Adeline~

"I... I want Lucinda back." I said, sitting down on the ground, pulling at my fishnets.

"So do I." He said.

"I can't do what she did. I don't know anything about running the clan!" I was having a melt down. Jared's hands clasped my shoulders.

"Calm down Addie. It won't be so bad."

"No. I have to find her. I don't care if she is a the dumb Apocalyptica clan. I'm going to get her out." I stood up and ran out of the room. Something I'd always wanted is now the thing I was running away from. I heard Jared running after me and I took of even faster, out of the walls of my new clan to find my sister and convince her to come back.

*sorry I didn't post earlier, I got distracted*

"A...hunter?", Vincent said, making a futile attempt at hiding his concern, "So...what's his name?"

"Armand."

"Armand...that rings a bell," the name did indeed ring a bell, though Vincent couldn't put his finger on where he had heard the name before, "and he's a vampire?"

"Yes."

Vincent whistled a tune while he tried to remember what association, if any, he had with Armand. Suddenly, his eyes widened.

"Lucinda," he said slowly, quietly, "does your father know you've gone missing? Or that you are here?"

"I...I don't think so."

"But there's the possibility?"

"I suppose."

Vincent stood up and dragged Lucinda out of the room, his other hand on his sword.

"Hey!" Lucinda yelped, "What are you doing?"

"If he's going to come looking for you, he's likely to look here. And I don't know enough about this man to be sure that I will be able to defend you. We need to find somewhere safe."

Adeline~

I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around towards Jared.

"No! I don't care if she is an Apocalyptica or not. She's our sister. And I'm not telling Dad where I'm going if he'd kill her." I took off again before he could stop me.
The Apocalyptica clan wasn't that far away if I ran at top speed. I'd be there soon and I'd get this whole mess straightened out.
If I didn't get killed first that is...

Evie smelled human as she prowled the forests close to the Apocalyptica HQ. But she'd been there a million and one times; she knew the forests by heart. There were no humans left anywhere within twenty miles of the clan. As she pondered, she caught a glimpse of a shadow and tackled it.
"Ahhhh!" the shadow shrieked.
Evie was confused. It smelled like a human, but it ran like a vampire. She let up and the thing stood. "What are you?" Evie demanded.
The thing was too surprised not to answer. "Adeline," it said.

Adeline~

I was scared. A member of the Apocalyptica clan was pinning me to the ground. My breathing got heavier.

"What are you?" She demanded.

My eyes widened and I stupidly said my name. The vampire stared at me a moment and then pulled me to my feet, dragging me through the woods.

"Hey. Wait, what are you doing? Let go." She laughed, tugging me harder. Soon, I saw the Apocalyptic castle. She was taking me in?
I thought she would've killed me on the spot. Although she could be taking me in to be killed. I thought to myself. Great, now I would be Apocalyptic food.

Evie dragged the Adeline up to the castle. It was struggling, but it was not strong enough to break free.
"Let me go!" it said.
"No," Evie replied. She would take the thing to Vincent, he would love it, they could have it together...Evie and the Adeline reached the castle and entered. It was different. She could tell that there were unwelcome visitors present. Chi sono questi intrusi? She tossed Adeline aside and sniffed the air. It smelled like...tacos.
"Vincent!" she screeched.

"Vincent!"

The screech came from the entrance. There was no way for Vincent to get Lucinda to safety. No orthodox way, at least.

"Stay here." He said.

Lucinda nodded, not daring to wander off in such a hostile environment. Vincent went to the entrance, where he saw Evie with a human. He tutted.

"Evie...what do you want?"

"I've got a human. Want to play?"

Vincent pulled the human off Evie. Evie was practically frothing. He smelt the human, but she smelled strange.

"This smells like human...but..."

Vincent was convinced she was half-vampire.

"Who cares, it smells like human, it tastes like human, right? Right?!"

"Evie, please excuse me and the human. Don't follow us!"

As he walked to Lucinda he held the trembling girls hand.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Adeline...are you going to...to..."

"Relax. You're too strange to be wasted. You smell like human, but I suspect you to have vampire blood."

"Um...that's right."

"Which leads me to suspect," he opened the door to where Lucinda was standing, "that you know this person?"

Adeline~

"Lucinda!" I squealed happily as I ran to hug her. "You're okay. I'm so happy you're okay." She hugged me back, a bit surprised.

"You have to get out of here. Jared is bringing father and He said he'd kill you. I ran as fast as I could but you know they're both faster than I am. And why are you here anyway?" I asked, looking back at the vampire who had brought me to her.

"I... Addie. I'll explain it later." She said, looking back at the vampire with a look of passion. My eyes widened in surprise.

"You love him!" I exclaimed happily, hugging her again. I heard a chuckle from behind me.

Katie and Zire heard commotion at the front of the castle.

"There's never something going on at the front of the castle..." Zire said, puzzled.

Katie tugged at his hand. "Let's go, then. Vincent may need our help."

They ran down the halls, coming to the entrance in a matter of seconds.

"A...human?" The human hugged Lucinda, and Vincent smiled.

Wow, he must really like the leader of the Unforgiven, Katie thought. She let go of Zire's hand and walked up to Vincent. "My Lord," she said, bowing. "Is everything alright? I shall assist you if needed." I need to make up for what happen from before, she added silently.

"You love him!"

Vincent wasn't sure what to make of that. Neither of them had actually proclaimed their love for each other. But he knew, deep down, that he had feelings for Lucinda. And he was pretty sure that Lucinda felt the same.

Katie approached Vincent, bowing.

"My Lord," she said, "is everything alright? I shall assist you if needed."

Vincent was about to dismiss her, before mentally slapping himself. He had forgotten about Lucinda's father.

"It is likely that a Vampire named Armand, a hunter of our clan, will be here soon." He informed Katie, "It is possible that he will be accompanied by his son, a half-vampire. You are permitted to take whatever measures necessary to remove them-"

"Wait," Lucinda interrupted, "these people are my family. What do you mean by whatever measures necessary?"

Vincent rested his head on his hand.

"Okay, I'll rephrase that. You may only kill them are bring life-threatening harm upon them in defence of another's life. And when there is no other way to stop them. Your primary objective is to imprison them, with as little physical harm done as possible. Understood?"

Katie nodded.

"Spread the word. And keep an eye on Evie! The lives of Armand and his son have priority over hers."

*SIC wont be on for a while so Helene and Leon will be quiet for now but will make a comeback*

Lucinda felt a sudden urge to run up and kiss Vincent but she knew it wouldn't be the right time to do it. He was risking his clans life to save her and that made her feel more part of this clan.

"Lucinda...." Adeline started, "Are you coming home?"

"This is her home" Vincent replied,

Lucinda nodded, "My home is here"

"Bu...but.."Adeline stuttered,

Lucinda placed a single finger on her lips and Adeline closed her mouth.

"I'll be much happier her Addie" Lucinda smiled as she looked over at Vincent. She pulled the necklace she had hanging round her neck, over her head and gave it to Adeline.

"Take good care of The Unforgiven's" She smiled and Adeline nodded.

"Thankyou sister"

Vincent couldn't help feeling upset that Adeline, who he had taken a liking to, would become leader of the Unforgiven. The Unforgiven and Apocalyptica had always been enemies. Perhaps, with its former Unforgiven leader becoming one of the Apocalyptica, the two clans would be at peace with eachother.

"Adeline," he said, "for decades our clans have been...hostile, towards one another. Perhaps this day will ease our tensions."

He held out his hand, which Adeline shook.

"I hope so." Adeline smiled.

Lucinda smiled as Adeline left the castle to return to her clan.

"Vincent..." Lucinda said as she looked over to him,

"Yes" He repiled,

"I do love you, you know" She repiled.
