*Alright these last few posts are confusing so I'll straighten them out for you, first Polemist showed up and went psycho on the dark elf, THEN Ilios pulled the body heat from the hunters, they collapsed, and were teleported back to their base by some charm their wearing. After that Ilios blacked and turned human again. Skye is taking him to a Wizard who works for the resistance, let's say she lives in a house a little out of town.

Everyone can meet up their if they want.*

Qiti:

He looked at the monster before him, it was laughing. The air was poluted by the magic it was letting out, the magic had a weird taste to it... Maddness?

Qiti saw a harpy flying over them, the harpy asked them to follow, and they did.
*************************************************************************

Polemist:

He looked as the others fled.. fast, the weird dragon like monster looked at him. The elf was on the ground breathiing heavily.

Polemist turned to the dragon like moster "What is your name?" he asked

"Quezicotal." The creature answered

"hello, I'm Polemist... I am your doom." He pointed at Quez. The air suddenly was filled whit maddness, Polemist was getting out of control. HE was, going too far.

Quez summoned the wind and blew it at Polemist, sending Polemist flying meters awy from Quez.

"So, you have some tricks, now do you?" He looked up "Well, so do I." He lnked foward His skeletal warrior mode was fast, and deadly but couyld it match the power of the wind?

He came at Quez who yet aggain summoned the wind, he made the wind in small sharp sword like things before he shot them at polemist.

Polemist dropped down, many cuts accros his body, bleeding all over.

He circled the monster, coming closer in a cirlce till at one point. He took some of his own blood and threw it at Quez.

"I am not going into your tricks, Polemist." Quez said and jumped bacwards.

"But You just did." Polemist laughed, Quez looked beneath himself, as Polemist set the fire on his blood, the spiral that polemist had done while walking around Quez was bloody... And Quez was just on it.

Polemist laughed like a mad man, Quez growled with pain, but soon came at Polemist with anger in it's eyes, ready to kill, just as Polemist was about to deffend a pair of claws grapped him.
****************************************

QITI:

He had grapped the creature, who was now chanting curses under him.
He flew to the hut where the harpy had gone.

Okay... ummm... *sigh*... Lord Anzius I don’t want to be picky but... Quez was flying up in the air fighting Qiti and was no where near Polemist. Plus he disappeared with the other Hunter’s, so no offense but lets just discount your last post.

Basically Stranger, Quez, Selini, and what’s left of Nhara all vanished and went back to the safe house. Lephi is extremely wounded and in need of medical care or she will die. Hikaru is pretty much fine, and Qiti/Glacier are probably okay if not slightly wounded. I can’t post now but will endeavor to do so later.

*squee! Thanks Billy! :D*

[Fayne Premonelle]

The glinting blade hardened a little more in her hand, the water inside dropping in temperature. Fayne stepped back a bit from the boy in front of her, glancing briefly at the two hunters laying unconscious on the ground. She eyed him suspiciously, keeping her face as blank as possible.

"A-amateurs?" A small, sort of ping, went through her as she said the word. It was rare of her to stutter and she had only done it about twice before. Fayne gathered herself back together then said, "And you are?"

"Asdal,"

The long scythe slipped out of her fingers and dropped to the ground, her attention elsewhere besides the weapon. It shattered into a million pieces of ice, twinkling in the suns' light. Gradually, the pieces melted and were tiny drops of water scattered around them. Fayne twisted her fingers around slightly and the droplets floated up and around her finger until a ring had formed.

It took her a moment to realize he was still standing there, waiting for something she supposed. There was something about him, what he did. How the taser passed through him and the other man went completely limp for no reason...

"Fayne," she breathed out, her hand tentatively reached out.

Asdal:

He smiled and shook her hand, "Nice to meet you, Fayne."

He caught her looking past him at the hunters, seeing them vanish a moment later, sent back to their base by one of their charms. He looked back at her, "Don't worry, I didn't kill them." He looked as though he was about to say something else, when a harpy flew over them, struggling to stay aloft with a human in her arms.

She looked down at them and seemed to sense the lingering magic, "We're falling back to Kara Glen's home. You know where that is?"

Asdal nodded, he'd visited the wizard once or twice a few years before. He glanced over at Fayne, "Follow me."

[Fayne Premonelle]

The boy, Asdal, walked a few paces ahead, Fayne still standing exactly in the same spot. Asdal turned around slightly, a look of confusion passing over him for a moment. There was a silence between the two before Fayne finally turned her head.

"Did you just say... follow me?" she asked casually. "I don't even know who you are let alone who this Kara Glen is."

Asdal paused, then smiled, shrugging as he said, "Fine, if you don't want to come."

"I didn't say that,"

"You just said--"

"I didn't say I didn't want to come though."

Asdal turned all the way around so they'd be facing face to, well, the side of her's. "Then why did you say all that?"

Fayne swiveled and stepped forward until she was only have a foot away from him. "Because I wanted to know something," she started out, grinning slyly. "You just now met me a few seconds ago, why do you want me to follow you?"

Glacier (Blaine Sharde)

Glacier looked at his fallen ally; Lephi was lying on the ground, mortally wounded. He grimaced, he had practiced that clay orb forever - only to be foiled by the goddamned elf!

He ran towards Lephi slightly limping; injured by the four-corners-world-wind. Hikaru was trying to help her, but was failing. Using of what little strength he had left he knelt down to her and sprinkled some seeds into her wound. He had picked these medicinal seeds just before he had found Qiti.

Closing his eyes he focused on the wound and imagined the little plants growing and knitting up the wound. She screamed in pain, fixing wounds with growing plants was never soothing.

Tears fell from Glacier's eyes, he hated causing pain. Lephi fainted the pain was unbearable and Glacier continued eyes shut, glad that she wouldn't consciously feel the pain . . . yet.

He opened his eyes with a grim apprehensive look at the work he had done. The medicinal seeds had grown into thin vines with astounding strength and had held her wounds together.

Glacier collapsed to the ground, "That is all I can do currently I'm too tired."

He was glad that the enemy had retreated, but sad they had been able too.

He looked to Hikaru, "I couldn't heal the wound it's above my current level of skill, are you able to?"

He waited hoping, praying for an affirmative answer. He wouldn't lose someone he had grown close too . . . again.

He clenched his head with a his hands and stared at the ground. Please say yes!

He swallowed some medicinal herbs he had picked in the forest, these calmed the mind, but only minutely.

Asdal:

He folded his arms, returning her grin with a half-smile of his own, "Well, as I said, I'm Asdal, which answers your first question well enough. Second, Kara Glen is a wizard, so her house is safer from the hunters than this place is."

"You're avoiding my question."

"Yes." He said, matter-of-factly, "I have my own reasons for wanting you to follow me."

"And they are?"

He shrugged, apparently unsure, "Well, as you said, we only met seconds ago, why should I tell you my reasons?" Jeez, He thought, You're over a hundred years old and you're still acting like a teenager. Grow up, already! His train of thought stopped, Then again, acting your age wouldn't exactly be much fun...

Asdal winked, "So. Are you going to trust me and see where it goes? Because I'm not one to plan things out."

*No problemo*

Polemist:

He looked at the elf as she vanished. He growled with anger. He would have wanted to finish her off.

He turned into a human, and to his great surpsise... fell down.

He had used up to much magic. He had used it up while emiting it so that the hunters would find him. He grunted and forced himself up.

But then he smiled. It had been fun.

He looked before him and saw a girl crying on another girl.

He stood up, shaking. Walked to the two people "What are you doing."

The girl looked up at him and hastily dried her tears "Healing." She replied

[Fayne Premonelle]

She laughed, chime like sort of, as she said, "Want to know something?"

"What?"

"I don't think you actually have any reasons at all why you want me to come." Asdal's mouth opened to say something, but Fayne jumped in before he could. "All you know about me is my name and your trusting me to take me to this person, Kara Glen, and tell me everything you know despite knowing nothing of who I am?"

It looked like Asdal was taken a little by surprise. He paused for a moment, obviously trying to think of an excuse. Fayne smirked and strode on ahead, leaving Asdal.

"Hey, just wait!" he called out, catching up. "Where're you going?"

"I thought we were going to Miss Glen's home?"

"Oh, so you decided to trust me?"

She shrugged, glancing downward briefly to make sure she wouldn't trip on anything. It was so much of a nuisance to be on land. The rocky earth, the hard concrete, litter. "I didn't say that," she explained, looking over to Asdal. "You need to stop twisting my words, that must be the second time I've said that in this conversation. And why am I leading this anyway? I don't know where we're going."

Asdal took a few steps forward so he'd be in the front. "There, better?"

"Somewhat,"

"Hm?" he raised an eyebrow.

"You still didn't tell me."

"Tell you what?"

"Why you trust me so much as to bring me to a supposed wizard named Kara Glen after only a minute of just meeting me." Fayne grinned, wondering how he would respond.

((Skye))

They landed on the rubber pad Kara had put out in her yard for that reason, crash landings. Skye strained to let Ilios down easy. She released him as soon as his head was safely on the pad and fluttered down. The pad clicked and sunk down a metal shaft like an elevator. Another lander flipped up to replace the one they stood on. A door opened below them and the pad was plopped down into Kara's lab.

Skye was greeted by a crash of glass. "Skylar? Skylar Anderson? Holy shit, girl, I haven't seen you in forever!"

Kara was slight of build but big of mouth, as usual. Her curly red hair was pulled back and her square glasses showed off her brown eyes. Kara bounced over to Skye and almost tackled her. She stopped in time to see Ilios, gravely hurt.

"Damn, I thought you came to visit. What happened?" She inquired, her eyes scanning Ilios's form.

Skye explained while Kara gingerly moved him to a bed. "Hunters. A shit load of them too. Another dragon went after Ilios and I couldn't help him in time. He somehow sent them all back to their base but he crashed into the pavement right after he shifted out."

"Thank God for that." Kara sighed, ripping his clothes off. "I don't think I could fit him down here."

She skipped off to get bandages and disinfectant. "I'd heal him with my magic but I would need his permission. Stupid magic rules." She muttered.

"There are more coming." Skye said while shifting her weight warily.

"Mother of God! My house is a mess! Next time try to tell me in advance. Fine. Go get them through the front door." She waved Skye off.

Skye shifted quickly, finally realizing her shorts had been torn to shreds. She sighed and grabbed an extra apron Skye had and dashed up the metal stairs to the main house. The sound of a cocoo clock assaulted her ears along with the scent of tea. Skye maneuvered through the mess of pots and pans and letters that filled Kara's home. She rushed to the stairs that led up to the second floor and found a pair of capris on the bottom step. She smiled and put them on, shedding the apron. After looking the door over Skye found the eyehole amidst the locks. She peered through, looking for her comrades.

Qiti:

He looked at Glacier, she was talking with the weird man.

"Glacier. We must go." Qiti said

Glacier looked up "But I'm healing..." Qiti was stone hard

"Were going... Now."

Glacier nodded, Qiti let the people on his back, before he shot off.

Stranger

Stranger fell back and slammed his hands against his ears as the Harpy’s scream tore through the air. All he had done was shoot that blast bird, but the one shot had caused enough pain to make her let out a scream that seemed to shatter every window in a mile radius. He was of course closer to her then anyone else, and probably more affected by the noise.

Stumbling back he felt the blood in his head begin to pound, and for a moment he was afraid his head might exploded. But as the damn birds shout faded Stranger removed his hands from his ears and opened his mouth to say something... but nothing came out. Startled he tried to yell again, and then he realized he was speaking, he just couldn’t hear anything.

Looking up at the Harpy he could see her mouth moving, yet no sound reached him. What is going on he thought as he reached up and touched his ear. He felt something wet and sticky and quickly pulled his hand back to see dark red blood covering his fingers. My ear drums must have rupture he bitterly realized.

Turning he saw Nhara a short ways away. She had just leapt into the air, moving forward to slice through the skeletal warrior, but the being was to fast. In the blink of an eye it transformed, shrinking in size as it twirled around and stabbed out, its sword slicing into the Elfs stomach. He saw her gasp in horror as a spray of blood flew out of her mouth. The skeletal warrior viciously yanked his sword free from her stomach and tossed the Dark Elf to the ground, like some piece of trash.

Dammit, Stranger thought as he whirled around, they were losing! Suddenly he felt a cool wind sweep by him. The force of the breeze was strong and nearly knocked him down to the ground as he struggled to stay on his feet. Then he felt something reach into is chest, and begin to pull at his energy, taking the very life that sustained him. Looking up Stranger saw Shadow Claw go soaring by and new instantly he was the one doing this. Part of Stranger wanted to grab the amulet on his neck, he knew he could stop the magic, but as his legs slowly began to buckle he knew it was to late.

Fumbling in his pocket he pulled out a charm, and though he couldn’t hear the Hunter mumbled, “Home...” seconds later Stranger vanished, along with Nhara, Quez, and Selini....

Looking up Stranger slowly pushed off the ground and stood to his feet, grimacing at the pain from his torn up shoulders. “That bitch,” he murmured as he limped over to a near by chair and sat down. Looking over he saw Quez and Selini appear with a small flash of light, both returned to their normal forms. Selini whirled around and faced Stranger, her mouth moving fast as she let out a string of words, only to pause when she realized he couldn’t hear a thing that she was saying.

Quez remained quiet as ever, and turned to find Nhara, pausing when he saw her crumbled and bloodied body lying on the floor. Reach down the Quetzalcoatl touched her neck, checking for a pulse, for any sign of life. Then he slowly raised himself up and met Stranger’s eyes, shaking his head to show she was dead. Muttering a string of curses he couldn’t hear, Stranger pointed a finger at the girl and growled a single word. Seconds later the Dark Elf’s body had turned to ash, reach down Stranger yanked the I’ran out of the ashes and brushed it off before turning to the other to magical creatures and barking. “Contact headquarters, I am going to need another magic user, get me something good, and make sure they have some healing ability, my ears need to be fixed.” Nodding Quez turned to obeyed, leaving Stranger to simmer and rage over the defeat.

Lephi

Lephi didn’t know what was going on, her head felt like it weighed a ton and she couldn’t open her eyes. She kept slipping in and out of consciousness, picking up on the occasional voice or word that echoed from those around her.

“She’s not going to die,” someone calmly said, probably Hikaru.

“What do we do... what do we do...” another voice whimpered, it sounded like Glacier, his worry evident.

“I’ll carry her,” that was probably Qiti. “We should follow the Harpy, they said they were going to a wizards house, perhaps she will be able to help Lephi.”

“She needs help quick,” Hikaru muttered, “She’s lost a lot of blood... very well let’s take her. Qiti, can you sensed where the Harpy went?”

Lephi could almost imagine the dragon nodding as he growled, “Yes, it’s a house not far from here, I can fly us over, come one.”

Then she passed out again, and remained unaware of the quick panicked flight over to Kara’s house. She didn’t feel or know anything. Not even as the Harpy escorted them into the front door and she was rushed down stairs. She couldn’t hear the worried cries from her friends, or the Harpy who was obviously trying to calm them down though she wasn’t obviously the most soft spoken person. She didn’t hear Kara order them all upstairs so she could concentrate, all that Lephi knew was that the darkness seemed to be accepting her, and she was losing all will to live on...

*Wow. I killed the dark elf..... Sob sob*

*I didn't try to kill her, just to brutaly injure her... but... the show must go on, as they say.*

Qiti:

The people on his back were fairly quiet, so Qiti wanted to break the gloomy mood. "So stranger... what is your name."

Polemist lifted his head "My name is Polemist."

Glacier looked at him and asked "What are you?"

Polemist pondered üpon the question a while and then answered "I am, a warrior of death and chaos."

Glacier didn't seem to be even slightly frightened but the answer had set a cold feeling up through Qiti's spine.

*Ouch I think I'm slightly insulted, Glacier is a GUY, not a girl . . .*

Glacier (Blaine Sharde)

Glacier looked at the man who had killed the dark elf, more intrigued then scared, "Death and chaos?"

Shutting his eyes and opened them again, poised with a question, "Does being a warrior of death and chaos including killing things that have done nothing wrong?"

The Polemist guy appeared stumped so Glacier continued, "Do you find pleasure in killing? Even if the life you take is innocent?"

Glacier, though weary from the use of magic, he looked Polemist in the eyes, "Do you have a heart?"

Sitting across from Lephi he notice her eyes flickering open and then closed a couple of times, at least she was waking. He turned to Polemist and waited for some answers.
