April~~~

April's mind slowly resurfaced to find a pale guy choking Peter,

"What in bloody hell.." She whispered. She noticed her bag and threw herself toward it, she reached in and got her wand.

"DENTECKA!" She yelled at Peter and he froze. Thoughts that were not her's echoed through her mind,

Fall back, were loosing, and were to scattered. Come together in a group, put the wounded in the middle and draw back. We should be able to hold them off

It sounded like Ra and she sprinted over to the guy who was now staring confused at the frozen Peter and grabbed his arm.

"Come on blondie!" She bopped his head with a wand and then bopped herself. He first turned into a white mouse and she herself a Hawk. Her legs left the ground and she was soon soaring through the air with a mouse carefully tucked in her talons. She saw a moving group in the air and on the ground, they were moving towards a mountainous region nearby. She saw another hawk that must have been Ra,

"Where are we going?" She cawed

He motioned downward and we both dove towards the rest of the group that was maikng it's way into a secluded mountain range.
The one who smiles the most has something to hide.

Joran

Another hour of flying brought up within sight of the cave my mother and I shared. I cast a glance back at Fyra to make sure she was doing alright before telling Lethero to hang on and doing a quick dive towards the opening in the mountainside.

I alighted quickly and easily, being careful not to upset my rider, before kneeling to allow him to slide off. Fyra appeared beside me in a matter of seconds, and as soon as Lethero was standing in front of me I blew a small breath of fire onto a torch on the wall and changed back into a human.

"This way," I said, taking the torch in my hand and leading the way farther into the cave. "It's not far."

After a few confusing twists and turns in the tunnels we stepped into a large, dimly lit cavern with high ceilings and rocky walls. A few flickering candles, nearly all used up, sat along the walls, casting more shadows than actual light.

Looking around quickly, I spotted the glimmering green scales near the back wall. My mother was watching us with calm blue eyes, a slight smile on her scaled lips. She made no move, her eyes following the other two creatures I had brought with me.

"Alje," Lethero greeted, catching sight of the larger dragon. "Good to see you."

"Lethero," she nodded her head in acknowledgment. "I would say the same to you if the conditions were any different," she said, her eyes shifting to Fyra. "And hello to you too, Fyra. I wasn't expecting to see you here. But I'm glad Jo brought you."

Amistin

I went unnoticed, miraculously, by the other magical creatures as they talked and gathered around one lying on the ground. I tried to edge over to the young Werewolf, but before I could a new evil appeared in the form of a large, black demon with blazing red eyes and sharp horns. It easily towered over me, standing nearly four or five times higher than I was.

The others scattered, immediately taking action. Some went for the demon while others began fighting knights and even zombies that began appearing out of the ground. Others even went charging into the forest, either fleeing or going off to battle something that I couldn't see at the moment.

But the one I had been sent to protect was one of the ones that stayed behind, slicing through the zombies with the Blood Blade. Most others stayed too and began to attack the undead and the knights, and so I turned most of my attention to the raging demon.

Launching into the air, I drew my sword and nimbly flew behind the beast, quickly plunging the blade into the muscular shoulder. A hideous shriek exploded from the demon and it turned quickly, it's arm smacking into my stomach and sending me flying. I landed on my back and slid across the dirt, the breath being knocked from my body.

With a grunt I pushed myself up and looked around. I couldn't see anyone nearby, so I jumped up and took off again, gripping my sword in my hands again just as a thought entered my mind.

Fall back, were loosing, and were to scattered. Come together in a group, put the wounded in the middle and draw back. We should be able to hold them off.

I slipped into the clearing again to see all the other creatures regrouping as the remains of a large fireball flickered out. I flew over and landed beside another Alan and a Phoenix, the two glancing at me questioningly, no doubt wondering who I was. But all our attention was drawn back towards the enemy as they began to advance.
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.

Phew *wipes sweat off of brow* we should take a little breather...

Oh and I am guessing we all think we need to head back to the village where LEthero is since we don't know he is gone yet...

Yea its totally cool Mad_Moo, it worked out great anyways :)

Korah - Necromancer

Korah's shrewd eyes narrowed into slits as he felt the air stir with magic. The beings they were chasing reacted instantly, turning and fleeing as they all formed a tight circle, shields up, whether magical or natural. They all began to move back together, and Korah didn't even have to bother to wave his men forward as they all charged with a yell.

He went to follow when a loud explosion shook the air. Fire shot high into the sky as a searing heat swept across the battle field. Letting out a curse of frustration Korah yanked a staff from his back. Twirling the magical stick he stuck it in the ground and muttered a few words as the red crystal at the end began to glow and a barrier formed around him. It barley made it, but the flames shot by, consuming those around him as their pitiful screams filled the night air. Most of the zombies were destroyed as well, turned to ash by the sweltering heat.

As the fire and smoke faded Korah saw that the group of creatures had fled, and were already moving through the forest toward the mountains beyond. "Fools," he muttered, "there is no where you can run that I will not be able to follow." Turning back he quickly assessed the situation, frowning when he saw that little over half of the knights lay wounded or dead on the ground. He could always someone more zombies, but they were simple creatures who only did well in overwhelming numbers and were useless when it came to tracking.

Cursing in anger he spun around, "Gather yourselves together and head back to Lord Crayas, I will summon you again if I have need."

"What about the creatures?" one of the knights asked.

"Let them run for now, I will find them soon enough," Korah whispered. "Besides I know who they are, or at least who that tribe of werwolves belonged to." He smiled thinly as he recalled the young wolf clad in the armor, in the Blood Paw Armor. He had never seen it before but the stories were endless, "So Lethero, your off spring have arisen to challenge us once again," Korah hissed as he turned and looked up at the night sky, "He won't be as lucky as you, this I promise!"

Turning to the demon he quickly assessed its condition next. The thing had done quite well, it had sustained a few injuries, but nothing fatal. He had spent weeks preparing for this summon, to bring forth a creature of this magnitude was hardly easy. "Well done demon," Korah called, "And I still have further use for you. There is a village not far from here, my spies believe that is the location of where Lethero and the Blood Paw pack is. You will take me there and we will search for the old werewolf and burn the place to the ground!"

The demon merely nodded its head before leaning down and allowing Korah to climb on the giant's back. Turning once more to the soldiers Korah called, "Be prepared for my summons." Then the demon ran forward, each step pounding the ground before it took off into the sky with a roar. Korah wasted no time in casting a spell that would hide them from sight as the demon flew forward. He wasn't sure if the magical creatures were going to go meet up with Lethero or not, but if they were he would beat them there. Witnesses had seen a lot of "unusual" activity around those parts, some even claimed a dragon had been seen only a yesterday. But with the arrival of the magical creatures, and the little information that had been gleaned from Scado had made it clear. Korah would burn the village to the ground, and kill everyone he could find...

****

As the flames leapt into the air Korah grabbed the struggling werewolf and hauled the creature to its feet. Just the touch of Korah's hand made the fur and flesh of the beast began to rot and fall off as it screamed and struggled in his grasp. "I know he is here!" Korah bellowed, "Where is LETHERO!"

But the pitiful creature refused to answer, merely letting out a sorrowful howl before it began to choke on its own blood that bubbled up from within and filled its lungs. With a disgust sigh Korah tossed the creature aside and waved his hand. The demon wasted no time, opening its large mouth a blast of flames shot forth, consuming the little wooden cottage in a matter of seconds. They had killed everyone in the mail village, human or other as Korah had gone on his mad quest for Lethero. He had finally found the cottage he believed to have belonged to the ancient werewolf but the thing had little of use, which meant that the Blood Armor and Blade probably were in possession of the young werewolf.

Turning to a small group of werewolves that remained he demanded, "Who will be next." The all cowered in fear, and though he had been able to get little out of them it seemed they were from the Blood Paw clan. None would talk however, he had already killed over a dozen, and he would kill them all before the night began. Some of the wretched creatures had escaped but it didn't bother him in the least bit. As a large cloud of smoke rose from where the town had been, and the little cottage crackled and began to slowly collapse in from the flame Korah reached down and grabbed a child. The young werewolf let out a pitiful cry as its mother rose up with a snarl. With a flick of his finger and a mere word a silvery light flew from Korah's hand and hit the she wolf. The poor thing could only scream as it fell to the ground, writhing in pain as its stomach slowly split open and its body began to rot away. Turning to the petrified child Korah whispered, "Where is Lethero..."

****

A couple hours later nothing remained. Scattered corpses littered the area, children, men, and woman lay dead. Some of them looked as if the skin had been melted off their bones, while others were so bloated and malformed they looked as if they had been dead for days. It would be a sign to all magical creatures, he was coming for them. As Korah kicked through the ashes and smoldering heaps he turned to the demon and said, "Take me back to Crayas. If the magical creatures were on their way here they should be back soon. And should Lethero ever return he will find the carnage I left behind and know I am coming for him. The old bastard is lucky he wasn't here. I shall tell Crayas that the magical creatures did this, I will turn this whole country against them, no matter what it takes!

*darn, I was so ready to post and get Altu to kick that demon's ass! :P Oh well.*
*Guys, if it helps you can call Altu a griffilisk seeing as he is half of both... lol*

Altu kicked the splintered mess of the broken tree from him. His eyes were glowing an angry red, one of his claws grasped around a banch that had empaled him around the shoulder. sticky crimson blood gushed from the wound, pooling around him and the reamins of the tree. He had been ready to raise up against the demonic creature once more, hurt or not. Everything was silent as the creatures lifted themselves from the destruction around them. Zombie corpses lay everywhere, so deep in some areas that the creatures had to dig their way out from them.
He sagged back into the mess of the tree, breathing slowing and groaning in pain. April and Ra came running at him, yelling his name.
"Altu, are you ok?" they cried.

Traystal

Once the group had reached the mountain range, Traystal decided that he should slip away for a little while. Partially because he wasn't eager to spend all the time in the world around these people who managed to get themselves attacked by demons, wizards and (worst of all) necromancers, and partly because since his death, he'd forgotten quite a few of his manners. Introductions just didn't seem important anymore. Couldn't they be made when he got back?

He shifted into his shadow form bare seconds after landing, shedding the mouse form the witch girl had given in and slipping away into the forest ringing the mountain range. He could travel far and fast like this, but he chose not to, instead staying close to where the others were.

**Just have them stumble upon him, Moonlight. I'd post more, but I'm leaving in half an hour.**

Okay so since we know the Legend stuff now, you want to say that Peace and Ra have known each other for years jok101? How about Peace is one of the few ones who actually know that Ra is a God.

Don't worry Billy. We will keep your characters alive.

And sorry this is so long. There are just so many people and I am trying to include everyone as well as make sure were not stuck at a stand still or anything.

Ra

Ra alighted lightly on the ground, his form shifting and molting as he once again turned into a human. Taking a step forward he nearly stumbled and fell as his brain tried to make the switch from wings to legs. Smiling grimly to himself he saw April land beside him, her form also turning and shimmering as she once again turned into a human. To Ra's surprise her clothes were still there. Interesting, he thought, I should get her to show me how she managed to keep her clothes while she shifts. Looking down on his naked formed he searched the ground and found a little piece of chard clothe which he quickly wrapped around his mid section, doing his best to honor the humans idea of "modesty".

As he tightened the covering her turned and hurried over to where Atlu stood/laid on the ground. The grifilisk was growling and hissing, its eyes bright red as it clawed at the wounds and bleeding slashes along its body. "Calm down Atlu," Ra said, his voice soothing as he hurried over. "You need to calm down so we can help you."

April looked worried as she viewed the wounded animal. He was covered in slashes, None of them looked to be deep wounds beside the one on his shoulder. "Kill," Atlu hissed as his whole body quivered with fury. "Kill them all."

Ra took a step forward and Atlu instinctively lashed out at him. Expecting such a reaction Ra ducked under the blow as he said, "Calm down, NOW!" The last word he said tinged the air, releasing a sort of peace and April cast a weird glance at him, realizing he had used magic with the command. It worked, Atlu let out a heavy sigh as the glow in his eyes faded. "Good," Ra whispered as he reached up and touched one of the wounds, causing a low growl to rumble from the grifilisk.

"There are a lot of wounds," April whispered, "We don't have time to heal them all."

Ra just snorted, "It won't take me more then a second to get the process started." Raising a finger to his mouth he bit the tip of it, breaking the skin as a little drop of blood welled to the surface. Raising the finger he gently blew on it and the drop of blood floated into the air, breaking into millions of tiny drops that shinned like gold as Ra whispered, "Kezul mool de thor." The millions of drops slowly descended over Atlu and at once he paused, shifting as he glanced at the wounds.

Many of the smaller ones began to shrivel and heal, the skin closing at once. "The pain... it's gone."

"Yes," Ra answered with a smile, "But it will take some time for the larger wounds to heal. If we had an hour I could take care of it all but this shall suffice."

"We need to go," April suddenly broke in, "The other's are already moving." Nodding the small group turned and hurried after their friends. They were all soon in the forest, hurrying along at a fast pace. Most didn't speak, they were all focused on getting as far away from their enemies as they could. They continued this pace until the sun was about in the middle of the sky before they all stopped and took a break. Resting and drinking from a nearby stream as they all circled up to talk. Ra noticed a new arrival among them all. His aura was slightly like an Alan, yet strangely tinted and dark at the same time.

"We need to head to my father," Scado said, "We knows what we need to do next."

"We should hurry," Pippa said, "they could still be after us."

"I could go scout and see," Fawkes offered.

"No," Meer said, speaking up.

For a moment half of them glared at him and Rhett muttered, "Why is he hear again?"

"Yes, the human reeks," Atlu growled as he glared at the younger man.

"He is a friend," Scado said, stepping forward, "We wouldn't have been able to escape without him."

"We could have broken you out either way," April intoned.

"Probably," Scado acknowledged with a nod of his head. "But by him moving us out of the village lives were spared, both those in the village and probably some of ours."

"He's right," Ra said, speaking up. "And we do need to hurry but we shouldn't forget the wounded." He glanced over at Peace who lay on the ground. There was still a slash along his side from the demons sword, even though Ra had used his magic. "I started the healing, but demon magic is like poison and it will be a while before Peace, and some of the others are okay."

"And like i was saying," Meer said, "That Necromancer was powerful, no one should go off alone, even if it is to scout."

"Necromancer," Keenan whispered, "Who was he?"

"Not sure," Meer admitted with a frown.

"I can send out scouts," Ra volunteered, "Then we should move, the sooner we get to Lethero the better." The others nodded and quickly broke apart as they began to break down their little camp.

Ra walked away from the group, April following as she asked, "How are you going to send out scouts?"

"My magic is..." he paused, almost wanting to say different then you humans, but instead he said, "Special. I can do things you have never seen. Just watch, it's easier to see rather then to explain." Biting his finger again Ra squeezed out ten little drops of blood that fell to the ground like golden jewels. As the blood landed the earth rose up and ten tiny little dirt birds appeared where the blood had landed. Leaning down Ra blew on the birds and April watched, mouth falling open as the birds skin began to change. The brown dirt faded as color came over them and in a couple of sends ten hopping little sparrows stood on the ground, their chirps filling the air.

"Impossible..." April whispered as she glanced over to Ra, "They are, real?" She reached down and touched one, almost hesitantly.

"They're alive," Ra confirmed. "Now little ones," he said to the birds, "I need you to go and keep an eye out, let us know if anyone approaches us." The birds nodded with slight chirps as they took off into the sky. April just stood there, still confused as Ra looked at her with a understanding smile, "Like I said April, my magic is different then anything you've probably ever seen."

-Lethero-

Lethero sat down in front of Ajle. She stayed still staring at him with her unwavering gaze. "Long time no see, old friend," Lether said.

"Yes, a long time," she replied. "Though you are a bit older than me."

"That is true. Time seems to have aged you little, while it has left as an brittle, old Wolf." He paused for second then started talking about why he was here. "Your son, Joran, has said that a new evil has appeared, worse than the Priest, and that I know how to stop. How will I be able to kill it if I do not know what I am up against?"

"You will be able to kill it because you have the blood of an ancient Werewolf Pack known as the Fleet Foot Pack. Though they do not survive today, you and your family share their blood. The same evil that arises now, risen many years ago. Though it was soon defeated."

"What does having the blood of the Fleet Foot Pack have anything to do with this? I'm sure if we can find the way that they defeated it."

"Do you still have the original Blood Blade?"

"The one I used many years back when fighting the Priest? Yes. My grandson currently has it."

Ajle sighed deeply. "The sword that you possess is only a replica. A mere imitation of the real blade. This is bad."

"Do you know where it is?"

"Sadly, I do not."

Lethero took a deep breath. "So, what is this evil we are fighting? Does it have a name? What does it do?"

"It is called the Pravus*. For what it does, you will soon find out. It's here."

*Evil in Latin*

-Scado-

The magical creatures soon reached the village where Scado's grandfather lived. What they saw was utter and complete destruction. Houses were burning and dead bodies lay in the middle of the roads. "What the hell happened here?" Scado yelled. He ran to the outer most house in the village where his grandfather lived. Nothing was left except the pile of broken masonry and wood.

"Grandpa!" Scado started digging through the pile trying to find hi grandfather.

"Who would do this?" Pippa said, walking up beside him.

"It was a dragon!" a voice yelled from the forest. An old man appeared from behind the tree. His entire body was covered in scratches and burns. "A dragon did this!"

*Now obviously it's not a dragon. This mess was Korah's doing, so now confusions.*

April~~

April stood guffawed at what Ra had just done, the impossibility of it all to happen. She had never heard or read of a wizard (or witch) actually making something come alive. She watched along with Ra the birds fly away with utter precision of any other, normal, bird.

"You seriously need to teach me that one," She answered Ra with a smile, "Where are you from again? I never asked."

"Up..." He tried to motion to the sky but stopped himself, "Up north that's it, Where did that mouse friend go of yours?"

April noticed the change in question but ignored it, "I forgot after seeing Altu like that.." She looked around for the blond guy who was no where in sight.

"BLONDIE!!!!" She yelled into the thick wood.

"I thought you didn't like naming things..." Ra said, eyebrow raised.

"I don't," She replied with a smile and tried to look through the woods, "It was spur of the moment and the guy saved my poor life, I owe him"

"What's that?" Ra asked as a dimly lit figure dissapeared from behind a tree, "Was he human?"

"A good question because I never actually asked,"

~~~~at the village
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." She cringed at the sight of the disheveled bodies. Their faces were unrecognizable.
"Are you okay?" Ra asked, obviously bothered but not like April.
"Oh my god, oh my god," She whispered tears started to blur her vision.
The rest of the group was grim, some didn't even care about the poor human corpses littering the ground. The smell of burnt flesh burned her nose and she tried to stop crying, no matter what creature, it was pure death.
It was a dragon!" A voice called, she didn't bother to look up and the voice repeated itself. The voice came closer.
"It is all your kind's fault!" Another voice, right behind the first one called.
"Why do they have normal people with them?!"
"They are holding them prisoner!"
April wasn't scared because of the voices, the aura of the place stunk with magic gone bad and of course, toasted corpse.
Adam
I carried Peace with ease. Once when Peace had though a smaller but more powerful demon he had been burnt in side because he had drunk the creatures blood it gas killed the demon but still I had had to take him to a vampire healer and it was like lifting a boulder. Now it was east and I only used two hands so Peace would be more comferatable.
"the sun dam it's hot" I whined to Peace.
"yeah I'm afraid us vampires always feel like it's a lot hotter than it is espicially newborns" Peace said smiling.
"is that what you call them great now I feel like a kid who knows none of the rules at the new school" I said Peace let out a dry laugh.
"I'll tell you something Adam one of the reasons I didn't want to turn you was because I thought you would just leave me if I did and I would be alone again it gets very lonly in eternity" Peace said and now it was my turn to laugh.
"Peace you are part my father part my friend part my brother and part my mentor how could I ever leave you" I said and Peace smiled before closing his eyes not that he actually needed sleep but it was kind of a meditation state that stopped the constant buzz around us I would have to get him to treach me it.
"Adam long time what six years" Ra said coming up with April close behind.
"no four but they do drag on it seems oh well nice work with demon can't beleive it didn't die" I said and Ra smiled.
"yeah, you too that neceomancer was a nasty peacie of work." Ra said and I thanked him but then we came into the ashes of the burnt down town Scado started searching and then an old man came out of the wood shouting about dragons.
"okay were did the dragon go" I asked trying to b nice.
"it took Lethro and went with a smaller dragon to the mountains."
Thanks again Lethero.
And Jok, sense my guy here, and your guys, are both vampires, but very different, I was thinking that there are different types of vampires in the world there, and they like to mock each other as well.
Name: Maximilian
Age: 8,000
Gender: male
Race: Vampire (based mostly on Transylvania folklore)
Appearance: He has very pale white skin, with a very slight black under tone. His eye have a blood red iris, surrounded by yellow, and have a hypnotic swirl in the red. His nails are long and pointed. He is very gaunt looking, and boney, his faces skin pulled around his skull. His teeth are yellow with a red stains all over them. His hair his jet black, with white streaks, is very short. He dressed in white mostly, and tries to cover all the skin he can.
Personality: He is the definition of evil. He is serious, with a touch of playfulness, he follows orders, but likes to kid a bit when he takes them. He is cold and heartless, and likes to watch others suffer around him.
Abilities: His eyes are hypnotic, when he looks at you he gains some control, for a short period, but this can be fought off. He is stronger and more agile than humans, but not that much more. His bites turn you to a vampire after a few moments, and he bites on the neck. He is weak against the sun, and garlic, and can only be killed when he is stabbed in the heart with a wooden steak.
History: He will reveal in the story
Other: He has a very slight German accent. He also takes a potion called "Shade skin" that allows him to walk in the sun with out being dying, but is weaker still.
sorry for the double post here
Fawkes~~
When I saw the village tears started to fill my eyes, and then I remembered something.
"Quick get me a bottle," I said and someone handed me one, I let the tears drain into it, then looked over everyone.
"Okay large wounds only here," I said.
"Why?" April asked.
"My tears hold healing power like all of my race, surprised Ra didn't make me cry earlier," I said.
"Oh yes, I forgot about your tears," RA said and I quickly dripped tears into the larger of the wounds, when I was done most were healing faster, so we were able to go forward.
_______________
Also DSF, sense my guy will be a villain, can he and Korah meet up later on?
