A for sure! Dude, you gotta tap that **** when you have a chance... Women aren't unlimited like that. Watch Wedding Crashers, and take a good look at the funerals. Tears are the breeding grounds for those extra feelings, you know? I'd rather go down in a blaze of glory than sympathetically die. As the X chromosome continues to shorten, males will be cycled out of existence. I plan to make my mark, thank you very much.
Christmas Eve is not the time to hang out with a 'good friend'. It's called, you will either be dumped by your girlfriend or neglected by your family. Even if this were not the case, I highly doubt you and your good friend will be exchanging terrible times. Talk yes, hang out yes, have a good time yes. To continue even further, if this were more so the case (as sad as it would seem), neither of the aswers are acceptable, even to stay silent. Kissing her?! Yea, that will go over well. Just confuse her with your physical actions like that, I'm sure she will take it like an angel. We all know making out with her is just as good as an answer as asking if her sister is available tomorrow night. Saying nothing is rude. Kinda like, "Sucks for you! Later!" Also, it makes you too passive; no more then a friend she would go to the mall with. Controlling her situation, or telling a girl anything, is just disaster. Never do it. Even if you think it is the right thing. What the hell?! Whisper? Why are just about all these answers sexual? A good friend is a boundry. I just wouldn't be in this situation in fact. Nevermind.
I only posted here because I seemed like a womanizer... I was only kidding. Same with the first paragraph here. See all you ladies around the Winter Holidays! *winks*
I'm getting in on this kinda late, but I have to interject:
A)Snoink- was that the Song of Solomon you were quoting?
B)Mack- If I was your girlfriend and I found out you were running your romantic repertoire past your on-line buddies for screening, I would be FURIOUS. This should be kept between the two of you.
C)I thought the girl in the last example was both girlfriend and good friend... If so, C. If not, why the heck are you showing up on the friend's doorstep instead of the girlfriend's? Don't kiss a girl in any way shape or form if she's already upset unless you've already established that as an act of comfort.
D)As a general rule, the more romantic a statement is, the less I trust it. I'm afraid a man who puts me on a pedestal loves the person he allows himself to see, not the real me. I put much more stock in anything said spontaneously. If it's followed by a blush or look of surprise, it's golden.
1. If you take a deep breath before saying something mushy, she'll know it's been rehearsed. And if it seems to come out of nowhere, it looks even worse.
2.Oh yeah. I hate when "today" is attached to a compliment. "You look great today" makes me feel like I must look like puke the rest of the time. Tell her what she always is, not how she is in the moment. "You are beautiful" rather than "You look beautiful". "You make me happy" not "You just made me smile."
::breathes:: Okay. Caught up.
Just remember to treat a woman as a woman and not as an angel. Give her respect, love, and admiration, but not a halo.
First night out, guy smiles when he sees her, says honey you look wonderful/amazing/beautiful.
Nice, short, not too mind twisitng and direct.
Sometimes shorter sentances may leave a better impact. Girls just want to hear "I love you" "I care about you" not "oh, may the gods from above fall on their knees beacuse of thine beuaty, my beloved!" the reaction would just be something like " ::sigh:: whatEVER!" there is a time and place for loving poetry. Girls would likely more appreciate when you help them with something invite them to dinner, a dinner that YOU made, no matter how misrable it is, would tell her that you DO care about her, without the muchy stuff.
Without sensibility no object would be given to us, without understanding no object would be thought. Thoughts without content are empty, intuitions without concepts are blind.
