Polemist:

He looked up at Glacier and saw him crying. "Interresting." He said.

Glacier looked down "Didn't you get hurt?" He sniffed

Polemist smiled "Think of it as a scream of suprise... my blood is fire. Besides it wasnt that hot."

He sat down on the floor, "You should really let your brother out a little bit more. He seems a bit edgy."

Glacier (Blaine Sharde)


Glacier let out a nervous breath, "Yeah, someday he'll have this body to himself."

He smiled at Polemist. Suddenly they fell, the floor had been scorched and gave way underneath thier weight.

They dropped like rocks in water. They fell right onto the others.

Glacier chucked them a shaky smile, "Uh, hey guys."


*Geh, don't ask me, this defies logic, but it doesn't matter. ^^*

*sorry I haven't posted in so long. I was grounded. They took my computer away (sob) I will post shortly just as soon as I've caught up.*

*I will now try to save the storybook, warning this could be pretty long.*

Ilios-

"You're not going to do something stupid are you?"

Ilios looked up from tying his shoes. Kara stood in front of him hands on her hips. Sighing, he stood up and gave Kara a small smile. "Me? Do something stupid? Now, what on earth gave you that idea?"

She shrugged taking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Your eyes. You only ever get that look in your eyes when you have some horrendous piece of mischief in mind. Besides, Skye told me about your sister."

Sunlight filtered in through the windows, Ilios hair seemed to glow, banding with light, as he walked past her to pick up his sword. "I haven't seen her in years, I don't even know her anymore. She's just a captured myth-beast."

"Don't toy with me Ilios." Kara snapped. "I am no one of your men to dance like a puppet for you. You're too clever for your own good buy I've seen the pain you hide from the world."

His head whipped around and he stared at Kara green-gold eyes wide in shock. Shaking her head she looked at Ilios sadly. "Come on Ilios, how many times have I healed you when you were sick or injured. And the one name you always cried, was Selini."

Ilios flinched as he opened his mouth to answer they heard a crash from downstairs. Quickly, the two ran down the the staircase to find Glacier and Polemist sitting in a bunch of fire scarred rubble, the others staring at them in surprise or shock.

Swearing Kara stepped forward and hit the pair on the head. "Great work you two. Now what are we supposed to do?"

Glacier rubbed his head ruefully. "It's no big deal I can just fix the ceiling for you."

"No. You can't." Ilios crouched down and picked a piece of uncharred wood. Their was magic rune carve into it, part of a larger cypher. "When you two broke the floor you damaged the wards. The hunter's can sense where we are now."

Selini-

Selini held the necklace up to the light the broken quartz crystal caught the sunlight and fractured tiny rainbows playing across her face and silver hair. She had always been fascinated by the necklace, she had worn it all the time but had never really known why.

Her head throbbed again and she saw another scene. Herself as a child holding this crystal and its other half. "You take one and I'll take the other. That way we'll never really be apart okay Ilios." Wincing, Sel slipped the necklace back on rubbing her head.

Suddenly Quez ran into the kitchen followed by Kaden and Stranger. Quez grinned with satisfaction as he announced. "I know where they're hiding. The wards they were under cracked about five minutes ago."

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go." Stranger grinned his eyes sparkling like a child who had just seen Christmas come early.

Glacier


He shook his head sadly, "It wasn't intended! I just . . . lost a little control."

Polemist smiled at this and Glacier couldn't help but smile back. He began, "Can we make new wards? Or do we have to leave?"

Ilios shook his head, "The wards are shattered even if we repair them, they'll already know where we are, we have to leave . . . now."

They all nodded. Glacier had a guilty expression on his face, really it was all his fault for the wards being broken. He sighed, everything was again was the fault of his brother.

One day, he would surrender his body to his brother. But before htne he insisted on trying to change him first.

He shook his head and began to follow the team, straggling last; battling with inner demons. Ilios sat at the head of the team, leading.




(I don't know exactly where we are, but we have to leave and Ilios can be leader, it seems he knows more.)
