May I add a character? Or are there too many at the moment?

If you do allow me to join I don't plan on going into the tavern. Too many people already in there.

Bella

"Hello," The man I had run into said, looking down at me. His dark brown eyes lingered on my face, which was blushing a warm red by this time.

"H...h..hi," I stammered, lowering my gaze to the floor.

"My name is Daniel Redding," he said, chuckling lightly and taking my arm. I didn't argue as he pulled me toward a small table in the shadows of the building. "What's yours?"

"I'm Isabella Milan," I answered softly, sitting down across from him. We spent the next few moments in silence, each of us taking in the other and attempting to pass some sort of judgement.

"What are you doing here, Miss Isabella?" Daniel asked, his brown eyes never straying from my face. I looked down, tracing the table top with my finger tip. He was a charmer, it was obvious by the way my name rolled of his tongue, causing me to blush unwillingly. "If you don't mind my asking, that is."

"I needed some place to stop," I replied, nodding toward the door. It had opened again, as someone else entered, and we could hear the rain coming down hard. "I didn't want to get caught in that." I didn't mention the fact that the rain would have probably rendered me near useless for the rest of the day. Water tended to do that. "What about you, why are you here?"

Daniel

"Looking for a pretty girl to kiss," Daniel replied with a glimmer in his eye before standing and casually nodding in the direction of the bar with such a natural movement of his head that it was as if he had merely stretched or not moved at all.

"Would you like a drink?" He withdrew two copper coins from a pouch at his belt and leaned on the dirty, wooden table, a chestnut curl falling across his left eye. The dark, grimy surroundings did not seem to bother Daniel; that was part of his charm: he could look comfortable anywhere. Isabella's cheeks turned a deeper shade of crimson but she answered with growing confidence: yes she would like a drink. Daniel smiled, the sort of smile that made a person feel welcome and wanted.

"I'll get us some ale then." As Daniel approached the bar, he nodded to the tavern's other inhabitants, acknowledging the young boy sat alone at one table, a woman in a purple dress leaning over a map, a young, blonde woman dressed in white and several others. All were smiled at, all were noted in a corner of his mind and then he bought the drinks and returned to Isabella.

There was no urgency in the man's step and he appeared relaxed, though a tightness at his lips might have given away the panic he felt inside and the occasional, brief flick, flick of his eyes as they glanced at the broken clock on the wall that was frozen at twelve minutes to midnight with the second hand ticking forward a second and then back a second as if time weren't frozen but rather hesitant to move on. Hesitant to move in case it missed an event: a seedy deal in the corner, a private exchange at the bar or a stolen kiss at a table at the back. Daniel placed a drink in front of Isabella and raised his own glass to her before taking a drink.

"Thank you," Isabella said with a smile.

"It's my pleasure." Daniel sat down and as he did, one of the tavern's inhabitants approached the table, a mug in hand.

"Do you mind if I join you?" She asked, looking directly at Daniel who nodded and smiled.

"Not at all. I'm Daniel Redding. Allow me to introduce my lovely acquaintance, Miss Isabella Milan. And might we know your name?"

Bio:

Name: Autumn Leon Scaff

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Race: Fire Elemental

Looking for: Revenge ^_^

Facial Features: Soft jaw line with nose and slightly plump lips to match. Incredibly harsh eyes with a startling red brick color. Long lashes and well sculpted eyebrows.

Hair: An odd combination of white with scarlet highlights. The length of her hair reaches her tail bone and is layered with natural looking bangs. Straight mostly from the weight of it, but it has a slight wave.

Body type: Strong shoulders with an average bust size and thin waist. Slightly curvy hips and long, lean runners legs. She stands about 5'9.

Tattoo's & piercings: Small tribal like tattoo near her left eye and a dream catcher engulfed in flame in the middle of her shoulder blades (aprox. 4'X12'). Ears are pierced-two on each side and her nose has a small silver ring in it.

Wardrobe: Usually can be found wearing knee high, black lace up boots with black capris. Wears a waist corset wrapped around a simple short or long sleeved shirt accompanied by a thin wool jacket that goes to the middle of her thigh.

Preferred Weapon: Her element of course! But she also keeps a dagger sheathed on her hip.

Skills: Can play the cello well. She can make simple healing concoctions that she learned from her mother. When Autumn is bored she will either read, practice her skills, or hang out in trees.

Personality: Very determined individual. She mostly keeps to herself, doesn't flaunt her talents and likes things on the dangerous side.

Background: Autumn's father, Carson, was a Fire Elemental as well. She was taught by her father from the age of 10 how to control her gift. Mother of Autumn is Celte (cell-tay), who owned a small shop and apothecary.

Her parents were murdered when Autumn was 20. For five years she stayed home and finished business there. Roughly a year ago she sold her mothers store and left.

She has been writing family as she has moved from town to town trying to find somewhere she belongs- a week ago, her uncle on her fathers side, who has been out of contact for years, wrote telling her to come and visit. He briefly wrote that he may know who killed her parents.

Weaknesses: She is very touchy about her parents. She doesn't sleep well or often because of the nightmares. She dreams of many different ways her parents could have been murdered.

Doesn't like sword combat. She's kinda sloppy with it. She is good with daggers though. Her fire elemental power runs out after a while and she has to eat after a fight. She will try and talk out of a fight, but will not back down if too far in one already.

Carried Items: Extra change of clothes, except jeans. Food, water, candle, rope, small knife other than the one on her hip, soap, and money in a hidden pocket. All carried in a bag slung over her head, with the strap resting on her shoulder.

Sky

Sky squinted against the brightness of the sun. Her feet hurt from walking all day. She marched down the dusty road towards the tavern. She sat on an upturned crate neer the entrance and pondered whether to go in or not. The last thing she wanted to do was make friends that she had to eat. She smoothed her bodice and stared down at her outfit. Her long black shirt was unravelling and the hem of her skirt was brown with dirt. Her dress had definatly seen better days. She ignored the stares coming from people in the tavern and smoothed her ash-blonde hair. She walked to the back of the tavern and looked through the window, hoping no one would spot her spying.

[Fayne]

Fayne got up slowly, walking to the door of the tavern and sliding out. His hood covered his eyes enough that the sudden sun didn't bother his eyes. He jumped to the base of the stairs, landing in mud and almost losing his step. He looked around. Good, no one saw. Fayne walked to the edge of the tavern, his gaze catching a young lady staring in the back window. He raised an eyebrow and walked over to her.

Katie

I came to a shabby looking tavern that was literrally called 'Tavern' I ran inside to escape the rain. My midnight blue cloak and dress were already damp from running across the street in the rain. I walked in cheerily and was surprised to see only one lively table; the others looking grim and depressing. I immediately sat down at the cheery table, which included two darkly cloaked women and a rather handsome man wwere idlely chatting over their drinks.

"Hi, mind if I join?" I asked merrily.

"Sure, no problem," the guy said, flashing a grin at me. "I'm Daniel Redding. Who are you?"

"Oh, I'm Katie Greenwich," I said, removing my hood.

Sky

Sky froze. She saw the imposing figure coming towards her. Her grip on the window slackened and she backed up slowly. Her thoughts raced as she thought of running away and escaping what she knew could be dangerous, but this man intrigued her. She decided to stay at the window and wait for him. Her life had taught her to be wary, but as she was about leaving, he was already in front of her.

I smiled at Katie, taking a sip of my drink.

"Good to meet you," I said lightly. She nodded in response. I examined her quickly, memorizing her features and attempting to make a judgement.

They way her brown hair fell over her face, and the way she sat gave the impression that she might be a heart breaker. I shrugged of the idea though - it wasn't fair for me to assume poorly of her just yet.

"So, what brings you to the tavern this evening, Katie?" I asked conversationally, hoping for more than just a glance this time.

Daniel

"The rain, I thought I'd come in and stay dry and I'm glad I did now. What's your name?" Katie slipped her damp cloak off as if to back up her story and Daniel stood breifly to take it from her and drape it across a spare stool.

"Miss Isabella Milan," Isabella introduced herself, reaching across to shake the woman's hand as Daniel sat back down, between them. Katie smiled enigmatically and turned to the fourth person at the table.

"Call me Viper," she said in a sultry voice with a purple-lipped smile as she cocked her head and leaned closer, in a conspirational manner, as if to whisper a secret. And then she laughed, the sound bubbling out like a frothy venom.

"So what's with this place? I've never seen an emptier tavern and everyone looks so gloomy. Is it infected or something?" Katie joked. Daniel laughed along with her, as did the others, though less enthusiastically.

"This is the Tavern of adventure!" Daniel claimed. "But there's so few adventurous souls around these days that it's fast emptying out." He gestured about the room as if it were grand and his eyes seemed to drink in the cobwebbed windows with their cracked glass and patch-work curtains, the dirty tables with their drained, chestnut colour and the broken clock. His eyes seemed to see a different room and then he smiled and stood.

"Another round of drinks?" Daniel asked cheerily. "I'm parched and it's been a long time since I've had three such beautiful women for company."

"I'll help you carry them," Isabella offered, following him to the bar where they ordered three ales.

"What do you think of Viper?" Daniel asked as they waited for the drinks. Isabella started, shocked. And then she hesitantly asked:

"How do you mean?" She looked down, didn't want to see the look on his face but she had to. And when she did it was triumphant excitement that she found.

"Dark Drow," Daniel whispered with a wink. "Hides it well but that's for sure and maybe some troll blood too." Isabella let her breath go and smiled.

"Oh... is that all," she sounded relieved.

"I wonder what she's doing this far East," Daniel added. "But tell me about yourself. I'm sure you have an even more interesting tale to tell. Let me guess... lava elemental? No... wait... fire Nympth? Am I right?" They began to walk back to the table with Isabella walking slowly, as if reluctant to rejoin their previous company.

"Sort of," she replied with a small smile.

"I hope ale's alright. It's the only decent drink they sell here," Daniel announced in an apologetic tone, giving one of the glasses he held to Katie as he seated himself between her and Isabella who pushed the second glass she carried to Viper.

Chloe-

I watched as a group of three girls and a boy ordered more ale and chatted animatedly. You couldn't tell by my annoyed expression but I was jealous of them, barely knowing eachother yet falling together so easily. I rolled my map up and leaned back in my chair, thinking aobut where I would be if I wasn't here, what spells I would be casting. I sighed staring up at the ceiling.

Zack sighed as he walked out of the tavern. He was tired of listening to useless babble. His informant never showed and it was starting to really get on his nerves. He stood there a moment before movement caught his eye. He turned his head slightly to see what it was out of the corner of his eye. It was a woman dressed in black with white and red hair.

She looked at him and smiled, but he just scoffed and began walking away. "You got a problem with me or something?" She asked.

Zack looked back, "No, just don't have time for you."

"Are you suggesting I was... You monster!"

"If you know whats good for you I'd just forget it and leave."

"I'm not about to let some man walk all over me." He hand was then engulfed in flame.

"I see, an interesting power." He drew his sword, "But is it enough to stand up against my fathers sword, or are you a spoiled by yours?"

"Don't you dare speak of my father that way!" She yelled. Zack was barly able to dodge her attack and he looked at his shirt where it was burned. "I wont let you talk that way about him, he didn't spoil me, he taught me everything."

Zack brought up his sword, but it only took a part f the damage. He was sent flying back, but recover quickly. "You speak as if he was gone."

"So what!" She raised her hand again, but Zack had sheathed his sword, "Then we have something in common. My father was taken, yours killed. I'm sorry, but to meet someone like me is rare. Excuse me, at least let me buy you a drink."

(Sorry if it's long, but I needed a way to show their similar goals staing in their personalities.)
I will always fight back, no matter what.

[Fayne]

"You know, the view is far more intriguing inside. Don't worry, I won't harm you." Fayne said with a small laugh, the girls eyes open wide as she looked him up and down. She slowly started backing away from him, and Fayne shook his head, removing his hood. "Would you like a drink?" He asked as she inspected his ears.

"A Drow?" She asked. Fayne laughed and nodded.

"Well, I'm a sorceress and I'm just looking for my true love," I said comfortably.

"You mean a witch?" Venom asked raising her eyebrows.

"Witch sounds evil so I prefer to be called a sorceress. But yes."

"Can you prove it?" Isabella challenged politely.

"Sure," I said, taking a swig of my ale. I wiped the foam from my lip and got down on my hands on knees. My body became brown and furry, my face became pointy and my dark blue eyes became a liquid golden color. I backed out of my dress, now transformed into a fox.

Isabella and Daniel gaped and Venom watched with mild interest.

"There's your proof, Isabella," Daniel chuckled.

I quietly grabbed my clothes in my jaws and trotted into the restrooms. I came back in a few minutes as a human and dressed in my velvety midnight blue dress.

"So what are your quests?" I asked mildly and sitting back down.

Sky

Sky smiled shyly and nodded her head. This man put her at ease for some reason and it felt good not to be running away for once. She let him lead her into the dimly lit tavern. Her eyes immediatly drifted to the merry table towards the middle of the tavern, they looked as though they didn't have a care in the world. Sky sighed and followed the man with the dark cloak. She felt a sense of excitement and mystery in the air surrounding him. She pondered whether or not to read his mind or not.
He led her to a table right next to the merry ones.
"You reckon you're a good drinker?" He asked.
Sky smirked and flashed her fangs.
