Welcome to it by the way, I am Apple! What kind of a welcomer am I if I can't even say hello? So you're asking for advice, aye? One thing I can tell you is to review. It is why this site is so big. Yes, the Chat Room is thrilling and the SBs are fun (join them by the way, you won't regret it! ) but the only reason why there are some many people is because they comment on other people's work. It's not hard and you get rewarded with points, you love points don't you? I love points.

My second peice of advice is to have fun. Really YWS is just a place for young writers to come together and have fun; if not that but then to smile. I know you're going to love it here, everyone is so nice and welcoming, you'll be allowed to go anywhere with open arms. If you ever want anyone to talk to or you have any questions don't be afraid to shoot me a pm or write on my wall.

Hey, I'm Starhunter!
I'm new here and... well, I haven't really done any forum things before so I just wanted to say hi! I'm twenty, but I've loved to write since I was six. I've got about ten-ish stories in the works, but I'm TERRIBLE at getting them down on paper or finishing them. (I haven't finished a story since fifth grade!)
So anyway, if anyone has any tips or knows where I can go... thanks.

Starhunter: If you click community at the top and scroll down, there's a section called 'General Discussion' which includes the lounge, the serious discussion forum and the global discussion forum. Basically that's the area where you can talk about anything at all ^^ There's also the clubs section, though those tend to be a bit more specific, like there's fan clubs for TV shows or clubs for people who like to sew.
