Tarragon College, a school for teenagers developing abilities run by the government to hide them from the press/public. Set in Cornwall in the depth of the country where no one can find them. Most have been taken against their will and have left behind parents, friends, family... ect.

Name: Quin

Age: 15

Appearance: Dark black hair that flops over his forehead, intense grey eyes, tall but skinny. Gentle, smooth face structure and coffee colored skin.

Personality: Good humored but guarded, there is only so much you can get to know about him before he becomes reserved and cold. Fiercely loyal to his close friends (anyone got any suggestions for friends?) and logical. He spends most nights flying the grounds, he doesn't need sleep.

History: Quin has a half brother who also has an ability at Tarragon (someone plzz do him), they were in a car crash when he was 13. His mum was killed but he shifted for the first time and flew out the window instinctivley. He feels like he abandoned her. He and his half brother were brought to Tarragon 2 months later. He doesn't know who or where his dad is.

Name: Aaliyah

Age: 16

Ability: able to control fire

Appearance: longish curly red hair to about halfway down the back. pretty short at 5 " 2. average weight for height. Green eyes.

Personality: really didn't want to be taken by the government. Puts up a wall when people try to get close to her. She doesn't want someone hurting her again. Likes having her ability but wishes she could live like any other teenager.

History: Lived a normal life until her and her family started noticing her unusual ability around puberty. Her family betrayed her to the government so she has difficulty trusting or getting close to people as she doesn't want to be betrayed again.

personality- Hot tempered, reckless and competetive. Bold and defiant, with a definite problem with authority figures. Kade is a born leader, follows his own rules even when it clashes with the rules of society. He's the type to follow the beat of his own drum, and would rather die then follow someone elses lead.

history- His powers developed fairly young, he was able to skate by without getting found out, until he was eleven, and accidentally caused a typhoon that leveled half his home town. Was taken in by the government when a rescue worker caught him messing with lightning.

Name: Ashlyn

Age: 17

Ability: Mind control. Can basically get people to do whatever she wills them. Most of the time

Personality: She's a fun, bubbly girl who just wants to have a good time.

History: She was always a very pesuasive girl, but when her powers evolved the things she could get people to do were just ridiculous.

Age: 17

Gender: male

Ability: Can control molecular structures. Able to control the density of things, making himself harder to knock down, or able to phase through walls. I'll expand more later.

Appearance: He has short spiky black hair, straight up spikes. His eyes are a pale icy blue, that darken as he gets denser, and lighten as less dense. He is about five foot 11, with long arms. He is usually in a kind of pout, trying to be cool.

Personality: A goofy kid. The person that gets a bunch of laughs from falling and tripped, and just from being clumsy. He is very uncoordinated, but when he gets serious, it can be lessened, or increased with it. He tries to act cool, but sometimes just gives up on it. Sadly he goes back to it always, and he would be better off not trying.

History: Will be revealed in story

Other: Up for love. Came to the school by choice.

Name: Aubin

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Ability: Imagination. Anything she thinks of can become real. She uses her minds eye to see other places, and other stuff.

Appearance: She has long silver blonde hair and a tall glowing figure. She's very tall, about 6'3' already. She has pale skin and psychedelic eyes. She's athletic, willowy and rather svelte. She has a pair of huge white eagle wings that are spotted and elegant. She can fly, naturally. She has a strong roman nose and evidence of russian heritage. Her eyes are somewhat the
Asian almond shape and somewhat the Indian curvy shape.

Personality: She's defiant and strong willed. She's not mean, but cynical, and stubborn. She is stealthy and is good at small talk. She's very energetic but she can hide her feelings well and can sometimes be somewhat of a bitch. But overall, she's amiable and smiles a lot. She also laughs a lot, and sees things for what they really are. She's frank to the point of rudeness however, so don't ask her if you look fat unless you want the honest answer.

History: Her mother, Eliza, is legally blind, and on the brink of insane. She has random breakdowns which involve screaming and crying. Aubin tries to hide this from everyone because if they find out, her mother will have to be shipped away to an Insane Asylum. Her father is hardly any better. He is a used car dealer and a heavy alcoholic. He rarely ever comes home, and when he does it's for brief time periods. That leaves Aubin and her little brother, Jon to care for their mother. They do have money, but not a lot of it. A moderate amount. Her mother gets paid by the government for raising two children without a father. (One that's around at least.) So naturally, she's considered the odd one out, given her power. She hopes it will help them all once she gets better at controlling it, and her family and mother most of all, is sort of her weakness, will do anything for them to be safe and well.

age: 17

gender: female

ability: to control metal and mitotic cell regeneration. She also has the ability to go berserk whenever she used her powers to a high level. AT this state, she can pull a large scythe from the ground and can control a number of earth-base materials.

appearance: she has long blonde hair, blue eyes. She is small and has a slim figure. She has fair skin and has a large scar by her right arm.

personality: she is shy and silent. She takes time to trust people and is very curious. SHe acts sometimes like a child and hide her feelings.
Due to her seperation, she has a fear of strangers.


history: she came from bosnia and had escaped the war with the cost of her mother's life. She had dicovered the ability after a near death experience where a bullet had hit her shoulder near her right arm. Her father left to America and had a hard time to find a job and her fatehr worked mostly in different part time jobs.

Name: Mikael Esienstein

Age: 16

Ability: Mikael has the mutant ability to tap into the potential energy contained within an object and transform it into kinetic energy upon touching it. When Mikael thus charges an object and throws it at a target, the object releases this energy explosively on impact.

Mikael czn also manipulate the potency of the energy release and could even exercise a measure of control over time.

Gambit's ability to tap energy also grants him superhuman agility and dexterity, as well as creating a static interference that shields his mind from detection and intrusion by even the most powerful telepaths.

Appearance: Shaggy medium length blonde hair, 6ft 2, peircing deep blue eyes. Grey t-shirt, black jeans and military style boots.

Personality: Outwardly calm and confident. In a fight will go to the absolute limit of what he can take. He won't back down.

History: His powers manifested during puberty. His parents worried for his safety from the government and their own safety from hid explosive accidents sent him to Tarragon.

Is it a maximum of six characters, or is that just the minimum? If the latter is the case, here is my character:

Name: Victor MacKay

Age: 16

Ability: Victor is a "null" - the closer you are to him, the less potent your powers become. He is capable of directing his nullifying ability in different directions, at greater degrees, but he has not yet mastered this particular aspect of his ability - at the moment, attempting to use a power when you're in the same room as him will usually have little or no effect, regardless of Victor's intentions. This nullifying ability also affects some abilities normal in humans - to someone unused to Victor's presence, complex thought is nearly impossible, and his presence can make people feel uncomfortable, especially once they start to subconsciously associate Victor with distractions, failure and all the other things that come as a result of Victor's ability.

Some of the staff of Tarragon have speculated that it might be possible to manipulate Victor's ability in unusual ways. A previous student of Tarragon had the reverse effect of people - she increased the potency of other people's abilities. It is thought that Victor might be capable of doing the same, if he can control his ability.

Appearance: Long-ish brown, unkempt hair, pale skin which only turns when Victor is sunburnt, freckles, blue eyes, shorter than average for his age, but he appears to be lanky as he doesn't eat much. Victor wears plain clothing - he doesn't like to wear famous brands.

Personality: Victor desperately wants to live as normal a life as possible. As such, he wishes to control his ability as best as he possibly can. He is generally a friendly person, but he can become quite emotional - his ability causes people to feel uncomfortable around him, even if its just because they can't think hard. He is willing to "use" his ability for the greater good when it is absolutely necessary, but he tries to avoid conflict.

History: Where ever Victor went, people "went bad". Within his first months in existence, his father left the family, blaming his wife for distracting him from his career. Victor's friends, many of whom could have been extremely successful, failed at school, as they simply could not think when they were around Victor. Soon Victor didn't have any friends, as they all subconsciously considered him to be the cause of their failure. Last year, a government agent approached him, telling him that he had been being watched for several years, and that it had been concluded he was a null. He was given the choice of going to Tarragon, which Victor instantly accepted. Since leaving home to go to Tarragon, Victor's mother has stopped drinking (a problem she had for most of Victor's life) and has begun to set her life back on track.

Name: Peyton

Age: 17

Ability: shapeshifter. She can transform into a maned wolf:



Appearance: In her human form, she has medium length brown hair with a side fringe. She is quite tall, slim, and has emerald eyes that she retains when in her wolf form.

Personality: She is fun loving and up for anything, but only with her closest friends. Around people she doesn't know she is mistrustful, and prefers to stay alone than be with others she doesn't know.

History: When her power first emerged, her first transformation was very slow. It took her three weeks to fully turn into a maned wolf. During those first painful days, her parents rushed her to every doctor in the country trying to find out what was wrong with her when ginger fur sprouted all over her body. It eventually came to them disowning her, a week before she was fully transformed.
She ran from her family and spent one year living as a wolf in the wild, before she took refuge in the college and befriended Quin. He nicknames her 'stilts' due to maned wolves having long legs. He is her only friend in the school, but she loves company and if someone trustworthy comes along, she'll eventually invite them in.
