Hi, I'm Alex. I guess I'm analytical, moderately insane and a long-time writer, though I'm very new here. I'm open-minded about anything you can throw at me, and like making friends. I'm relatively new at RPing, though it's easy to catch on to, and I'm pretty shy when not hiding behind my keyboard. XD

Well, I'm Danijela (Dani is fine, or Jelen).

That might be all I have to say about that. Haha I'm a mechanic from Kosovo studying to be an agricultural engineer. And my favorite book store just closed for good. So I've found myself here! There are a lot of really talented writers around, and I love reading what everyone has posted.

Not good that the bookstore closed! But it is good that you've come here. Our site is the best out there, in most members' opinions. We tend towards a policy of 2:1, meaning you review two pieces for each one you post. It isn't required, but it's encouraged.

Chat is free, always. You'll most often find someone there; just check the list on our home page. That said, welcome to YWS and I hope you enjoy your stay.

Hi fellow newbies! I’m Jongosi. I’m looking forward to meeting some awesome folks, reading (and critiquing) some great stories and just having an overall blast. Hit me up if you can point me towards any of the above :D

Hey there, Jong!

Welcome to YWS! I have a feeling you'll fit in well in this crazy crowd!

Exploring is easy! The black bar on top is what guides you around. "Discover Works" will take you to forums where you can read/critique others' works!

PM me if you need any help.

Cheers!

Hello there!
I'm Hopelessnewromantic, new to the site! (although that's probably obvious :s)
By joining this site I was thinking that my interest of writing may be noticed, but also for some one who will criticise- in a nice way to help improve as well.

I just posted my first ever piece of work, its called The short road into nowhere, its in dramatic poetry (I think, its in the poetry forum anyway!) I hope you all enjoy reading it and pm me with suggestions if you'd like to have input towards my next piece :)

I have to say, Slytherin gets no love. It is gratifying to see your avatar, miss. Sorry for the randomness =D
