Joseph Konner-
I leaned my head back on the seat and gripped the arm rests as the plane took off. I was holding my breath which really didn't matter but it was just off pattern. I let out the breath when we were finished taking off. I really hate flying.
"See that wasn't so bad." Jack said rumaging around underneath the seat. I relaxed a little when he pulled a leather bound book from below the seat, "What's this?"
"Something I thougt might be useful, but later." I took the book, the only one in the whole world like it, from Jack and set it on the seat on the other side of me, "So what are we going to do about this Alana situation?"
"Situation?" Jack raised his eyebrows at me.
"She can't fight with us, and if Gael gets a hold of her he could use her against us." I pointed out, not wanting this little voyage to get ruined.
"I'm sure everything will be fine, you worry too much." Jack patted my arm reassuringly then I caught his gaze. I tried to half smile then looked down at my shoes.
Jack St. John-
I teased Joseph about being so worried, but I was just as nerous on the inside. The whole trip was overwhelming.
Silent hours flew past as we journeyed. The $1000 a pane custom made, tinted windows came in handy as the sun began to rise. We were nearly there. I was starting to get anxious as familiar cities came into view.
Alana had nodded off into sleep a few times but as we approached London I told Drake to wake her up, so she could see. London was beautiful from the sky, more beautiful than most things anyways.
The helicopter landed on an airport landing strip, and Joseph had already arranged for a car to be there.
The ride to the mansion was almost nerve racking. It had been nearly four hundred years after all. We pulled up to the wrought iron gate too quickly I wasn't ready. As the car pulled to a stop we got out and quickly moved into the building, to avoid any damage the sun would do.
There was a young girl waiting inside wearing a floral printed dress. She couldn't have been older than 18. Her name was Danielle. Her mother, Ferra, was my great great great grand daughter. I had had a life before I was turned, a wife, a baby. The only way I could protect them was to leave them. But that was long ago.
"Hello, Mr. Konner?" She adressed Joseph but eyes me suspiciously, which made me more nervous. Joseph nodded and Danielle showed us to our rooms.
"We don't usually rent this place out to anyone, but you made an impecable offer for a few nights stay." She said as she led us down a hallway.
"I've heard a lot about this place," Joseph said, smiling wickedly. I nudged him in the side and threw him a look that said "don't push it."
I don't know if Joseph arranged it but Danielle showed me to my room last, and it was the same room I had grown up in. I cursed under my breath and threw my bags on the bed.
*Sorry I wanted to move things along, we'll all meet in the hall or something I think..that way we can figure out what is going on*
