Kate:

I smiled at the boy. He was nice. Nicer than anyone I'd met so far, and he seemed to be here to get away from his parents, too.

That's when the captain announced that we'd be going through some turbulance.

"Keep me company? I mean, if you're not going back to your seat anyway."- He said.
"Sure...nothing interesting ,there."- I fastened my seatbelt. -" So what is it that your father does, anyway, that's so horrible, that you'd rather spend it here?" - I said absent mindedly.I felt the boy stiffen and looked at him curiously.

Chris:

I felt kind of bad about getting in a fight with that Comet dude. I thought I should go apoligize...although I didn't know how he had heard it.I got out of my seat and walked towards him.

"hey, Comet."- He looked up at me anger flaring in his eyes. - " Yeah,I'm sorry, it was non of my bussines, didn't mean to piss you off, no hard feelings ,eh?"

~Comet~

I jerked back in surprise, looking at the guy. Star jabbed me in the ribs. "Yeah, no hard feelings."

She jabbed me again. What?

Apologize, you idiot! You're the one that caused all of that!

Stupid sisters...

"And I'm sorry too, I was just letting my nerves get a hold of me."

Chris:

"No hard feelings the-"
that's when the captain said, we were to return to our seats and fasten our seatbelts because there would be a minor turbulance.I did that, but I noticed the weird girl was still not back. I smiled at the short girl next to me and said "hello".

I hadn't talked to the girl, Kal, sitting beside me since an uncaracteristic hello. Weird, I was already loosening up. Not like me at all. Stupid Canada.

I pretty much stared out the window while the plane took off, and had been ever since.

The pilots voice caqme over the intercom. "Passanger's, this is your captain speaking. We will be encountering some turbulence within the next fifteen to thirty minutes...."

Thats all I had to hear to start to feel anxious.

Turbulence. Now I didn't know much about planes but I did know that turbulence was never good, even mild turbulence.

We're going to crash. I decided.

I glanced at Kal quickly, she didn't seem too worried. I was probably overreacting but I still couldn't shake the normal morbid thoughts from my head.

James

The plane took off sooner than expected, and luckily the flight attendents didn't feel the need to check tickets, since I didn't have one.

No one else really seemed to talk to me and that was fine. I concentrated on what I was going to do to get away from the group once we landed in Canada.

"The clouds look really cool from up here don't they?" Johanne said.

"Uh." I hadn't expected her to actually try to talk to me. "Yeah sure, they're just clouds though."

Luis

He stiffened a little in his seat, "Uh, it's not really that horrible...just kind of macabre."

"Oh?" She said, smiling, "How so?"

"He, uh...he's an undertaker."

"He's a what?!" She seemed shocked. Then again, how many people did you meet on a camping trip whose parents dug graves and put coffins together?

Maybe not the best choice, but still better than the truth. Luis rubbed at the back of his neck a little, "Yeah, he's the sort of creepy one in the family. Even so, I don't know if I'd swap him for my uncle. He owns a bar, but if my dad's creepy, my uncle's just off the rails."

I woke up when i felt a slight turbulence on my seat. I looked around and saw that the other passengers were also a little worried.

"Passenfgers," i hear the captian voice, "There will be aslight turbulnece. Please buckle your seat while we fix this problem."

I am not sure whether to believe him or not but a flight attenbdant came to me and told me that it will be okay.

I bit my lip softly as i breathed in slowly.

When I heard the pilot's voice, I wasn't worried at all.

First of all: If anything bad happened (plane crash, who knows?) Charlotte would have 8 lives left.

Second of all: Turbulence doesn't mean plane crash. It means turbulence.

Third of all: I would finally get off this planet.

Ok, the third "of all" is a little dark but that's who I am. Deal with it.

I introduced myself to the girl who told me to sit by her (crack job...) and she didn't even talk back at all! (major crack job...)

So yeah. I'm stuck on a plane going to Canada so I can work my butt off in the stinkin wilderness with my black cat Charlotte and a bunch of strangers. Oh yeah, did I mention the plane is having some turbulence?

*ok, I'm in a weird mood..*

I looked at him astnished and then I calmed down. That was rude of me.
He said his uncle owned a bar.
" Cool, where is it?"- I asked interested. I've never been in a bar. Don't know why I asked that. I guess it was because the whole turbulance thing was bothering me. In my opinion, when something goes wrong it always goes wrong in the worst possible way.

Chris

Turbulance never bothered me...besides now. I had this strange feeling that something bad would happen. I tried to shake it away, but I couldn't.

The plane shook as it encountered the turbulance.

oh no... I thought.

Crash crash crash kept running through my head.

The pilot said everything would be okay, but i didn't believe him.

But it would make sense if it did. The world was out to get me. Mother nature had not been on my side when I was born. So maybe crashing and dieing wouldn't be so bad. It couldn't take long could it?

James

I stayed relaxed as the plane shook, but Johanne grabbed my arm.

"Sorry." she said and looked away.

"It's cool." I tried to say as cooly as I could. The fact of the matter is: it's awesome when a girl feels the need to grab your arm, no matter the circumstances.

I hope I got Johanne right. If not I can change it.

They hit the turbulence, and the plane seemed to shudder, jolting them all a little in their seats. Luis let out a low whistle, "That felt like a little more than 'minor'." He laughed nervously. "My uncle's bar is in the northern part of town, but I'm not going to tell you the name right now."

"Why not?" Kate asked, her voice shaking a little with the plane. Anyone could see that things were getting pretty bad, but talking was probably better than screaming. What good would that do anyone?

"I've seen some pretty dodgy characters there, and I'm not just going to tell you the name when my uncle'd let in anyone who said they were my friend." He sounded like he was joking, but his knuckles were white from clutching the seat. Is this your work, dad? Is this why you were telling me to have a nice flight?

For once, there was nothing but a worrying silence from his family's end of the connection.

*I'm so so so so so so so sorry! Long weekend*

Lindy-

The plane jerked and I fell out of my seat. Why can't they make seatbelts for hobbits? Is it that freaking hard?

I heard Comet laugh at me and shot him a glare. Dork Face!

I stared at the guy. he had closed his eyes. His knuckles were white from the force he was applying to the seat. he seemed to have spaced out on me. Again. Was this his normal behaviour? The plane shook again, a little more violently.

Things were not okay. This was not a normal turbulance and the last thing anyone would call it would be minor. Luis didn't seem to notice (* I hope I get this right*)
I stared at him.

"I don't think this is just a minor turbulance."I said.

he looked at me. If his expression was any indication, he seemed to be thinking the same thing.

Chris:

The girl next to me fell out of her seat. Lindy, her name was. I thought she was mean, but she was actually kind of nice. I helped her up and heard Comet laughing. She glared at him. My face turned red with anger, this was not a laughing matter.

'Are you okay?'

She nodded.
The word Crash was the only thing I could think of at the moment. It was like it had rooted there and nothing I did would change that.I saw weird images and my inexplainable bruise started burning. Images of a plane falling on an island... I tried to shake them away but nothing worked. The plane shook one more violent time. It was not okay. Lindy clutched her seat and looked horror struck.

I gripped the back of the seat in front of me, holding on as tightly as possible. My fingernails dug into the fabric. This is not good...this is not good at all! Turbulance has never been this bad before, not to my experience!

I strained to hear the voices in the pilot's cabin; it was hard work drowning out the horrified and confused chatter of the passengers, but I finally succeeded. But I heard the last thing I wanted to hear...

"We've lost all power!"

"Engine One is out!"

"We just lost Engine Two!"

"Are we going down?"

A pause. "I'm afraid we are."

there was a reason why I hated landing. Landing gave me a headache so strong ,it felt like a million needles were being stuck in my head, hard. It was natural,it happened to many people, but I hated it. landing was even, and yet the pain was killing. This was falling ,the change of pressure had it's result. My ears and my entire head felt a pain, I had never believed possible. I tried not to scream, it was impossible to think of anything but the pain, though. The fact that my life was coming to an end was not even being registered in my head. there was too much pain. I held it back and then I let out a loud scream, everyone had been panicking, too, so it was bearably noticable. I held my head between my knees with both of my hands. I couldn't hear anything. Anything at all.

Chris:

I heard the words and looked out my window. We were falling at a rapid speed. people were panicked...of course. that was natural. "We're going to die."- I said. I tried to keep my voice even. It shook a little. I hated being emotional. I didn't know what to do with these last minutes of life that I had.

I saw a girl, she was gripping the seat in front of her so hard...like that would save her. like anything could save us now.
