Starstruck

Colt got Jamison out and handed him to Trent who sat down carefully. CHup laid at COlt's feet looking at the baby who was staring up at Trent.

Lillian started to cry and he walked over to pick her up.

"What, did oyu get lonely?" Cotl smiled. Lilly smiled up at him and grabbed his finger. "You don't like being left out." He laughed.

"Ooh, my baby." she said looking up at the little thing curled up in Colt's arms. "Lilly, quiet, you daddy's got you." she cooed.

The babies all instantly went quiet.

Journey looked up at Trent, who was staring at Colt, who was staring at Journey.

"Wow." Trent whispered.

"They love their momma." Colt smiled sittin gin the rocker next to Journey.

"They know momma's voice." Trent beamed.

"Sure do. Chup, sit!" COlt commanded when Chup started to sneak forward to look at Jamison. She instantly laid back down lookin gat him wth the saddest eyes he'd ever seen.

"I feel bad, now." Colt confessed.

Journey looked at him quickly, "what do you mean? "she asked.

"I meant, that the dog is looking at me weirdly, like you did when we first met."

"That was dizziness, you ran into me." she said.

He grinned. "I haven't forgot."

"BUt still, she's got that. Please let me get away with this look on her face." He replied.

"Chup, come here." Journey called. The dog ran over to her imediatly sitting at her feet. "Lay down, and stay!"

"Why'd you do that mommy?"

"Cause then she won't be tempted to move closer to you cause she can't see you." Journey replied.

"Oh. ok."

Journey sighed, the babies were miracles all of them, she was happy to be awake. She was lucky to be with her family, all six of them together, it might be hard to support but she knew she and Colt could do it, and they would.
