"I don't see why not," I remarked, taking her hand in mine once more and lifting it up to my mouth. Before I kissed the back of her hand, I whispered. "I'm perfectly content with you."

Sean went amideiatly limp and fell asleep agenst one of the walls of the hall. A crew member huvered over her like an egel to prey. She looked so peaceful. The day had been long and trying.

Finally, I stood and stepped out into the hall. There, asleep, she sat. With a crewman hovering over her.
"Ahem," I called loudly, making him jump. Upon seeing me, he turned and strode quickly into his own barracks, leaving Sean alone.
Now that THAT is taken care of... I went to her, picked her up, and carried her into my room, laying her down on the bed. I sat there, watching her for the longest time. She was so beautiful, so peaceful...

I took a blanket and laid it over her before settling in beside her.

I rolled over so that I was facing her, and a smile crossed my lips as she snuggled into my chest. I put an arm over her, keeping her safe and warm as I once again was enchanted by her scent.
"Sleep well, Sean," was all I could whisper.

The next day came quickly and when Sean opened her eyes she blushed deeply.
"Sleep well?" Jake asked.
"Yes." she said pulling ths covers off her self. She got up and he followed. They went up to the crows nest. Nothing was to be done this day but to watch and look for the Crimson Tear. It hadn't showen up in days and neather had the other boat that she was informed of.
