For any one that questions I'm allowing this, becuase all the Zodiacs will be needed soon, and Aquarius and Cancer are dead. We need new members.

"Listen." I said to the man in front of me. "I don't want to hurt you. I don;t want to hurt your wife, or kid of anyone else in here. But we have to take your kid. I'm sorry, So just let us take him and we will leave anyone else be. And if you don't I'll have to hurt you, somewhat. Because if i don't hurt you a bit you die. So just let us through." I knew this would not work but I tried anyway.
The man kept the shotgun pointed ma and I sighed. "Fine." I said and my skin tone changed to a dark purple. I stepped forward and he shot. The bullet hit me and fell dented. then with a swipe i threw the gun away and stuck my claw into the mans right shoulder blade. He crumpled to the floor. "Knock out venom he will be out for a few hours." I explained.
The three of us charged in running up the stairs. We each checked a room but came up empty. Until we were in the last room. It looked like nothing was there but then Hailey looked up sadly.
"hes in there." she said pointing to the closet I had just been in. I walked in to the closet again then kicked the wall several times in different places and the wall gave way. I found a small room, with two kids in it. The cowered. But they were both girls, both the wrong age. Turning back i shook my head then knocked them out as well.
Then i heard Drake call from bellow. He found the kid. I saw the kid tied and over Drakes shoulder. I wanted to hit him so much but couldn't. Fighting the urge i made my way to the helicopter. Our first mission complete, our first domino hit. The first of my guilt came. What a day of firsts.

Ah, 'kay, thanks. Well, here we go. I'm not clear on everything but I can modify my post if its wrong.
Kori Baker - Cancer
Everything hurt; her head, her limbs, her heart ... everything. She didn't know the time of day, or how long she'd been here. She didn't know where she was, or where she came from. She didn't know what she'd been doing before this. But she knew who she was. She knew she had family. She knew ... what did she know?
Kori squinted her eyes against a bright light, shielding them from the sunlight. They were still sensitive, and the reflection actually felt like it burned.
"Awake finally, are you?" A voice said.
Kori jumped. She let her eyes adjust before she focussed in on a man. "I'm Teax." He explained.
"What the heck kind of a name is that ...," Kori trailed off. Her brow furrowed. Oh, wait, she didn't know this man. "Um, where am I? Why are you here?"
"Well, you're part of the zodiac now, basically. I made you the way you are."
"Wait ... what?" Kori wasn't one to sound so nervous, but her voice failed her if her expression hadn't already. What was he talking about? Was she delusional?
"I knew this would be hard...," He heaved a sigh as he sat stiffly down beside her. "You're part of a government experiment. Originally there were twelve Zodiac chosen, each based on an astrological sign. They all got different powers. Recently the zodiac, Cancer, had died, and we needed a new one. You matched up best."
Kori was surprised by the fact she wasn't afraid. She let out her famous drawn-out sigh. "This is going to be quite troublesome," She mumbled mostly to herself. Teax laughed. "That it will be," He said, his back turned. "You can go."
Kori stiffly got up and hobbled out of where she was. A bright room. She walked down a dark tunnel, and found herself outside in the sunlight. not nearly as bad as the room. She began walking aimlessly. Where was her home?

Is that okay? Anyone can jump in and be all: "Need help? You look lost"ish.
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.
For some reason they had let me walk freely. They didn't even send me to training that often. That day i wandered the halls aimlessly, that's when i saw her. She was walking on jello legs out of the intro room. The room all of us here walked out of when we first came. Approaching her as if ready to catch her she looked to me.
"Where am I? And Who are you?" she asked.
"Well I'm Ryan, but the other question might take sometime to answer. C'mon, why don;t we go to the cafeteria, i can get you some food and a seat."
She nodded then followed me to the cafe.

this is Kori. Also so you know Ryan is Ares.

Kori followed the guy, Ryan, into the cafeteria. She hoped he'd be buying if the food wasn't free. It would be very troublesome seeing as she has no money.
As they sat down, Kori let out a sigh, "This is going to be very troublesome, isn't it? With the whole 'zodiac' thing and all."
"You seem oddly at ease with all of this."
"Well, in the wise words of the Beatles 'Let It Be'. And unfortunately I can't do anything to change it if its real." Kori's stomach gurgle. Gosh she was hungry.

Hope that's okay!

Adrianna swallowed as she glanced at the small boy pressed against her side in the helicopter. She hadn't been any older than him, when - She felt for the boy.
Adrianna felt bitter resentment toward Drake. How could he do things like this, and not feel any remorse for it? Adrianna envied him. It would make things so much easier if she didn't have a pesky conscience.
Adrianna glanced away from the boy, and her gaze landed on Hailey. Hailey's last words to her had unnerved Adrianna. No one, no one had ever said something like that to her.
Hailey seemed to notice Adrianna looking at her. She met Adrianna's gaze. Adrianna quickly masked impassiveness. Even as she hid her stare, she knew Hailey has seen Adrianna's openly curious look. Against all of Adrianna's better judgement, Hailey fascinated Adrianna. That, most of all, was what made Adrianna afraid.
The rumbling got me up. "here I'll get some food." I told her. Getting on line I picked two of everything on there and brought it back. "there should be something on here you like."

That's okay. It seems that mostly everyone I've storybook-ed with has gotten Writer's Block. It seems its contagious. Sorry.
Kori - Cancer
"Thanks," Kori said, eyeing a Quaker granola bar. It was the kind covered in chocolate with sprinkles on top. Her favourite. She tried to casually grab it, but she knew she was starving so she must've looked quite suspicious trying to slowly move her hand.
As the food touched her mouth she almost died. It was delicious. "Thanks," Kori mumbled through a mouthful of food. A few sprinkles fell from her mouth. As she swallowed she looked at 'the guy'-- ahem-- Ryan. "I'm sorry. Its so troublesome to act lady-like. My mother always stressed that I'd never talk to a guy if I acted so rude"-- Kori smoothed her coloured bangs from her face-- "I guess she was wrong about that much."
Kori grabbed a granny smith apple and munched on it, less ravenously than last time. "So, what zodiac are you?" Kori always found it troublesome to be talkative, but he'd got her food, so she may as well start some conversation.
"I'm Aries."
"And that one is the ram fish thingy...?"
Ryan chuckled once, "Not quite."

You can continue, Bolt. Hope I gave you something to work with!
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.
Twice the truth had failed her. Oh sure, she could pretend that she'd known it was two girls in that room and not the boy but really? She hadn't. Mike was sitting next to her now, he didn't seem to have noticed anything askew. He didn't seem to have realised just how great an impact this was having on her. Could... could the powers run out? But oh! If only that were what was happening then it would be good, it would be grand. No. It was like she was getting false signals, like something was in discord with her gift. Could it be the rift of the zodiacs? Her own stress?
Something was wrong. Hailey couldn't be a useful asset to the group if her power wasn't even working. Bettina was looking at her with wide, curious eyes. perhaps she had noticed, perceptive as she was. Hailey smiled encouragingly and did her best to look okay. The poor girl! The poor boy too...
Family had never been much of an issue with Hailey. Her parents had quite gladly relinquished her to the system. Money here, a promise there and they never had a daughter. That was equally okay with Hailey. She needed people to thrive with and neutral relations weren't good enough though she did miss her school friends at times.
This would have been an adventure if there weren't so many people suffering. It would have been fun if her power hadn't been so destructive.
Feeling another set of eyes on her, Hailey looked over at Adrianna and met the curious gaze. She was being scrutinised but why? What could the other girl find so interesting in her that it took her a moment too long to replace the searching look for one of complete indifference?
"How are you holding up?" Hailey asked the boy, moving her attention across. He was sitting in a sullen silence, his little form shivering against the bonds and his eyes swollen with tears he refused to cry. A brave little boy.

** Um - sorry for asking this, but did you meant Adrianna when you said Bettina was looking at Hailey? 'Cause I would have thought there would be some mention of Adrianna in that post.... Sorry if I'm assuming too much.
The helicopter slowly settled onto the landing pad at Teax's compound. Adrianna quickly jumped out of the helicopter. Adrianna thought she may be developing some form of claustrophobia. Perhaps it was the recent events... She despised the helicopter. They were too crammed, to crowded, and then there was the insistent beating of the helicopter's blades. It was torture to Adrianna.
Not that the compound was much better. Basically, the outside section of the compound consisted of a large concrete yard with obnoxiously tall walls tipped with coils of barbed wire. Adrianna still felt closed in, trapped. In reality, she was.
Adrianna placed her hands on her hip, took a deep breath, and glanced toward the sky. Shaking herself, Adrianna looked back at the ground. No point in pitying herself. It would only make the task at hand harder.
Drake was moving toward the main building, the seven-year-old in tow. The other Zodiacs followed him reluctantly. Adrianna walked behind them, taking in everything she could about the compound. All hope wasn't lost... There was still a chance to escape, or to reach her parents, or both.
Both, Adrianna snarled to herself. It would be both. Maybe she'd have to do it alone, but she would do it.
Adrianna saw Hailey glance behind her to Adrianna. Their eyes met. Something made Hailey slow down. Setting her jaw grimly, Adrianna marched on. There was something she had to ask.
"Did you mean it?" demanded Adrianna bluntly. Hailey looked startled.
"Mean what?"
Adrianna lost some of her nerve. She hesitated. "What you said on the helicopter. About lying."
Hailey looked at Adrianna. Adrianna returned her gaze coolly. Hailey looked away, and began walking again, more slowly this time. Adrianna matched her pace.
"Yes," she said softly. "I do..."
Adrianna's mind was spinning. That was the wrong answer. She was lying. She had to be lying. No one as rule-abiding as Hailey could say something like that. Hailey must have sensed Adrianna's disbelief. She opened her mouth to say something, but just as she did, the two girls reached the door that led to the room that the Zodiacs had been briefed in. Hailey's mouth closed reluctantly. For that, Adrianna was thankful. The girl was challenging Adrianna's view of the Zodiacs as a whole. Adrianna didn't like it. Not one bit.
I decided to go to my fathers office, and asked him for a favor. I had never relied on him before, but he owed me at least one fatherly gift.
I entered the office and was on his computer. Melony was by his side.
"Want to go for another round, I don't see your girlfriend here to protect you." She was fingering a dagger in her hand.
Leave us, I suspect my son has something to ask of me.
Melony rolled her eyes and left giving me a dirty look.
"What do you want son?" He asked.
"I want you to do two things for me."
"What do you want"
I want you to give Adrianna the location of her parents and let her go, and then I want you to give Sabine her eye sight back."
"Is that all?" He asked
"I wanted to be realistic."
"Adrianna will see her parents soon enough, but I'll see what I can do about the blind girl. May I ask though. Why do you care?"
"Because dad, unlike you, I like people and I won't let you manipulate them much longer."
"I'm just wondering. Blind girl I could understand, but Adrianna couldn't care less about your well being. In fact I'm sure she herself would kill you if it would get her to see her parents."
"Maybe, but I helped bring them in years ago, and I'll be damned if you manipulate them anymore," I said.
