Blood on fire, HA like that will stop my character… oh wait… it might
Stranger

The Skeletal warrior stepped back, his eyes narrowly staring at Stranger as he gasped out with a smile, “YOU ARE NOT LIKE THE OTHER."

“No,” Stranger calmly replied as he raised his sword and prepared to attack for the last time.
Suddenly the Skeletal warrior raised his hands into the air, and although Stranger couldn’t sense it, he magic was about to be used. With a curse he moved quickly, ready to strike, but suddenly the blood all around him erupted in bright crimson flames. Caught off guard the Hunter flipped back, only to realize that some of the blood on his was also burning.

Letting out a string of curse words he grabbed the amulet on his neck, and seconds later the fire in the area disappeared and died with a hiss. Releasing the amulet Stranger turned and yelled, “Nhara, Quez, get out hear.”

Moments later the two magical beings came waltzing out of the shadows. Quez was just as stoic as usual, though Nhara’s face was split in an amusing grin. “You should have had him,” she grinned, “the battle was yours, I can’t believe he managed to get away with that little trick.”

Stranger ignored her jab, and said, “Just do your work witch.” Grinning, Nhara knelt beside him and began to wave her hands in the air above his wounds. Slowly, bit by bit they began to close up as Stranger turned to Quez and growled, “Can you still find them.”

“Yes,” the snake man replied, “They are a couple blocks from us, fleeing at a rather fast pace, obviously they are worried you might come after them.”

“As I should,” Stranger grunted, “But they aren’t the main reason why we are hear, did you guys take a picture of that human who was with our skeletal freak?”

“Yes,” Quez replied with a steady nod.

“All done!” Nhara suddenly chimed in as she stopped her flow of magic. “All the little ones are healed, the cut on your side should be fine but it will be a couple hours before it is all closed up. Oh, and I see that my amulet finally came into handy.”

“Indeed,” Stranger murmured as he grasped the silver thing hanging from his necklace, “its ability to dispel magic will probably come into handy even more in the future. For now though, let’s see if Selini will contact us. Quez, pay attention to where those guys flee and make a note of it, we will pay them a visit some time in the future…”

Asdal:

After a long while running, they stopped, Asdal shooting the warrior a glare, "I warned you, didn't I? You can't beat every hunter you come across, and the sooner you work that out, the better." He walked a little distance away, apparently frustrated beyond belief, "Why, why did I have to come back?" He muttered to no one in particular, "Now they know who I am, and I'm stuck helping out some freakish burning giant who just wants to draw them to himself!"

He closed his eyes, "How long can it be...they'll be better at tracking down people from a photo than they were last time, and even then they were pretty fast...it shouldn't take them much longer than contacting their headquarters." He thought for another second, then his eyes shot open, "Shit!" He looked over at the warrior again, "We've got to find my family and get them to leave."

"Why should I help?"

Asdal let out an exasperated sigh, "Because you got me into this mess, and if that's not good enough, you won't be able to survive your next meeting with that hunter without me."

The giant laughed, "And what could you possibly do that I can't? I can barely even sense your magic!"

Asdal rolled his eyes, "Just help me out, alright?" He started walking back in the direction of his house, "I'm Asdal, by the way."

Polemist:

He looked at Asdal for a while. He sighed "Maybe I ´must." He turned around "He is not following us anymore."

Asdal looked at him "How do you know."

"I can't sense his creatures, coming any closer." He shurgged "well I can just start to burn my wounds in."

He made a small flame on his hand and burned all his wounds so that they stopped bleeding.

"I'm Polemist by the way."

"Well Polemist, you are a weir´d person."

"So it seems."

*Sorry guys my internet's on the fritz. And Layleun, harpies can also manipulate sound waves, just thought you should know. Anyone else is ready to jump into this fight, Asdal and Polemist are pretty close to it to.*

Ilios-

Ilios glanced down at the ground and grinned. He caught Skye's eyes and pointed down. A group of five hunters stalked down the main street like they owned the town. "What do you say Skye?"

She grinned evilly at him. "Hey you know me. I'm always up for a good dive bombing." The long sword was in his hands before he could think about it, the blade formed entirely of air and fire. It was slightly curved, an emerald was embedded in the red wrapped hilt. A sword made for slashing and parrying, rather then heavy handed swings and thrusts. Blue-green flames licked up the blade, bathing the pair in ghost light.

Together the two of them tucked their wings and dove out of the sky. Ilios flipped over and slashed one guy across the throat, before he noticed their entrance. He settled into a defensive stance, using his wings to hover a few feet above the ground. Skye came down like a bullet, talons extended she tore raked one of the guys across the chest before pumping her wings for altitude.

Ilios grinned savagely as he turned to the other Hunter's, none of them wore bracelets. Rookie's who had probably snuck out while their mentors did some real hunting, inexperienced hunter's almost never watched for aerial attacks. They always forgot that Myth-Beast's weren't bound by linear thinking.

Selini-

Selini swung her tail like a rudder and coasted through the town her senses stretched to the limit. Suddenly she saw light flare in the sky. Turning her head she saw a pair of myth-beasts. One was a cross between a bird and human, most likely a harpy. The other wore armor just like her Dragoon form, only the blond boy's was red where hers was blue.

Distantly she felt a dull ache at the back of her head, the boy seemed familiar. Just for an instant she saw a flash of a blond boy with green gold eyes. Reaching down to help her climb a tree."Come on Sel, you don't have to be afraid of heights. I'll protect you, I promise." Then the pain intensified and the image was gone. Shaking her head Selini focused on the pair again, in those few seconds she'd been distracted they had dove and sliced through two of the young hunter's one was dead, his throat cut. The other was down on the pavement severely wounded.

A sword of fire. It was one of Shadow Claw's signature abilities, every Hunter knew that. Closing her eyes she touched Stranger's mind. "I found our boy. He's about ten blocks south-east of you, on main-street, tearing into some rookie hunter's with a friend of his. Personally I think if they're stupid enough to wander unsupervised with this much magic in the air. They deserve whatever they get."

"Can you stall them until we get there?" Stranger's mind-voice sounded aggravated and excited at the same time.

"Already on it." Selini broke contact tucked her wings and dove.

Ilios-

He'd never know what made him look up. It was just a feeling, something most people would have ignored. But Ilios had learned to trust his instincts. So he looked up. It was just an instant, but it was enough to glimps the glowing tip of a dragons tail. Then he could see the whole thing, the stream lined wings, the beautiful silver-blue scales, the serrated claws, the flames licking from between the closed jaw, and the damning I'ran around her neck. Ilios had a strange sense of deja vu, before he saw Skye right in the dragons path.

"Skye get down!" He shouted, as he shot forward. Managing to pull them out of the way just as the dragon flew through the space where they had been. They hit the pavement and rolled for a few feet before they managed to take to the air. The dragon had landed on top of one of the stores.

With a mingled sense of horror and dread Ilios looked into eyes he hadn't seen in a decade. Eyes the color of the ocean at midnight, a deep, dark, fathomless blue. The eyes of the twin sister he had though dead for more then a decade. He didn't have to ask anything, the I'ran around Sel's neck was answer enough. His sister was hunting him, and the full moon was rising.

Okay its a little long but it gets most of us invovled in the battle, so YAY!

Stranger – The Hunter

Stranger paused and let a small breath slip from his mouth. Shadow Claw. The long elusive Dragon who had plagued the Hunter’s for months had finally surfaced in a small, costal, California town. The odds of that seemed non existent, but here it was, happening right before him, an opportunity to good to be true. The gods of fate were smiling on him this day, that was for certain.

“Nhara, Quez,” Stranger barked, a malicious grin etching its way across his face. “Shadow Claw has surfaced, ten blocks from here, we need to move. Keep yourselves hidden, but await my signal, I have a feeling that this battle will be bigger then any of us suspect.”

Nhara let out a low cackle as she rubbed her hands together, obviously thrilled at the idea of a fight. Quez remained stoic as usual, but Stranger noticed his feathers looked a bit ruffled, even the lizard man seemed excited at the thought of a fight. “Take us there Nhara,” Stranger whispered, “Put us on top of a nearby building, I want to view the area before we enter the battle.”

With a sharp laugh Nhara raised her hands above her head and crashed them together. The sound was about ten times louder then it should have been, a clear sign of the ancient magic being invoked. Black shadows suddenly jumped up from the earth and swirled around the three Hunters, consuming them before it disappeared with a small bang, taking the three with it in the blink of an eye.

A mere second later the three appeared on a building ten blocks away, over looking a road below where Selini was just beginning to fight with her two foes. Stranger stepped forward and perched one foot on the edge of the building as he peered down, his lips peeling back into a cruel smile as he viewed the scene below. A dragoon and a Harpy stood crouched on the pavement, their eyes wide as they watched the large dragon uncurl her powerful form.

“So it begins,” Stranger whispered, “Nhara, get those Hunter’s down there out of here, don’t forget the dead one.”

“Anything you say,” the Dark Elf crooned as she once again clapped her hands together and vanished.

A second later she appeared down on the ground in the midst of the novice Hunters. They were to shaken up or scared to do anything, the appearance of a Dragon, as well as the random attack on them had left the poor boys petrified and frightened. “Come on children, time to go,” Nhara sweetly sung, as she raised her hands and slammed them together. They disappeared in a swirl of dark shadows, leaving the area down below empty besides the dragon and her opponents.

“Need we interfere?” Quez rumbled as he cast a side long glance at Stranger.

“Not at the moment,” Stranger intoned with a steady grin, “The moon is just reaching its peek; Selini will be more then able to deal with those two. For now we will watch, I am more then certain that this little display will draw out a few more creatures. Make sure you stay aware, and be prepared to enter the battle. With two dragons in one place I may have need of your power.

“Of course,” Quez rumbled as the two stood and watched the fight slowly begin down below.

Lephi – The Leviathan

Lephi let out a small squeal of laughter. The conversation with Qiti, her, and Hikaru had started out quite awkward at first, but the small group had slowly warmed up to each other, even Glacier was chiming in from time to time with some small little comment. Now all of them were sitting around the kitchen table and laughing as Qiti related to them the story of his first time trying to fly.

Suddenly a large boom sounded from outside. Everyone froze, and Lehpi’s eyes went big as she grabbed the arm on her chair and whispered, “Oh my god… can you guys feel that!”

“Magic,” Hikaru hissed as he rose to his feet, “And strong magic at that.”

“They are dragons,” Qiti said in shock as he to rose to his feet. “One… no wait, at least two dragons.”

“Hear?” Hikaru asked in disbelief, “but… how? Why?”

“I don’t know,” Qiti honestly answered with a shrug.

“The Magic is getting stronger,” Glacier suddenly chimed in, “And some of it feels… wrong.”

“No kidding,” Hikaru muttered, “This whole scenario is wrong.”

“We should help,” Glacier suddenly decided as he turned, darted over to the front door, yanked it open and disappeared outside.

“No, Glacier wait!” Lephi called as she took a step forward, but Hikaru grabbed her arm to stop her.

“We can’t,” he growled, “That kind of Magic will have attracted every hunter in the area, it will be dangerous, too dangerous for us.”

“We can’t let Glacier just going wandering out there alone,” Lephi replied as she shook her arm free, “Besides, can’t you tell that someone is in trouble, someone good. We need to help, not only for their sake but for the towns! The magic is getting… dangerously volatile.”

“She correct you know,” Qiti said as he grabbed his jacket and headed for the door. “A battle this strong has the potential to destroy the entire town, if we can help we should.”

Hikaru seemed to hesitate, his eyes glancing from the door to the room they now stood in. Lephi reached out and grabbed his hand; she knew that she had only known Hikaru for a day, but she also knew that his help was needed. “Please…” she whispered.

“All right,” Hikaru sighed, “But we better hurry before that stupid kid jumps into the fight and gets himself killed!” Lephi smiled and squeezed his hand to say thanks. Then all three of them turned and darted out the door…

Stranger – The Hunter

Stranger watched closely, studying every move the beings down below made as they fought, their attacks shaking the earth with power. Selini darted forth again, sweeping out with her claw while her tail darted in from the side. She was fast, and her attack would have hit the dragoon – who Stranger assumed was Shadow Claw – if the Harpy hadn’t grabbed her friend and yanked him out of the way.

The two friends stretched their wings and took off flying in the air, swirling around Selini as she let out an angry roar. Opening her mouth the dragon belched out a large ball of flame that flew toward the Harpy girl. She would have been hit if Shadow Claw hadn’t darted in, his sword ignited as he met the ball of fire head on. His sword and Selini’s flame connected, and for a moment it looked as if the Dragoon would be overwhelmed. But with a shout he managed to push forward and slice through the fire ball, distinguishing it.

“They fight as a pair who has seen numerous battles together,” Quez observed as another explosion lit up the night sky.

“Yes,” Stranger drawled, “There able to read and predict each others movements, it’s the only reason why they have managed to even fight this long. We need to split them up.”

The words were barley out of his mouth when Quez turned and rumbled, “We have company.”

”So soon!” Stranger chortled as he peeked over the building’s edge. He was surprised to see a young boy running toward the battle; he was pursued by three other youngsters, two boys and a girl. “What are they?”

Quez paused as he tested their powers before replying, “One is a dragon, the boy on the left. I’m not certain what the other boy is, but I sense another aura around him, possibly a spirit. The girl is dragon like… though there is something off about her, she is different.”

“Could she be like you?” Stranger inquired.

“Possible,” Quez allowed with small nod, “But she is still unique, the magic around her is wild and uncontrolled like the sea. And the younger boy is a Kender, I would recognize the stench of his kind anywhere.”

“Surprising that another dragon would show up here,” Stranger murmured as he eyed the four below. “If he tries to get involved in the fight I want you to deal with him.” Quez didn’t answer, but Stranger knew that he understood the order. Quez was no stranger to fighting dragons, he had helped his master kill numerous ones in the past, and this would be no different. “Nhara!” Stranger called as the Dark Elf immediately materialized next to him.

“The younger Hunters have been taken care of, the fools snuck out, hoping to stumble upon a dragon,” she said with a grin.

Stranger grunted in amusement as he pointed down to the group of kids below. “Nhara, I want you to deal with the girl, the young child, and that boy next to them. Quez you know what to do, and I think I will go take care of our little Harpy friend so Selini can focus on the main source of our trouble.” Nhara clapped her hands together with a cackle of joy as she vanished in a black cloud. Stranger turned and watched the Harpy circle in the air, narrowly dodging a plume of fire from Selini’s mouth.

“I wonder how many things she can dodge at once,” Stranger murmured as he reached into his jacket out pulled out a pistol. Taking aim he began to pump rounds off, sending bullets flying through the air toward the bird creature. The first few missed but one managed to clip her wing, and with a scream of surprise the Harpy went fluttering down toward the ground.

“She is far from finished,” Quez suddenly boomed, “You merely grazed her wing, she fell more from surprise then anything else.”

“Well I will just have to finish the job, won’t I,” Stranger replied as he turned and leapt off the building side toward the Harpy below. As he fellow he shouldered his gun and slipped his sword out of the sheath. Flipping around he landed smoothly on the pavement below and slowly stalked toward the Harpy who was just beginning to lift herself off the ground. “Hello my dear!” he called with a sweet smile, “I am afraid I can’t allow you to interfere with that battle over there.”

She just glared at him and turned to leap into the air when a gun shot froze her in her tracks. Looking over she glared at Stranger who once again held a pistol in his hands, “Now, now,” he softly called, “I thought I told you to leave them alone.”

Letting out a scream of rage the Harpy lifted into the air and flew straight toward Stranger. “Come get it,” he muttered as he lifted his sword and charged as well.

Lephi – The Leviathan

Lephi grabbed a hold of Glacier and pulled him back while whispering, “Glacier please stop!”

“But they need help,” the boy muttered as he pointed toward the dragon with the collar on its neck and its two opponents.

“I’ll help them,” Qiti said as he moved out of the alley way and onto the street where the battle was take place.

Lephi suddenly felt a stir of magic behind her and whirled around in time to see a ball of pure black flame flying towards her. Without even thinking she yanked her canteen of water out of her backpack and forcefully pulled the water out while throwing it up around her and Glacier as a shield. The ball of fire connected with her barrier and disappeared with a soft hiss, filling the air with steam.

Lephi gently lowered her barrier and saw that a Dark Elf woman stood before them. Hikaru was already at her side, his stance a defensive one as he watched the opponent. She could feel magic coursing around him and new he was ready for whatever was about to take place. It wasn’t him she was worried about however; she and Glacier were the ones in trouble. This alley way didn’t have any plants or water in it besides a few weeds; in fact all the blocks surrounding them were nothing but concrete and stone. She and the boy were at a disadvantage; Glacier couldn’t create seeds to bring forth plants, he needed living things to manipulate, and all she had was the water from her canteen which was hardly enough to help in a battle of this magnitude. “You just watch my back,” Hikaru whispered as if reading her thoughts, “Support me when you can, and we’ll be fine.” She wordlessly nodded as she grabbed the water with her magic and prepared for what was to come.

“I’ll deal with her!” Qiti suddenly roared from behind them. Lephi had totally forgot about him, and turned to see him morph and shape, his skin contorting and stretching as he grew into a large dragon. With a roar Qiti took a step forward when all of the sudden a beast: equal to his size appeared behind him. The large dragon like creature was covered in feathered scales, and with a scream that shook the earth it grabbed Qiti with its claws and tossed him hundreds of feet up into the air before leaping after him, wings stretching out from its back as it flew up toward its prey.

“You’re all mine,” the Dark Elf cackled as dark energy swirled around her finger tips, “Time to die little creatures!”

*Nicely done!*

Ilios-

Ilios shook off the shock of seeing his sister once again. He cocked he head and watched her, she had taken her full dragon form, physically he was at a disadvantage. But magically they were evenly matched. The time of day played a key role in the level of power they could draw, but the time of year gave even more strength. As the earth turned toward the summer solstice and the days grew longer, Ilios would grow steadily stronger. Just as Sel would during autumn and winter.

His gaze flicked towards the ground. Skye was fighting with a hunter, clearly experienced. A bunch of Myth-Beasts had come to the fight, lured by the magic. He couldn't see what was happening in the alley but he did see the Asian dragon go shooting into the sky, followed by a bird-dragon hybrid.

Turning his attention back to his own fight, Ilios shook his head sadly. Watching Selini circle above him. "You don't recognize me, do you Sel?" His voice was smooth and calm, not like Ilios at all. Skye cocked her head from the ground, all the myth-beasts had excellent hearing, so they could probably all hear the conversation. Heck the human-hunter probably had a charm that enhanced his senses too.

But none of them knew what Skye knew, Ilios yelling at the top of his lungs was dangerous. Ilios calm when he shouldn't was deadly.

Icy blue eyes glittered dangerously as Ilios dispelled his sword. "I know the Hunters sometimes wipe the minds of the more powerful myth-beasts they catch. I guess your precious council figured I wouldn't be able to kill my own twin. But with that I'ran you're not my baby sister. You aren't the twin I protected when we were little. What you are is a threat, and that's reason enough for me to take you down."

Heat shimmered around Ilios, he drew the heat that had collected all day in the town, he drew it from the streets and the buildings, from the ocean and the earth itself. A thin film of frost appeared over the pavement and the store fronts. Until he held an inferno in the palm of his hands. Ilios watched the way the heat danced through the air coiling in ropes and patterns. Then, he reached with his mind and twisted it just so.

The heat poured into his body, enough energy to take dragon form. Ilios knew he looked like his twin, the only difference was coloring, where she was a solid silver-blue, like quicksilver. He was an orange-gold. Normally he wouldn't be able to maintain dragon form for more then twenty minutes. But with the reappearance of his sister, he was just angry enough to take the risk.

Selini shot into the sky a silver blur, and Ilios followed. When they were just below the cloud line they stopped and faced each other. Selini's eyes were cold and flat, the eyes of a killer, it happened sometimes, after they were caught by the hunter's they stopped caring. The Myth-Beast became only a tool, a weapon.

Ilios hoped Skye and those others could get away. Because at the back of his mind was the knowledge that he and Selini were opposites. And when you put a positive and a negative together. You either got a great combination, or one hell of an explosion.

QITI:

The hybrid had taken him by suprise. He stopped in mid air. He looked at the creature coming to him.

He turned around to the woods. He soon found an open. He waited for the hybrid tocome. when it came Qiti looked at the feathery creature for a few seconds before he transformed himself completely. Qiti grew in size and lenght. He grew whiskers.

Without word the indian charged at him. Qiti was now three times as long as the creature and twice as big. But the creature semmed not to care.

Qiti rose up to his full lenght, it was magnifisent. He looked at the charging creature and summoned the grass to grow long and strong. The hybrid slowed down for a while but then went into the thick grass forest. Qiti now created a wood wall before himself and then made a similar on the other side of the grass forest, he now made the trees grow so that they made a circle and he also made a roof.

Glacier (Blaine Sharde)

Glacier looked at the two large creatures fighting and he felt tears well up in his eyes, "This isn't right."

He loved animals, they shouldn't have been fighting each other. He looked at Lephi and Hikaru who were tsanding in front of himl they seemed ready to take on the world.

Before Glacier knew it himself, he was crying ; on the floor and sobbing, he voice boomed loudly, loud enough to leave a ringing in Lephi's ears,, "THIS ISN'T RIGHT!"

As if following his voice both large creature stopped fihting for a moment to look at him. and his eyes narrowed; anger had taken over He sprinted out of the defence that Hikaru and Lephi had put around him and darted forward out of reach. He drew on some power and with a blink of his eyes large thick tall extinct trees burst from the ground and enwrapped the creature that was not Qiti.

The trees used to be fossil seeds, burried deep underground, but Glacier had managed to bring them to life and make them grow at an alarming speed. The tree held the large creature, but it thrashed trying to get away, Glacier winced - he could feel the tree's pain. Manipulating the tree further he squeezed air in his hand and the tree followed, it began to enprison the creature more.

Tears began to fill Glacier's eyes as the creature slowly gave up and calmed down. He let his hand which had been clenched the whole time loosen, he looked at Hikaru and Lephi who were having their own fight with the Dark Elf.

He swallowed, it always brought him pain to cause the pain of others, especially creatures who had no control over their actions. Qiti had taken in the situation and was laready charging the Dark Elf.

Glacier followed suit, "We'll see who'll die today!"

His voice was cold, the pain had made him emotionless, his mind drifted back to his home and when his parents discovered his pointed ears - he had leanred to be emotionless for that and other reasons as well

He stalked towards the Dark Elf, but his gaze was directed at Lephi, "Lephi, make a orb around her, a orb of water when I say go."

She frowned but followed his intructions.

His gaze turned towards Qiti, "You can breath fire, yes?"

Qiti nodded, "Good. You breath the hottest fire you can when I say go."

Glacier turned his palms upwards and threw his hands up, the ground around the elf was turend in to a ball around her, the dirt surrounding the her al tealt 20 cms thick, Glacier yelled, "GO!"

Lephi drew upon he water and made a orb to surround the earth, while simoutaneuosly Qiti breathed fire. The water moistened the earth, which was really just dry clay and the fire turned to the into hard clay as if it had been in the furnace."

Glacier drew a ragged breath and let his hands down, the sphere which contained the dark Elf was unescapable, it's walls were too strong. He looked at Hikaru, "Put a hole in it so she can breath."

Hikaru nodded and proceeded to do so.

Qiti:

His fire had not killed the weird hybrid.

He saw Glacier running at the hybrid and the next thing he saw shocked him; he saw Glacier using the earth.

She can use the earth?

The weird hybrid seemed to calm down when it noticed that it could not move anymore.

He was asked to breathe fire so he did.

Oh this battle is far from over my young freinds!

Oh and Lord Anzius, Quez is in his Dragon form right night so he doesn’t look like an Indian, I wasn’t sure if you got that so I just wanted to confirm.

hey piepie I wasn't sure what kind of a weapon Hikaru used since it didn't say in his bio, hope what I did was okay

Quez

Quez let out a low grumble that shook the very earth beneath him. Did these mortals think that a mere tree could hold him? How amusing, the lack of their knowledge was quite surprising, if they had wished to stop him they would have to kill him. Closing his eyes the Quezicotal summoned the winds from all over the four corners of the earth, drawing its power to him he began to building pressure around the tree, then with a might roar the wind exploded, shattering the tree and showering pieces of bark and debris everywhere.

The surprise out burst caused his opponents to whirl around in shock, but Quez gave them no time to even think. Summoning more wind he released a ferocious blast, stronger then any hurricane ever seen. It lifted up the Dragon he had been fighting and hurled the pour thing into a nearby building, causing the building to collapse and bury the dragon in a pile of ruble. The dragon was far from dead, but Quez could feel he was wounded and stunned.

Landing on the ground he eyed the three others, especially the foolish young Kender. “Boy,” Quez spoke, his low deep voice shaking the earth with authority, “You are young and still do not understand the ancient magic you are invoking. I have lived for centuries, and it will be years before someone at your level will even be able to hurt me.” He didn’t say it cruelly, nor did he say it to scare the boy, instead he was simply stating a fact.

The young Kender looked surprised but all of a sudden the ball of hard clay they had formed began to crack and shake. Tiny little fissures opened up on its surface before it suddenly exploded, and Nhara came waltzing out, a smile of pleasure on her face. "My that thing was hard," She crooned, "but were all still just getting started."

Raising her hand into the air Nhara unleashed a blast of pure black energy straight for the blue headed girl. The girl tried to use what little water she had left to defend herself but most of it had been used up on the ball they had used to trap the Dark Elf in, and the dark energy easily blast through it and hit her hard in the chest. With a scream of pain she was sent flying back to the ground, where she landed and remained still, either dead or unconscious.

The Kender boy looked as if he was about to cry, and Quez roared, “Watch boy, and know the power of the dragons!”

Quez once again called the winds, they came soaring to him from all corners of the earth. Like a silent typhoon the air around the large beast began to twist and turn as the energy he was gathering increased. The Kender boy raised his hands, summoning his magic and trying to stop the wind but his strength and will were no match for the Dragon's and instead the boy called to the seeds below the ground. Trees began to pop up, but everyone that grew was suddenly sliced to pieces by the wind that was beginning to grow more violently in the area.

Quez looked down at the young child and whispered, “Goodbye.” He then released the winds around him, allowing them to shoot out in a gigantic explosion that shook the heavens. The winds roared forth, picking up nearby buildings and cars, sending them crashing and flying everywhere as if a tornado had just exploded. The Kender boy raised his arms, trying to use his magic to shield him, but Quez had total control of the wind, and none of it would go to the child’s aid.

Suddenly the Kender boy was launched into the air as the wind picked him up and flung him high. A scream of terror echoed from the young boys mouth as he began to fall, began to descend toward his death. A sudden roar sounded out from the ground, and the other dragon, Qiti, Quez though he had been called, suddenly shook himself free from the rubble that had ensnared him and launched into the air after the boy.

It was a lucky catch, the Kender was maybe a few feet from the ground, his life seconds from ending when Qiti swooped down and grabbed him, carrying him free from the wind and up into the sky. Quez didn’t respond, he was slightly disappointed but more thrilled at the thought of a hunt. Spreading his gigantic wings he took off after the two, the fun was far from over.

Lephi - The Leviathan

Lephi let out a groan as she slowly sat up from the pavement. Her eyes widened as she saw that the area around them had been completely destroyed, utterly annihilated. Buildings in close proximity had been flattened, and it looked like a tornado had carved through this section of the city. “What?” She whispered as she went to stand, but suddenly winced as a sharp pain jabbed in her side.

She gingerly grabbed the area that hurt and was puzzled when she felt something warm on her skin and clothes. Looking down she slowly lifted her hand and froze when she saw it was dark red with blood. I’m... bleeding she suddenly thought with fear, but how? When?

“Why did you shield us from that dragon things wind attack,” she suddenly heard a voice demanded.

Looking over to her left she saw Hikaru, his body shimmering with energy, and for a moment she realized he wasn’t Hikaru. Well he was... but he wasn’t. She didn’t know how to explain it but a different energy of emitting from his body, something in him had changed, or something else had come out. And in his hands was a sword, it looked to be mostly comprised of magic however. The Dark Elf laughed at Hikaru’s question, “Why did I block the beasts wind from you? Stop it from picking you up and carryiing you away? Why its quite simple my dear, I want to kill you my self!”

Raising her hands the Dark Elf began to throw blast after blast of dark energy at Hikaru. The boy moved and dodged with such grace, he acted like one who had seen many battles, who knew the art of war. Twirling Hikaru avoided another blast of black fire, while simply carving through another with his sword. He had slowly managed to work his way closer and closer to the witch, and suddenly he rolled forward, slashing out with his blade. The witch proved to be surprisingly fast however and managed to dodge to the side, a move Hikaru had been expecting. As she moved to the side his foot swung out and tripped her, sending the dark elf sprawling forward with a cry of surprise. Hikaru was then on his feet, blade swinging down toward the dark elf. The witch to was fast however, she rolled away, but Hikaru’s blade still caught her back, tearing a long gash down her side.

With a scream of rage the witch jumped back up to her feet, blood dripping from her back as he face contorted in pain. “Fine then,” she hissed, “Let’s really fight!” Raising her arms in the air she began to intone an ancient spell and suddenly four swords materialized out of thing air. They just hung their, slowly sweeping back in forth, but as Nhara pointed at Hikaru they leapt forward and attacked, swinging and slicing as they attacked the boy from all different angles. “Let’s see you deal with that!” the dark elf crowed with triumph.

Lephi wanted to help, but she was bleeding, badly. She could feel her life and magic slowly slipping away as the dark red liquid continued to run down her side. “I need help,” she mumbled softly, as her head began to spin and she slowly collapsed back onto the ground.

**I'm so lost right now. I can't tell where anything is or how I'd be able to jump in. All I can tell is that a fight is going on with the mythical creatures and the hunters. :( Can someone please somehow bring me in?**

Asdal:

They were abobut halfway to his house when the sounds of a renewed battle reached them. Asdal sighed, letting his hair turn completely white as he let his magic flow through him, quickly phasing in and out a few times. He shivered, "Need to get used to that again." He looked over at Polemist, "Go and join in that fight - our side'll need help, and I need you to stop anyone from getting to me for five, maybe ten minutes. I'll join you after that."

He turned and ran the rest of the way back to his house, not waiting for a response.

As soon as he got there, Leo looked up from where he'd been waiting on the fence, "Asdal, what the hell's going on? Jerri's scared out of her mind by everything we're hearing from the town, hell, I'm not doing too good myself." He stopped, "What happened to your hair?"

"I don't have time to explain everything, Leo. It's complicated. I'll put it like this. Sooner or later, some people are going to ask you guys if you know me. Say we never got along because I'm the adopted one and never really liked it that way. Tell them last time you saw me, we had one hell of a fight. But only if they ask, alright?"

"Asdal..."

"No time, Leo. I've gotta go. Tell the others I love them." He started back the other way, checking that no hunters had heard him.

He'd only walked a block when he came across a pair of them - apparently inexperienced - trying to capture a girl maybe a year or so younger than him. One of them had an I'ran in his hand, the other held something that resembled a taser gun. The girl had a scythe, and neither of them seemed willing enough to try getting past it.

Asdal moved beore either of them saw him, diving straight for the one with the I'ran. One hand closed on the hunter's neck as the two of them hit the ground, and the hunter struggled to close the collar on him, but soon found his limbs were almost completely useless. The other spun and fired his taser, only to see it pass straight through Asdal and instead attach itself to the other hunter. Asdal stepped forward and drained his strength as well. The man collapsed, twitching a little.

Asdal grinned up at the girl, "Amateurs."

*DSF people only put Indian for Quez because that's what you put as his race. You never gave his magical race. Kitty right now there's a big fight going. My characters are duking it out together, Stranger and Skye are fighting, Lephi and Hikaru are fighting Nhara, Quiti and Glacier are fighting Quez.*

Ilios-

The two dragons clashed together, and the next few minutes were a blur. Of flashing claws and teeth. Sparks flew as Ilios' claws scraped along Selini's hardened belly scales. In the back of his mind he could sense the clock ticking, he didn't have much time left. Twisting, he pulled away from Selini, leading her on a chase.

He glanced around and saw the other dragon being chased by the hybrid. The street itself was quite a sight to see. A mix of cracked pavement and busted trees for a good stretch of road. "We're losing."
Ilios needed to buy time for everyone to escape that left only one option. "This is gonna hurt, I really hope I don't end up eating pavement." Trimming his wings, Ilios flew low to the ground the wind caused by his then Selini's passing knocked most of the combatants over. At this range Ilios could feel their heartbeats. He could see the pale blue-gold flames flickering within people, like they were lanterns. The ones with I'ran, bracelet or collar, had flames rimmed in black.

Reaching out, he touched those four minds gently. Then he pulled the body heat out of them. Heat, or fire, is the source of all life, it was as natural for Ilios to use those flames, as it was to use other places of heat. The problem lay in the fact that life can't be sustained without body heat. Worst case scenario they die, best case they just collapse.

Ilios grinned fiercely as he heard raw cries. It's never pleasant to have heat drawn from you. Then he saw space bend around them. Roaring he whirled to grab Selini but she was already gone. the Hunter's had charms, that returned them to their base if they were incapacitated. Snarling Ilios fought to retain dragon form. But just like always it slipped away from him.

"Times up."He thought groggily, Ilios phased to human form just moments before hitting the street. He wasn't sure how the others would react to him or Skye, but he was already unconscious.

Polemist:

He walked foward, Grinning, laughing. It was time to battle.

When he got to the battle sight, he saw a group of creatures fighting, he had all intention to join. HE also saw the stranger, he growled. It was pay back time. He walked in the middle of the fight, the mythical beasts looked stupified, but the stranger and his companions only a bit suprised. Polemist summoned his magic.

He became the large monster, with it's red armor.

"I-im ba-ack." He he said. His face turned serious "It is time for you to die."

He set his body on fire, his sword of chaos and shield of death were on fire also. The ground beneath his feet grumbled.

He lunged foward at the dark elf. She had just and only just time to look out. Polemist fired a fire ball at the woman. He came again, just as the elf had deffended against the fire, Polemist came out of the blue, he shlased and hit, and banged with his sword andshield, with rage that somepeople think impossible, the elf was banged side to side, until Polemist with a surge of power hit her high in the air and let her fall down to the ground with a mighty crash.

Polemist looked att her for a second, she rose up. Badly beaten "You will pay." She siad Fired a huge black fire ball at Polemist who deffended, and just as he lowered his shield he saw the elf coming at him a meter away, he was too slow to deffend and she was coming for his heart.

The seconds felt like minutes...

Clang......

The elf was in the air a very suprised expression on her face, Polemist was in his skeletal warrior form.

He let the elf fall to the ground. He was grining again. He laughed at the world. He was.........
Mad. The maddnes combined with his magic, his aura upset the blanace of the town.

He was death, he was maddness.

(Thanks Sylver! I forgot about the sound =P)

((Skye))

Straight towards a Hunter, good move emotion. Good move. Skye finished chiding herself and pulled up so the Hunter shot at her some more. Her wing screamed with pain as she pulled them in, letting herself drop straight onto the Hunter. A fierce screech shot out of Skye's mouth. The Hunter swayed and cringed, the shriek had gone for his inner ear, making him go slightly off balance. That's when Skye sunk her talons into his shoulders. She dug them in and ripped them away, struggling to gain air again.

The Hunter let out a roar of anger and started after her. However, Ilios had given her an advantage. The Hunter promptly slipped on the growing frost. He took out his gun and shot again. Straight through her arm where it sunk into her bone. A loud cry came from Skye's mouth, crippling anyone in a half mile radius or so.

She cringed. Something felt wrong. She turned her head just in time to see Ilios crash into the street.

Mother fuc... "Retreat!" Skye cried frantically. She clawed at the ground and flew toward Ilios. She gripped his torn shoulders as gently as she could and beat her wings hard, dragging him up with her. If anyone she had to save her leader.

"Retreat!" She called out again to the MythBeasts, hoping they would hear. She flew faster ad steadier to the closest place that was safe. The home of Kara Glen, wizard of the MythBeast force. Hopefully everyone else knew about it because once they got to her house, no one could touch them.
