Starstruck

Journey held onto his hand, "wait..."
Colt stopped to look at her. "What?" he asked softly.
"Out of everything I said last night, I didn't mention how aweful your pancakes are did I?" she asked smiling.
Colt smiled and rolled his eyes. "You did now."
"Yeah, go take a shower, let me cook breakfast."

He sighed and nodded walking into the shower. When he finished taking a shower he went downstairs and just watched her cook.

"Did you mean everything you said last night?" He asked her.

She looked up at him. "I don't even remember what I said last night. How would I remember? All I know is that when I got high in high school I fought with the teachers and got into fights with my friends and everything. Finally I got put into rehab for a month, when I got out I met Marco he was pretty much a pimp had hookers all over him day and night. He thought I was a hooker, and he kept giving me drugs, and I had still wanted drugs. I dropped out of school, spent alot of nights in the hospital from over dose. My parents quit talking to me and what not, then I became Marco's so called girlfriend. I never liked him at all, then I checked myself into rehab again, then finally I got clean, I got a job got to college, and then I ran into you, accidently got pregnant and now I'm here."
"Oh, God, Journey, I-" Colt started Journey held a hand up.
"I don't want sympathy, you wanted to know my secret, there it is." she shurgged."There are no more secrets between us." she shrugged.

"Alright, please don't go back and meet Marco." He said softly.

"I don't plan on it." She replied. He smiled and kissed her softly.


**UGH, all i had**

Journey smiled.
"Good." he said.
"Well I have better reasons not to go back." she pressed her hand agaisnt her stomach.

he decided not to mention that she had that same reason the day before.

"I love you." He said softly. "I always will, even after you told me what happened."

Journey kissed him back, "I love you too." She wondered what would happen, where would they go from there?

***Major Time skip***

Colt smiled down at the little boy in his arms. Journey was fast asleep and he was watching the little baby as he slept. His hand was killing him, but he didn't care.

"How are you doing buddy?" He smiled down at the boy. He was looking up at him with the most adorable eyes.

When Journey opened her eyes, she felt like a truck had run over her, she saw Colt staring down at the little baby. She caught Colt's eye when she blinked. "Hey." he grinned.
"Hi." she said back smiling a little weak. "How is he?" she asked, moving to sit up.
"He's fine, very quiet." Colt said.
Journey sat up. "That was a pain like no other." she said wincing.
"Tell me about it." he showed her his hand, it was bruised and two fingers banadged.
"Sorry."
"The doctor had to pop two fingers back into place, it's ok, it was worth it." he smiled.
"That is was." she grinned.

He carried the little boy over to her and then kissing her forehead.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Sore, tired." She smiled a little.

"Any ideas on a name?" He asked.

Journey shook her head while smiling, "he's your son." she joked.

"How about Trent?" He asked with a smile.

"That works." she smiled at the baby. "Do you like the name trent?" The baby cooed and streched his little hand out towards her. He laid him gently next to her and he grabbed her finger.

"He knows you." She said softly smiling at him.


**Tears**

Journey smiled taking the baby from Colt.
"He knows you." Journey said blinking lazily.
"He better know me, I helped create him." he smiled.
They both laughed. Journey held the small baby in her arms. She was exhausted. "He's finally here."

"All that pain is gone." he smiled softlyt to her.

"Yup, sure nough is." She smiled. "Now, comes the long restless nights and the rest of it." He laughed.

"Let's get through today." She smiled back.

"He's got your cute little nose."

Journey looked at him for a little bit longer. "He's got your eyes."
"Yeah, he does doesn't he?" Colt smiled, looking proud.
"Poor kid." Journey joked.
"Hey!" they laughed together.
