Annie

We sat there for the longest time, then a nurse came out. "Visiting hours are over."

Tears brimmed my eyes, I didn't want to go. "Please can I stay?"

She shook her head, "sorry, everybody has to go."

"Can't I stay the night?"

"Sorry."

I "helpped" Colt get back into his chair and went with him back to his room. "I'm sorry I have to go." I said.

He kissed me, "I'll think about you until you return."

I chuckled, "sleep some too."

I was ushered out the door by the nurse and caught the bus back to my apartment. I showered and once I had my pajama's on went to the kitchen to get something to eat, but as I crossed the living room I suddenly felt this insane drowsiness grasp me. I curled up on the floor of the livingroom with a shawl as a pillow and was gone.

Colt slept like a baby again, but this time he drempt about Annie and he remembered it. it was their wedding, but he was in a wheel chair. He woke up with a start and looked around. The nurse was checking his pulse and all. She smiled at him when she saw he was awake.

"That fiancee of yours is throwing a fit in the lobby about not caring about visiting hours. It starts in twenty minutes, but I dont think she wants to wait." The nurse smiled.

"Can't they be a little leniant?" He asked.

"No, but you can go out there, if someone was to get you a wheel chair." She smiled.

"Can you please get me one?" He asked.

"Sure, honey, hold on." She left bringing back a wheel chair. She helped him on the chair and he went towards the wiating room.

Annie

I was glaring at a doctor when Colt zoomed his chair into the lobby. "Colt!" I sqealed and ran over to him. "They wouldn't let me in."

Colt chuckled, "The nurse told me, so I came out here."

"Did you sleep well?"

"As well as can be expected without you." he said.

I sat down in a chair across from his and whispered in his ear, "I snuck you in a chocolate bar."

"And you wonder why I love you."

I smiled, my head started to feel a little light, but I simply blamed that on having not eaten in a few days, I hadn't eaten since Colt had come to the hospital. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," I assured him, "I just haven't eaten for a while."

He frowned, "why not?"

I waved it off, "I just haven't been thinking about it."

"Let's go to the cafeteria and get you something to eat then eh?"

"I'm fine."

"You aren't, you look like you're going to faint. And even so humor me please?"

I couldn't deny him.

Colt smiled as they moved slowly to the cafeteria and then got her and him some food. She ate her food with such amnosity that he knew she was overly starved.

"You should've eaten more." He scolded her. "Once I get out of here I don't need to worry abotu you getting sick." He smiled touching her cheek softly.

"Alright, fine."She smiled back at him before finishing hte last of his food that he couldn't eat.

"Now what do we do for the rest of teh day?" He smiled at her.

Annie

I finished chewing on my fry, "you should probably go back and lay in bed."

He scowled, "No."

"Come on," I said, "your legs will heal much faster if you stop straining them."

He admitted defeat there. "Fine. But you go take another apple."

I stood up and grabbed the apple before joining him on the way back to his room. "The doctor said earlier you'll be out next week."

"Good," he smiled, "but you have to promise to eat every day."

"I will."

Good." He smiled at her as he stopped by his ebd and lifted himself into it getting comfrotable.

"Better?" She asked sitting down next to him.

"Better, this whole wheel chair thing is kinda annoying." eh said as he rubbed his leg.

"IT'll be over soon, just don't strain it or it won't." She said brushing hair off his face then touching his cheek. "You need to shave."

"I know, but I dont' have a razor here." He smiled.

"I'll get you one." She smiled back. "You don't look good with a small beard."

Annie

He smiled rubbing his chin, "you don't like me being fuzzy?"

I made a comical face and shook my head, "not this level of fuzzy, its awkward."

"Wait until tomorrow," he said, "it won't be so awkward then."

I smiled and kissed him, "alright."

I wanted to go home, I felt that wave of dreariness wave over me and I desperately didn't want him to worry. He needed to focus on him getting better. I wasn't even all that sure that I was sick.

I sat down trying to keep it all together, I could hardly see or hear Colt. He was worried. "Annie? Annie?"

I fought against the darkness, and I won.

"Sorry," I said, "I'm just a bit tired."

"Maybe you should go home then, I'll be here tomorrow too."

"I don't want to leave," I protested, "but maybe it is a good idea."

"No maybe, it is."

"Call a cab. I don't want you driving when your so tired." He said touching her face and pulling it close to him kissing her softly.

"I'm fine to drive." She replied.

"Please." He begged.

"Fine." She sighed and stood up slowly.

"BE carefull, ok? I need you." He smiled at her. "Sleep all day and night and then come back. You should be better if you sleep that much. Maybe you should stay with Senra and Phil."

"No, I can stay at home." She replied.

"Whatever, but check in with her, ok?"

Annie

I nodded, "I'll call her when I'm in the cab." I kissed his forehead, "focus on getting yourself better okay? And call me if you need anything."

"I will."

I got into the cab and let them drive me home. I had to fight hard to maintain my conciousness while we were driving. The instant I got to my apartment I took a quick shower, put myself in my pajamas and laid down on my bed. I was asleep in the instant. completely forgetting to call Senra like I had promised.

The rest of hte day drug on for Colt. He fiddled wtiht he phone thinking about calling Senra, or not. He finally gave in.

"Hello?" Senra answered the phone.

"Did Annie call?" He asked.

"No, was she supposed to?"

"Yes, can you go check on her, please. She was supposed to call you." HE replied.

"I'll do that. YOu just get better, alright?"

"Alright."

'We'll take care of your girl while you do."

Appearance: silver blonde hair with yellow eyes. His right eye ius covered in a bandage to hide his blind eye


Personality: He has a passive attitude and mostly follows a monotonbous routine everyday. He wants this routine to be destroyed but cannot find the courage to do it.

Background: He is a childhood friend of a killer that is targetting drug addict. He once committed suicide but failed becasue he hated to be weak.

Phil

I looked at Senra when she hung up the phone, "what's wrong?"

"Something's up with Annie, she's sick or soemthing and won't admit to it."

"Colt ask us to go check on her?" I asked and stood up.

"Yeah, you don't mind do you?"

I kissed her forehead, "she's your firend and my friend's fience, I don't mind at all."

Senra:

Senra smiled and walked to the car with her little boy in her arms. She loved him, and PHil too. Phil made a great daddy. They got in teh car and drove over to Annie's house where Senra used her key to get in so she wouldnt wake up Annie by knocking if she was asleep. She looked around the house and then found Annie fast asleep.

"Let's get her a good dinner cooked up." She smiled at Phil going to the kitchen and whiping together some food ."Let her wake on her own though."

Annie

I heard voices outside my room, and I reconized them as Senra's and Phil's. I wanted to go out and join them but I didn't really have the urge. I couldn't get up. Both that I couldn't actually get up and that I didn't want to. I was so comfortable where I was.

But I was actually rather awake. I reached out slightly to grab the phone. I called the hospital and had them put me through to Colt's room. "Hi," I said drowsily.

"Hi hun," he said seeming to spark up once he realized it was me. "how'ya feeling?"

"I'm fine," I tried to assure him, "I was going to ask you that."

"I feel like I'm ready to go home."

I chuckled, "I am too," then I yawned of my not free will.

"Go back to sleep Annie," he ordered.

"I'm fine, but I'll humor you."

"Oh is Senra and Phil there?"

"They are, I don't know why they haven't woken me up yet."

"They're there to make sure you eat and sleep and all that."

I laughed, it was ridiculous I didn't need a babysitter, I didn't need two for that matter. "I'll go talk to them. I love you. Can hardly wait to see you walking in the door again."

"Can hardly wait to do it, love you too."

I hung up and went out to talk to the pair of them, they'd be forgiven if they brought Sam, I was a sucker for babies.
