.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

Jasmin

I turned.

There was this guy patting my shoulder.

"I'm Joe" he said.

"I'm Jasmin." I said friendly. I replied, trying not to look as if I was really annoyed.

"Are you also an kind of Angel?"

"Why..."

"The black wings kinda gave me the hint."

I didn't even notice they were still open. So I closed them and made them disappear, turning back to looking like a normal human.

I nodded.

"Uhu...". I wasn't feeling very social at the moment.

"Hi. I'm Lanoray. This is Tyro and Allysa."

"Nice to meet you." Joe replied.

Bekah

"We did it!" I shouted. Everyone else joined in my cheer. I turned to the group that had now assembled around me. "Thank you all so much, I didn't know so many people cared about the forest."

"No problem." someone said.

I then realised that I hardly knew anyone who was there. I laughed a little. "So I don't actually know a lot of you. I'm Bekah." I introduced myself.

I couldn't help but smile as everyone else introduced themselves. I had found people who were on my side, and we had beat back the buldozers. At least for now.

Tyro grinned and extended his hand. A young angel was trailing him and Summer. He turned to chat with Jasmin, who was morphing her wings back into herself.
Lanorah caught his eye and greeted him.

"Hi. I'm Lanoray. This is Tyro and Allysa."

"Nice to meet you." Joe replied.

Allysa nodded her head at his direction. Bekah was hooting and describing the events that had occured with amazing speed to Jasper. Jasper laughed and added her version in animatedly. Feeling happy with the outcome, Allysa sighed and decided to leave. However, Schera saw her intent and walked towards her. Allysa turned and scooted off to the next corridor, trailing water at a normal rate.

"Wait!" Schera exclaimed. "You fought nicely back there. I didn't know you could teleport."

"Haha, nah, it was a portal actually. I did ok, the others did most of the work. I saw you handling the black dragon using your fire puppetry. I've never witnessed that before. I see now why you wear a shawl." Allysa took a look at Schera's white cat's ears. They popped out like an alert cat, taking in all sorts of sound.

Suddenly conscious of her exposed hair and ears, Schera blanched and started fiddling with her long hair. She attempted to cover her ears with it and tried drawing them like curtains.

"You look nice without the shawl. Don't worry about that. I trail water like I'm a slug all the time." Allysa smiled.

Schera broke out into a laughter. "Can I call you Ally?"

"Sure." Schera joined Allysa. Walking past the second corridor, they continued their chatter about the fight. The halls were busy again and, with the entire school having watched the fight, rose into a frenzy. First and second year students were excited pointing at the heroes of the day.(Hey, that's the dragon lady!) Allysa looked back at the direction of the pointed finger and saw the whole team behind her.

"Thinking of celebrating without us? Tough luck, Ally." Everyone in the team laughhed at Lanorah's comment. "What? Was that a joke?"

"Come on! I got an awesome place to hang out and celebrate. Classes will probably be cancelled anyway.." Bekah spoke. And sure ehough, in the background, the principal was heard calling up the new coach and dismissing the students.

"Probably about to fire him." Jasmin continued. They rose again in laughter, with Bekah in the lead.

Thanks...

Schera

It was an early dismissal, not bad for my first day of school. I found a new shawl and covered my cat ears within them.

We spend the rest of the afternoon on a new cafeteria chatting about our first day and how this first day was not the usual day a person would feel.

There was a lot of us that the waitresses had to combine two tables for us.
I sat by the side of the table drinking y milkshake while i hear the conversation. After this, i'm going home or maybe go out for town but after what had happened, i needed some rest.

"I saw you on the fight," i looked to my side and saw a girl whom i partly recognized.

"Thanks,"

"My name's Lanoray. What's yours?"

"Sche...Schera..."

"Hey schera, how was you're first day..."

"not the unusual one i guess...there's been a lot happening. The fight most of it but after that, i surely wanted to rest and wait for the next day of school." i said as she agreed as we continued to what we were doing.

The sun was already setting and when the lights turn on, i will be back to my home cuddling my pillow but for now i chatted with my newly made friends.

Omg! I haven't posted for Lanoray in FOREVER  Lol

Lanoray-

I smiled at Schera and turned back to the group. They made jokes and reflected on the fight and shared first day stories. Never had I had so many friends. I had plenty of acquaintences last year, and a couple this year, and of course there was Tyro and Jasmin, but I had never really had a circle of friends before. Especially ones that had some of my same interests.

Later that night, when the group broke up, and we were headed back to our dorms, I decided to ask Tyro about that girl again.

"So...you never did tell me who that girl is," I said to him.

"Girl? What girl?" He asked.

I gave him a stern look. "You know very well 'what girl'. That one from your class you were waving at earlier."

He thought about it, then a look of epiphany took over his face. "Oh...her. Well, she is. Her name is Dakota. She hardly talked to me other than that. It doesn't matter."

"Uh-huh," I said, completely doubtful.

Something was telling me that there was more to it, but I didn't question him anymore. Instead, I punched him gently in the side. He laughed and we play-fought until we reached the girls' dorms. We hugged goodbye and he left. I watched him as he walked away. Next to Jasmin, Tyro was my best friend, and I knew that he was a 'rebel', so to speak, but it was frustrating and annoying when he wouldn't talk to me. It was like he thought opening up showed weakness. It didn't. I thought it would show more toughness and strength than being secluded, which he was. While it irritated me to no end, I didn't pester him about it. Ever.

I walked inside and went up to my dorm. I immediately went to bed. All of the day's antics had worn me out completely.

*Wow you guys... Just wow... haha, a whole fight and I missed it! Sorry, I was at my friends apartment helping her move since she got evicted from her last one. We were moving stuff from five till midnight haha. :/*

Drake~

Drake sighed and let out an angered breath, shooting down the track to where the coach was standing. Apparently, after the talk with the principal the coach was enraged and blamed everything on Drake. It was his fault that the hippie girl started everything. At least that's what the coach said. The principal had also talked to Drake about him taking better control of his team and that it was his responsibility as a captain. "Damn." He wheezed, leaning down with his hands on his knees.

"Get your head up!" The coach yelled loudly and Drake put his hands over his head, taking in deep breaths. "C'mon boy! You said you can take it!"

"I can Coach!" Drake shouted.

"What?!"

"I can take it!"

"Good! Run until your legs feel like jello!" With a growl Drake started running again. He really hated his coach sometimes. The best part of it all, was that the stupid giant was being forced to do drills while Drake ran.

Dakota~

Did you see that Tyro dude in action?! He was hounding those workers like crazy! Sable howled from below Dakota, who was laying in a tree, ears twitching every now and then.

"Yeah, I did." She sighed, staring out at the forest from her perch.

What's wrong? Sable suddenly asked, causing Dakota to come out of her daze.

"Huh? Oh, nothing. Come on, we should get to bed." She jumped off her branch and grabbed Sable's leash, starting for the building.

Bekah

I wandered around campus with Joe after the group had dispersed. It was nice to just kind of talk to someone.

"You did a nice job fighting." I told him. "Thanks for your help."

He smiled. "No problem. I could tell you weren't expecting that many people."

I laughed. "I really wasn't, no one had seemed interested when I was handing out fliers."

"You just didn't get to the right people with the fliers then, I guess."

We passed the track and I noticed Drake running laps. He stopped and looked at me and Joe. I smiled and waved at him.

I couldn't quite tell from where I was but he seemed to almost glare at Joe before he turned and sprinted off again.

"I wonder why he's running laps, did he get in trouble?" I asked Joe.

Joe laughed. "He only knocked out the co-captain in a fight in the cafeteria."

"Oh." I said, blushing a little.

"You have a thing for Drake, don't you Bekah?" Joe teased.

I blushed again. "No, he was just nice to me earlier is all."

"Sure."

We eventually passed the field and conversation passed away from Drake and onto other things.

Taziel

His eyes went to the large black wings on her back, and then back to her eyes, "So you're an angel as well, then?"

Veil shook her head, "Nope, just a hybrid. Those're from the part of me that's a condor. I'm guessing you're an angel, though."

Taziel nodded, glad to have found a friendly person to talk to, and one that he didn't already know, as well. He was about to speak again, when they heard what sounded like another fight breaking out, and both shot up into the air. In the distance, they could see bulldozers appraiching the forest, and a number of students attacking them, protecting the trees. Taziel and Veil were about to go to help, but the fight ended almost as soon as it had started.

"Do you want to go and meet those people?" Taziel asked, "Or would you rather just go and grab a coffee somewhere?"

Allysa

The day ended with a happier note despite the fight they had partaken in. The forest were safe and unharmed by any outsider. After the great celebration, everyone returned back to their life after school. Bekah, Jasmin and Jasper decided to walk back together across the south of the town. Schera waved at Allysa and left; a guy, most possibly Schera's brother, driving a SUV. He wasn't afraid of displaying his cat's ears. They were black and he greeted Schera with joy. Tyro and Joe went out to see if Drake had finished his laps. Everything was safe and sound again.

Allysa sighed. She was tired, happy, but nevertheless very tired at the end of the first day. She bade goodbyes to her friends, and when they had left, she turned towards the water fountain right in front of the school. Allysa walked towards it just as she had always done. She put one foot in and was followed by another. The water engulfed her into the depths of its secrets. Her concentration was back towards her home. The Myrrnah fields. A portal appeared in front of her. She gazed at the clouds above, wondering whether it had rained. Allysa stepped out of the pool, a tad bit muddy. Draining herself of the mud for the second time today, she hadn't noticed how absolutely filthy she had looked. Twigs and bunches of dirt floated abysmally in her.
Her mind wandered back to her newly-founded friends. They too were covered with dirt, but at the end of the day, the happiness of teamwork had outshone their state of appearances.

Just like old times..

Allysa remembered her initial eagerness and intention to help protect the forest. It was because she had been a wood nymph before, a long time ago before meeting him..

Allysa was about to reach her third century celebration of existence. Her mother and sisters of the kingdom had started a huge party and celebration. Familiar faces were there; Paolina(the air nymph), Hima(he was the fire nymph), and Getride(the nymph of clairvoyance) were there along with tons of her cousins, friends and family. Things were so peaceful back then. Then he came along..
He was not really a nymph but rather a hybrid of an angel and a nymph. These were the original fairies. His name was Damon.

"Oi, Toadstool!" called out Hima. "Yo...Burn...how doth thou feel today?" he answered.
"Hmm.. Thy art nice, speaking of such ancient language..hehe, anyway, I want you to meet someone. Two of them actually." Hima laughed and brought Damon to the group.

"Here, this is my oldest pal way back from Crater Fiero."
"The name's Damon, girls.. Nice to meet you." Damon extended his hand to shake.
"Getride. Clairvoyancy."
"This is the birthday girl eh? Hi, nice to meet you..um.."
"Allysa. Wood nymph."
"And I'm Paolina. Very nice to meet you." She batted her eyelashes at Damon, unashamedly flirting with him.

This was the start of their friendship and the beginning of her sadness. Allysa was snapped back to reality when her mother, Mellysa, greeted her. The wood nymph priestess of the forest, Mellysa was a figure of beauty and regeneration. Her long tresses were of twines and roots. Her hands were of branches and they bent and graced her regalia, for there were many rings of age on them. Adorning herself with sweet-smelling flowers and a long green robe, Mellysa hugged her only daughter.

"How's my love today? Oh..thou art presentable. What hast happened?"

Speaking in a clear, olden English, Mellysa was concerned with her daughter.

"I'm okay. There, at the studying chamber, had a fight broken. They had tried to uproot trees for a stadium. I could never have stayed and watched."

"Hmm..thou language hast become renewed. Ti's no good speaking that way..but, I applaud for such bravery, for I would never have imagined a beast so cruel so as to destroy the very things that gave them life."

Allysa smiled at her mother's concerned. Wood nymphs are rarely disturbed, but if they do, they can stir up forces of unimaginable strength. However, Allysa was getting increasingly tired.

"Mother, may I take leave? For the day has become old and I grow weary of it."

"Of course thou must. But have thine dinner first."

Veil~

I looked at the fight going on before us. "Lets go get a cup of coffee." I replied with a smile. "If we get into that, then well, probably have to deal with the football team." I noted.

"Yeah I guess your right." he replied as we flew off towards a coffee shop.

"So what's it like being an angel?" I asked with curiosity.

"Well I don't really know how to explain it." he replied honestly. "So what kind of hybrid are you?" he asked with curiosity.

"Well I'm a cross of two hybrids. I'm part condor, the wings." I said while pointing to them. "And part wolf." I finished while gesturing to my ears and tail.

"That's. . .interesting." he noted.

"Well it gets hard when I change full animal, cause I never know which one I'm going to go." I sighed.

Resting my eyes after the 'victory' in the forests earlier, I thought about how no peace ever lasted very long. I also thought of how much suffering we could cause when we destroyed the forests instead. All those people there, all caring for the same cause, it was so easy. I gave out a long, deep sigh and fell asleep.

***********************************************************************************

I was woken up by a rough tug at my shoulder.
"God you're a deep sleeper," I heard my brother sigh. "Come on. We're going for a flight." I blinked my eyes a couple of times before I realised it was the middle of the night.
"Is this really necessary?" I pulled my self round and sat up on my bed, slowly lowering my feet to the floor.
"Yes, come on."
"At night?"
"Yeees. Less people to see us and therefore less people to stop us." I nodded. Annoyingly his logic made sense. "Plus everything seems cooler at night." I could see him grin at me, his pointed teeth looking extremely white thanks to my enhanced night vision. I chuckled at this. Typical Cypher.

I have to admit it did feel good to fly again, and for so long without interruption. I could see Cypher was enjoying it too.
"WoooooHoooooooooo, barrel roooooooll!" he yelled as he spun past me.
"Nothin'," I grinned and did a loop-di-loop without slowing down.
"Oh yeah? Think you're that good, eh?" Cypher laughed as he copied my trick perfectly, adding a barrel roll and positioning himself to finish by crashing full-body into me.
"Yeah OK, calm down Biggles," I growled.
"What the hell?" Cypher said, still laughing. "Biggles?!"
"Come on, let's get on with business," I muttered, rolling my eyes.
"Right." Cypher was immediately straight-faced again. Ready for some pay-back.
"You said you had a plan to get back at the principal, right?" I checked as we soared back towards the main school.
"Don't worry, it's all up here brother," Cypher smiled, tapping the side of his head.
"Let's hope so," I replied.
"Hey." Another laugh from Cypher. "What you trying to say?"
"Nothing... we're here."
"Let the fun begin," Cypher breathed.
"This is my plan of attack"

"Hmmm, looks more like a pin to me"

"No, it's definitely a tac"
