She held the syringe in her hand steadily, looking at the boy who was sitting there, looking wearily at her, eyeing the needle in her hand. He shook his head lightly, making his golden blonde hair fall into his face yet his penetrating blue eyes still were easily scene. He looked at her almost maliciously.
"You are definetely not sticking that thing in my arm." The boy spoke, obviously seeming uncomfortable sitting on the doctors chair. He had an almost electric air to him, making him seem uncomfortable.
"You see, I have no choice in the matter." Jesse said lightly, trying her best to edge closer to him without alarming him. She had already been shocked by him before and it wasn't pleasant. "You should think about this before you try scaling the fences again. Your lucky the guards found you when they did."
"Or what? I would be free right now? Not stuck on this stupid island?" He sneered, speaking as if the words were disttastefully. He seemed to be getting more and more tempered. Not good. The setative had to get into him soon before he decided he wasn't going to cooperate, not that he was anyways.
"David, please? It will calm you down. It will make you feel better." Jesse had reached his side and touched him lightly on the corner, bracing herself for the electric shock that could race through her at any moment. She was releaved when none came, and she ambled closer to him with the syringe. His eyes jittered to look at it quickly noticing as if for the first time, that it was nearing closer and closer and it was some foul beast that would tear him to shreads.
"You are making me sound like a child." He spat out the words again, and Jesse squeezed a little harder into his shoulder, her gloved hand making it uncomfortable. She quickly got the needle into his arms and right away he tried to move, but her grip was tightly on him. His second resort was the electic shock. She felt a light tingling course through her. It wasn't enough to kill her. He was just trying to scare her away. But soon the force stopped and she pulled out the syringe and placed it on the small tray beside him. He slouched against the wall, hair hiding his eyes. The sedative was already taking effect.
"See was that so bad?"
Jesse hated giving needles, especially to this kid, the one who just happened to have a nack for electricity.

'Everyone is entitled to be stupid, some just abuse the priviledge.'
Barrick pushed open the door to Med Room 11. He glanced inside.
"You done?" he asked briskly, addressing the pink-colored hair girl inside. Jesse nodded slowly.
"Yeah," she said. Barrick cast a glance at the somber youth slouched against the wall. He shook his head.
"He shouldn't have tried to escape. Mr. Jener should know the consequences by now..."
Barrick ducked out of the room to motion to a couple attendants in the hall. He opened the door wider as they wheeled the stretcher inside. "Bring him to Recovery 5."
Barrick watched as the boy was brought out. He glanced at Jesse. "Did you log this in yet?"
Jesse jumped. "No! Hold on..." She crossed the room and booted up a computer. Barrick moved to watch her entry over her shoulder.
Jener, David - November 3, 2008 - Administered 6 ounces sedative to prevent an escape attempt. Administered by Jesse Berkeley.
Jesse glanced over her shoulder at Barrick. "Right?"
Barrick nodded. Jesse entered the data into the hospital-wide database. She straightened and looked at Barrick.
"Come on," said Barrick. "I need you to help me analyze some blood samples we got yesterday..."
I let a malicious growl escape. I couldn't help it. He made me so mad.
I could see anger flash in his eyes. Dr. Barrick hated me, but the feeling was mutual. I would never let him into my brain. Although he could do nothing to my thoughts - yet - I couldn't stand knowing he probed in there. It was the only place I could be the me before the DNA split.
"Riley, you're not making this any easier for me-"
"Good." I backed up to the corner, crouching almost ready to transform. I needed to keep him talking for one more minute.
"Riley..." He tried to touch my shoulder, a bonding movement. That was all I needed; I was furious. In a matter of three seconds, I had transformed and pinned Dr. Barrick to the ground.
My growls grew louder as the guards threw me off of him and into the cement wall. Jesse came running in a shot me up with the tranquilizer. I was my human-looking form again - weaker, feeble - again.
They put one of those masks you see on serial killers on me and led my jell-o form out into the hall. Right before I passed out, I could faintly hear cheering coming down from the halls.
Okay, that's all I have. It's not as good as Incognito's...but that's the best I can do now.
Writing once a day keeps the voices away, and I've created a blog all about it: Daily Dose. ...and I'm now trying to create a user group based on the idea! Tell me if you're interested!
I watched as the girl across the room was tranquilized. I think they called her Red. She seemed so nice. Most of us were, yet these so called doctors treat us like animals. Aren’t we human too?
I sighed and shook my head. I tended to keep to myself and it showed. The others were cheering for the brave girl, but I sat in the corner. Alone. I felt my long hair fall across my face. From a distance, one might mistake them as feathers.
The nurse was obviously used to being in charge. She was quieting the crowd, looking at all of us trying to see if any more of us were going to attack.
Her eyes met mine and I let my piercing blue eyes gaze at her, putting as much ice in it as I could. I hated all of the doctors here. Jesse seemed smart, a little too smart for my liking. I was going to have to keep me eyes on her.
Jesse played the compassionate role but I didn’t trust it. I had a feeling she didn’t trust me either. She didn’t understand our needs, mine especially. I needed open space and freedom. They can have it, so why can’t we? I could almost feel the wind rushing around me but I knew better. That would never happen.
The best thing for me was to keep a low profile. I wasn’t going to let anyone get to me. No matter how much I wanted to. I was going to form a plan.
I sat crouched in the corner and thought about my latest idea.
My eyes followed the girl named Red's path to the ground as she was tranquilized.
Great, that punctured her skin. I quickly prepared myself to smell blood, making sure I would be able to restrain the urge to attack. God, I hated being bred with a shark.
A crowd of partials around me cheered, while a few others sat in silence. I joined in with the cheering, trying to distract myself. The nurse gave us a disapproving look, eying us scornfully.
I stiffened as the faint scent of blood reached my nose. She's not even bleeding; this shouldn't be so hard. But it was.
A boy standing next to me noticed my reaction. He looked at me oddly and opened his mouth, ready to say something.
Barrick shrugged on his lab coat. He glanced at the long scrape on his arm where Riley's claws had broken skin. Barrick pulled down his sleeve, unconcerned. He walked up behind Jesse, who was attempting to calm down the other Partials.
"Jesse," said Barrick in a low voice. He glanced over to where Riley was lying crumpled against the wall. "Get her while she's tranquilized. She's showing signs of the mood swings... I want her tested before its affects wear off..."
Jesse glanced uncomfortably toward the girl's form. "Are you sure? She seemed so upset..."
Barrick pursed his lips. "Just get her, Jesse. If I'm right, the mood swings only occur when, to put it simply, two brain cells connect. Those cells will disconnect soon, and I want a brain scan before they do, so we can figure out how to stop them..."
Jesse sighed, then walked toward the girl. Jesse lifted her up by the armpit. Riley stumbled upward, the tranquilizer making her almost in a zombie-like state. But Barrick noticed her eyebrows furrowing slightly as she was lifted from the floor. Barrick pursed his lips.
"Hurry," he said to Jesse as she passed him. "That drug is wearing off fast..."
Jesse gave a noncommittal grunt. Barrick gave a sweeping glance at the Partials, then followed her out of the room.
They entered the CAT scan room. Barrick helped Jesse lay the girl on the machine. He crossed the room and started the machine.
"Watch her," Barrick ordered. He watched anxiously as the machine worked its magic. Only about ten minutes later, Barrick was staring at a complete scan of Riley's brain.
"Got it," he breath, looking up at Jesse. "I'd like to try to get a few more, if you think we cou - "
She couldn't help let look a small scream. Automatically another scientist scrambled into the room and saw the awakened Partial who had just hit its head off of the CAT scan and now was ambling out words obviously looking murderous.
"No more tanquilizers now, eh?" She sneared, getting out of the machine. Jesse took a side glance to the fire extinguisher that lay hooked up to the wall. Ambling closer, to draw no attention, she got it off the wall.
Riley was now half transformed, stepping towards Barrack, who didn't even have the decency to step back. He just looked at the beast, probably trying to take mental notes of the transformation. This moment, now seemed necessary. Jesse through the fire extinguisher and hit Riley in the head making her stagger to the ground.
"Get the tranquilzer gun. Quick," Jesse declared to the other scientist who looked slightly bewildered. But it was also at that moment that Pisces leapt into the room and jumped onto Jesse knocking her over, obviously not sensing the angry Partial behind her. Jesse managed to push Pi off of her and took a glance at Riley who was before crumpled on the ground.
She sat there, fully human, scratching the back of her head bewildered. "Minor Concussion." Dr. Barrick said, a small smirk on his face, but as soon as he saw Pi, his expression dropped. "Get that blasted dog out of here! You know full well that that dog isn't supposed to be here."
"Truth be told, I don't know how she got in here." Pisces looked at them cocking her head to the side, a long string of drool falling out of her mouth, her cropped ears perked up.

'Everyone is entitled to be stupid, some just abuse the priviledge.'
"Barrick!" I screamed, but he didn't hear it. I had transformed and was busying myself with destroying the funny machine around me.
"God dang it! Stop her!" The guards were scrambling to get to me and I crouched, waiting for them.
They grabbed my fur and hurled me across the room. I yelped. Before they could grab me again I chop blocked one guard and kicked the other. Not going to mention where...
Dr. Barrick and Jesse blocked the door as I ran up to it. She had the tranquilizer in hand. They edged closer to me. I jumped and sent my paw down on it, getting Jesse in the leg. My back paw got Dr. Barrick in the face.
I was in the hall racing, turning corners this way and that. I finally made it to our hallway. I howled and they stared at me. When they saw the guards they cheered.
I played with the guards. I'd jumped and they'd tackle the one behind me. I was quite funny. The next thing I knew I felt a pinch on my leg.
Jesse.
I turned, and there the needle was. I collapsed growling up a storm.
Dr. Barrick walked up to me. I tried to bit his leg, but he kicked my throat. "Put her in maximum security. I've had enough of these little jail-breaks."

I'm going to draw up a hallway sketch and put it in the discussion. So wait a moment!

We all cheered as Red was tranquilized again and sent off to maximum security.
"what doc,I thought you liked it rough, well that's what your wife told me anyway" I shouted through the bars at him and got a laugh from some of the other partials.
"oh good you manged to use words in an a offensive way gold sticker" Dr Barrick said sarcastically.
"I think your about due for a spinal fluid check am I right, you know it's that one were they stick a needle in your spine and get some fluid the really painful one". He said with a smile and I barred my teeth at him letting out a low growl. I tried to reach him through the bars and he took a step backwards before walking off.
"oh well" I said and sat backdown next to my cell mate Stanley. I rubbed my head as the guard came and to take me away.
"my head hurt" I said as they put the cuffs on me I felt a slight laspe in the pull and quickly pulled the cuffs from his grip and wacked the guard round the face before darting out the cell.
Know what, I'm just going to have him in a plain rubber cell.
David~~
"C'mon," I said lazily to the guard, "Just a little bit. I need to stretch these legs."
"No," Barked the guard, and he pointed a gun into the cell.
"Don't bother," I yawned, "I already got my daily dose."
With that I collapsed onto the floor, wanting a good swim. I was jealous of the shark girl, Camryn. Her cell was a tank of water, and she got to swim all day. I felt like a fish out of water, no water to swim in, no way to channel my electricity, it was torture when your half eel. Needing to stop thinking, I allowed the eel to take full control of my brain.
"C'mon," I hissed, now in half animal mode.
"I sai-" But before the guard finished, I struck my hand out, grabbed him by the neck, and pulled him in.
"Well I said, let me out," I hissed again, then was able to force a little jolt through my drugs. the guard screamed, and before I knew it, I was n longer in control of myself. My thoughts were all gone, all I had to go on was pure instinct. My left hand quickly dodged through the cell again, grabbed a card. Dropping the guard first, I swiped it into the lock through the door. then pushed it open.
I charged down the hall, distantly hearing cheering in my state. I fell to the ground, right before a tranquilizer zoomed over me. Slithering on the ground a few feet first, I made my way to the guard, and jumped onto him. my hands shocking him as much as I could. Soon I was at the door, a few guards at my feet.
The air whipped at my face when I got out of our area. Running felt good, the air better, the sight of water in my grasp the best. I meet the fence, and hurriedly scaled it, and right before I was about to hop the barbed wire, I felt several needles bury into me. feeling light headed, I fell, and Darkness engulfed me.

Most of the partials still cheered for tranquilized victims. I stayed quiet behind the bars of my cell. This place was like a prison and I couldn't imagine what the other partials hoped to accomplish by pissing off the doctors. Soon enough we'd all be tranquilized. I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest. All I really wanted to do was sleep and yet there was so much noise I couldn't possibly find a way to.
I heard the boy, John, in the cell next to mine, smart mouth to the doctor and before I knew it he was being taken away. Of course... I stroked my fingers through my brown and pink hair with little interest. Instead I stared at the clock that was positioned at the end of Recovery hall 5. It was time for role call.
Soon enough the guards began hissing orders,"All guards report to Recovery Hall 5! Urgent role call at hand!" Guards of every shape and size shuffled through the huge white doors that match everything else in this white walled jail.
My door was opened, I was taken by the arm, cuffed, and thrown into the line now forming in the hall. Surrounding us were guards to every side. Of course, at one point there had been much less, the doctors now felt the need for more safety. Scared much? I grinned.
If I can impact one person, just one, with my writing before I die, then I've lived a great life
The sound of cheering partials disturbed my peaceful rest while I was submerged in my tank. I quickly rose to the top, looking for what had happened.
As my eyes looked across the hall, I saw that David was out of his cell. Again. Now, I admit, I'd tried to escape a few times, and those won't be my last, but he'd been attempting at least three times per week.
While others admired his bravery, I thought it was a bit stupid. I was all for escaping, but that guy needed a new plan. He needed strategy. He needed me.
I knew how things worked around here, and from the things I'd seen, so did Red. Perhaps with at least the three of us planning together, we'd make a run for it.
I made a mental note to mention it to him the next chance I got and dove back into the water, letting plans run through my head.
Most of the partials were now lined up in the hall, the doctor examining us all carefully. The blonde headed boy was being dragged back to his cell, three tranquilizer darts still dangling from his back. What a fool...
"Leave him,"Said Dr. Barrick,"I need to check him later."He turned back to the partials. Some growled as he walked by, but were zapped with tazers, by the nearest guard.
If I can impact one person, just one, with my writing before I die, then I've lived a great life
"Hurry up," the guard barked at me. I stood up and streched.
"What's wrong?" I asked, batting my eyes. "Scared I might...hurt you?"
"Just hurry up," he said again. I walked by him, allowing a talon to show, and grinned mischeviously.
We were lined up. The girl next to me had brilliant pink and brown hair.
"What's going on?" I whispered. She looked a little surprised, I normally kept to myself, and shook her head slightly. I immediately understood, but a little too late.
"No talking," the nurse, Jesse, said to me. I allowed my fingers and toes to form into talons. Sharp talons.
"Are you ORDERING me to be quiet?" I asked through gritted teeth. She almost rolled her eyes.
"The rules are still the same Charlotte." I lifted my hand and slashed through her shirt, my talons causing her to bleed. Then, just as some of the others next to me, I was shot with the tranqulizer gun.
