Drake

I was falling asleep in her lap; her touch was so intoxicating, so mesmerizing... It was hard to resist the urge.

I barely nodded, closing my eyes as she continued to massage my head. I put my hand over one of hers, stroking the back of it tenderly. Her skin was like silk to my fingers, making me relax even more.

"I love you," I whispered before finally drifting off.

Alana:

Alana smiled, "I love you too, Drake." She breathed softly. She carefully lifted his head off her lap and closed the blinds tighter then organized a little. She sighed, it was getting brighter outside now. She walked towards the door grabbing her small purse with her money in it. She wrote a quick note:

Going to town, be back in an hour tops.
Love you!!!!!

Alana

She stuck it on the tv across from the couch and walked out onto the street. She smiled as she hummed watching the sun come up.

oops sorry guys

Gael-

He knew where they were staying, it was where they were headed right now, home. His no good brother, and that traitor Joseph had chosen their fortress well. He could never go back in, a sort of curse, but he could go around it.

They hadn't found any worthy side dishes last night for dinner and Gael was still hungry. A girl was leaving the mansion, all alone. Gael rolled the window down slightly, "That one." He said to the other.

With in seconds they had grabbed her and she was sitting bound and gagged across from Geal.

"Hello beautiful."

Jack St. John-

Jack walked into Joseph's room and found him laying on the bed, looking very distraught.

"Hello." Jack said, walking towards Joseph. Joseph sighed and sat up. He looked tired and hungry.

"Hi." Joseph replied. Jack couldn't supress a smile. He was having an even more hard time denying his feelings. But that couldn't happen now. Nothing could, they had a mission and things weren't going too well so far.

"Why don't we get out of here for a while." Jack said pulling Joseph onto his feet.

Alana:

Alana glared at the vampire in front of her. She could tell he was a vampire by his teeth.

"Why aren't you scared?" He laughed. She just glared. "Oh yes, the gag." He slipped it off her mouth as they drove down the road.

"You screwed up big time, taking me letch." She hissed.

"Harsh." He laughed. "But no, there is nothing you can do about it."

"You sure?" She cocked her head to the side. "Even if you kill me, they'll kill you, easy. Snatching people when it's daylight, that's just wrong."

"Says who?" He laughed.

"Says any decent vampire." She replied crossing her legs and glaring at him.

Gael-

"What makes you think I am a respectable vampire?" Gael asked wryly, looking out the window.

Alanna scoffed, "Come to think of it you don't resemble a vampire at all." Within seconds Gale's teeth were an inch away from Alanna's neck. He could hear he blood rushing though her veins, her heart rate increased as she realized how close he was.

"You have no idea how much like a vampire I can be," He growled, "You have no idea how bad I can hurt you or your precious breed. And you don't want to find out, believe me." A second later he was back in his seat, staring out the window.

Alana:

Alana laughed. "You couldn't hurt the breed if you wanted to. Your not the first that tried to harm them, and you probably won't be the last. They'll tear you apart." She smiled slightly leaning more against the seat. "Oh, and just to let you know, I'm not scared of you, go ahead and bite me, I don't care, Drake will tear you to little tiny bits."

Gael-

"You think I'm simply going to bite you, silly girl?" Gael replied. He laughed as the fear appeared in her eyes. He fell silent for the rest of the ride letting her mind mull over all of the things he could possible do to her. He was so looking forward to arriving at their destination. He wouldn't kill her, not for a long time. But she would wish she was dead.

Jack St. John-

"Let's get out of here." Jack said again tugging on Joseph.

"No, Jack, I'm tired." Joseph replied, he pulled away from Jack and turned to face the window. Jack walked towards him and rested his chin on Joseph's shoulder.

"Okay, let's stay here then. I'm just trying to find my friend, my Joseph again." Jack then wrapped his arms around Joseph's waist and shoulders and pulled Joseph closer. He could feel Joseph tense under his touch and although everything was telling him to pull away he couldn't.

Joseph relaxed and layed his head back against Jack. Jack couldn't refrain from smiling.

Joseph Konner-

Joseph tensed when Jack's arm's wrapped around him. He was nervous about how this was going. He didn't know what to think. He relaxed a little and leaned his head back, hoping for the best.

Jack pulled him even closer to him if that was possible. They stood there for a while before Jack moved away. Joseph sighed and turned to face Jack. He barely had time to look up before Jack had grabbed his face and was kissing him.

Gael-

"Screaming won't help you! No one can save you! Don't you understand you stupid stupid girl!?" Gael hit her with the back of his hand sending her flying across the dark, cold room. She wimpered and crumpled to the floor.

Her hands and feet were tied, and he was contemplating a gag. The screams didn't bother him, she was just wasting her energy and speeding up the process of dying. He wasn't ready to be done yet.

"They'll save me, they won't let you get away with this." She said between gasps. Gael's mouth twitched into a twisted smile.

"They havn't even noticed you're gone." He walked over to her and crouched down. He grabbed her by the hair and pulled her head back until she was looking him in the eyes, "All you are is a walking meal to them, don't you see? He doesn't love you, how could he? You're... human. That kind of love is impossible. You will never mean anything to him." He said the words with a kind of satisfaction, the tears she shed only increasing it.

Gael turned to the men at the door, "Show her to her room. Get her cleaned up. We want her to look nice and pretty for the party tonight."

*so, soembody should save her....lol*

Alana:

Alana let the tears fall as she was pulled out of the room. Was he right, did Drake really not love her, was she just going to be a snack in the end. No! Drake loves me! She screamed to herself. But she was a human, she wasn't a beautiful vampire. She was human, she would grow old and die and he would move on. A sob chocked at her throught. She wanted to hit that man for suggesting this, for making her doubt Drake. She let teh tears roll faster. She needed to think. Drake loved her, he said so, he wouldn't lie to her.

"All you are is a walking meal to them, don't you see? He doesn't love you, how could he? You're... human. That kind of love is impossible. You will never mean anything to him." The vampires words struck home. She always thought Drake was too good for her, was she right. Was she just a walking meal and Drake was waiting until she was no longer of any use to him. She let her knees buckle under her and the men just kept dragging her. Did he even care that she hadn't come back, did he know she even left!

Drake

I woke with a start. Something was wrong... Where was Alana?

I sat up; it was almost dusk, and I couldn't find her scent anywhere. She had been gone for too long, and had not checked in at all.

I stood up as someone knocked on the door. I could catch Tegan's scent, but it didn't register in my mind as anything familiar. I opened it, expecting something better.

"What's up? I just got in," he said, but I didn't hear him.

"Where's Alana? How long has she been gone?" I shoved past him.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Where is Alana?"

"I...I don't know. When did she leave?"

I had to remember. It was sun-up when I'd fallen asleep with my head in her lap...and it was sun-down right now. Shit! She'd been gone all day! Grocery shopping?

Of course not.

I pulled out my cell phone and hit her speed dial number. Please answer. Please.

Anyone mind if I come in late? If so I'm sorry...
I just need somebody to get me into the story somehow.
Name:Jocelyn Marie Rein
Race: vampire
Age:looks around 20

Background:She keeps to herself most of the time, normally only goes out at night. She lost her true love before she was changed, she suffers from the memory everyday of her life. Her emotions are fragile but, if anyone wants to try to break past the wall she's built maybe she'll let go of her love and fall into a deeper one. She's a night secretary at a hospital so she takes the blood packs that can't be used on patients. Jocelyn never feeds on human flesh, she has before though on her lover.
Appearance: http://fc69.deviantart.com/fs22/f/2007/331/5/8/581de2704d0e8ead.jpg She has vibrant red eyes but they turn a honey color after she's had blood. She's very petite, a good 5 foot one inches. Skinny and always wears elegant clothes.

Gael-

The cell phone in his pocket rang as he walked down the dark stone hallway. It had been on the girl, Alana's. The name on the screen showed up as Drake. Gael smiled and opened the phone,

"Hello dear." He said. There was silence on the other line and then it went dead. Gael slid the phone back in his pocket before going into his room. He changed into the suit laying on his bed. They would be at the house soon enough, he didn't stay somewhere hard to find. It would be a party after all.

Jack St. John-

Jack quickly realized what he was doing and pulled away from Joseph, "Oh God." He said turning away and covering his face with his hands. They didn't have much chance to talk because the door flew open. It was Drake, Teagan was standing behind him.

"He's got Alana." Drake said, looking pale and shaky.

Joseph seemed to recover quickly and said, "We'll meet you in the car." Jack stood unmoving. What had he done?

Joseph Konner-

Drake and Teagan left and he turned to Jack, "I-" but he didn't get much else out. Jack left the room quickly and slammed the door as he did. It was going to be a very awkward car ride.

***Wow, it's been a while. Let's revive this thing!***

Drake

I was livid. I was anxious. I was terrified. I was...I was what? I couldn't label my emotions, they were so eratic!

All I knew was that this was not the right time to mess with me. Mess with me or Alana, and die. End of story.

And Gael would get it good.

"Drake, we need to think about this," Tegan spoke carefully. "We can't just react blindly. They'll kill us all!"

"Shut up!" I snapped, slamming on the gas. The car took off down the drive, and we were on the road. We were flying.

"Drake, listen to me! You're not thinking!"

I ignored him. I knew what I was thinking: I had to get Alana. I had to save her. End of story.

*Gosh, I've been away so long I can't remember what's going on or who's who. Someone want to give me a quick explanation as to where my characters are, who Gael is and what we're all doing??? Then I'll join in*

***Yeah, it has been a while. Here's a summary of what's happened. Drake, Jack, and Joseph made a stunning discovery: Gael - the leader of bad guys - is trying to reawaken one of the oldest vampires (these Ancients are the most dangerous, blood thirsty, and murderous vampires around and are impossible to bring down easily). Drake then called Tegan to come help, and he brought Jenna with him. Right now, Drake, Tegan, Jack, and Joseph are going after Gael, who has kidnapped Alana. Jenna...let's put her in the back seat, with Tegan. lol ***
