I looked over at him again. "Nice to meet you Paul." I tapped my name tag, "You already know my name." He nodded. "Yeah, the sun has been really bright lately."
"It's not that enjoyable." He said, turning his bady towards me. I unconsiously closed my book and faced him, still sitting cross legged.
"It's too hot in my opinion." I liked talking to him, he had a easy voice. Still, deep down there was something but I ignored it just for this moment.

I smiled at Kyle and my brother, but frowned at Sybyla. There was something about how she looked at the moment that I didn't like.

Sybyla

"No," I said eager to dissappear for a minute. What the hell was I doing? "I'll get it, what would you like?"

"Coffee please."

I had to check myself to make sure I didn't run for it.
I just lost the game.

I laughed. "The nighttime just makes everything around me more comfortable. It gives me more security." She looked at me, as if to ask what I needed security for. "Although, I suppose my troubles with the sun are dealt with." I smirked, tapping my glasses.
Got YWS?

Tristan:

"Why are you looking at her like she is the weirdest thing on earth?" Tristan asked in a hush tone looking at Sybyla.

*I'm going to assume you mean Angel since Sybyla is now in the back slamming her head into random things she can find.*

Angel.

"I...she is the strangest thing I see." I said.

"Why?"

"I don't know her, and her hair is purple."

"I like it," Tristian said. I rolled my eyes.

"Of course you do."
I just lost the game.

"I like the night because, in my opinion, it's prettier than the day. The moon is inticing." I blushed at how flaky I sounded. I barely knew this guy and I was telling him what I liked about the night. I glanced over at him. "Sorry, I just think it's nicer at night."
"I agree with you." He told me.

***Ya,***

Tristan:

"So your not the least bit weird? Plus, I don't htink she is weird. I think she is very atractive and would like it if you wouldn't speak harshly about her."

"I wasnt!" I said, "I was just-" I leaned back against my chair and sighed. "Nevermind, my girl retarded brother wouldn't understand."

Kyle laughed half way though a drink.
I just lost the game.

What was wrong with this guy?

Everytime he saw me, he seemed to be stabbed in a most painful way, and the dagger was being twisted as well.

I wondered if there was anything I could do to help.

"Please, at least talk to me," I said softly, pulling the cloak I always wore over my head as we stepped into the moonlight.

The sun didn't burn too badly, and neither did the moon, but I prefered niether.

This covered my face, hopefully calming him down a bit.

Kyle:

Kyle swallowed then started coughing up a storm.

"Not cool, Kyle, your supposed to be on my side here!" Tristan laughed.

Kyle whiped his mouth "Sorry Tristian, but she's got a point. You are girl retarded."

I smiled and giggled.

"If you want to do something with this girl, you'll need her help."

"Angel, did you not just say that she was strange?"

"I said she looked strange, theres a difference."

Tristian sighed.
I just lost the game.

I kept my gaze forward, but I stopped nonetheless. She was willing to listen to me? That was a first...

And it was getting easier to understand.

"It's..." I began, not sure how to continue. "It's really hard...painful. I have nightmares, even two hundred years later..."

I somehow found the courage to turn around. A gasp escaped my lips when I saw that she had concealed her face. For me?

I swallowed. "And I've never...tried to talk about it, making it even more difficult."

"Perhaps..." I began slowly, hoping I wouldn't upset him again. "It would be easier, if you did talk about it," my voice was soft, hesitant.

I took a single step forward.

"Perhaps," he nodded slowly.

"I'll listen, if you like?"

I nodded, staring at the ground. The memories began coming back to me, drowning out the words I knew I was saying.

It was midnight. I was just returning from my council meeting in town, ready to return to my wife's side and check on her. Our child's birth was due any moment...

But the weather had my horse spooked.

He lunged, throwing me as something leapt out of the shadows, tackling me. I caught the distinct smell of blood and death.

Teeth sank into my neck, blood pouring from the wound and into this person's mouth. Yet, it wasn't over. Not even approaching death stopped the torture. The person split his wrist and held the wound to my mouth, forcing me to drink the salty, tangy, metallic liquid pouring out of the gash.

I recalled the intense pain, the insatiable thirst for more blood, and the blindingly sharper senses of my reborn body. Of my vampire.

I could smell Isabelle, not a mile away. I sped into the night, blind in my lust for blood...

My throat froze, then, and I closed my eyes against the images of Isabelle, my beloved, bloody and dying at my feet, by my hands...

"I killed her..." was all I could say.

I gasped, unsure of how to respond to this.

Part of me longed to reach out and hug him. The poor guy obviously needed it.

The other part was remembering how I had been changed. I pushed those memories aside, unwilling to dwell on them.

"Oh my," I said softly, stepping forward again.
