The Faerie Court

Lilith~

Lilith smiled lightly and raked her fingers gently through Mimi's, no longer braided hair, attempting to calm her. She stood up, placing a hand on Mimi's head. "I've got to go talk to her Highness. I'll be right back," she smiled before walking swiftly down the hall and towards the ball room.

Once she got there she looked around, only to find the queen not in the room. She tapped a figety servant on the shoulder, making her jump. "Um, could you tell me where her Highness went?" Lilith asked.

"Horse riding," the servant replied before speeding off.

Lilith finally found the stables and grabbed a spare horse. She quickly mounted and began following a pair of hoof prints. After a few minutes she found the Queen. "Your majesty!" She called, trotting up to the Queen and smiling lightly. She bowed the best she could and looked the queen straight in the eyes.

"Would you mind if I brought my...sister here? Or if I'm not allowed to go get her do you think you could send her a message?" Lilith asked quickly, not even sure if the Queen understood her.

Faede-

My mare whinnied. The girl took a step back.

"Walk with me," I said, dismounting. "A sister?" I asked.

"Yes your majesty. If I am to stay here, I should like to have her with me."

We were in the apple grove. I plucked one.

"Come eat with me while we talk. You have not eaten since you arrived here, have you?"

She shook her head. "No, but-"

"In other words, you are free to leave. Why would you want to bring another in?"

Owen-

I laughed and tumbled through the air after her, before crouching tight and spinning to gain speed. I was level with Aurora and her horse. I wondered how far we were going, but I didn't tire easily.

Aurora:

I loved it. it was wonderful! Jumping was the most wonderful feeling in the world! I laughed loudly, forgetting almost completely about the sprite next to me. I knew, though, if I ran him too hard, he would get hurt. so, I pulled him up short, afraid of hurting my baby. So, I stopped. Owen stopped with me. I was ginning. For now, I was content. I wondered how long this mood would last.

Lilith~

Lilith sat down next to the queen, setting the apple on the lucious grass next to her. "Well, you see, my family is just a group of peasants that have lived together. I really find this place much better than my real life," she smiled softly. "I-I really would like to stay here...but I can't do that without her."

Faede-

"Is there any particular reason you want to stay?" I asked, knowing the answer. "Perhaps one of my courtiers has caught your eye?"

She blushed. "Something like that."

I stood up. "You may bring her. But I warn you, that you may not keep her by your side. We faeries last night, were robbed of two toys, we gave them to the changeling Kitty. Were one of them to bring another," I looked at her. "I should like a new changeling. Kitty is growing quickly."

"I-I"

"We will leave one of our own in her place, so that her, er, parents, will not worry," I said with a smile. "Look, here is Alea. You may leave." Lillith stood still, confused. I smiled at her again, then addressed Alea.

"I missed you last night," I told her, walking over. "Were you not in court?"

Owen-

"You're right," I said, planting my feet on the ground. "He's pretty fast."

"Faster than the wind," she said with a grin.

I bit my lip and painted a solemn expression on my face. "Aurora, I'm sorry about- last night..."

Lilith~

Lilith watched the queen walk away. How do I get back? She though, completely confused.

Aurora:

I stiffened. "Don't worry about it." I shrugged. "Besides, all those lovely fairies couldn't go without your company. It would be wrong of me to deprive them so." I said bitterly. "Hope you have a good day."

I spurred my horse and raced back to the palace. I stopped short when I saw the queen talking to another hand maiden.

Great, I thought. Wonder how long it takes before Owen hits on her?

Then I saw Lilith standing by herself, all alone.

"Hello Lilith. What's wrong?"

Lilith~

Lilith looked up, thankful for someone she could talk to. "I've got to get back to my home to get my sister...I'm coming back...I just don't know how," she confessed to Aurora, really stressing about the problem.

"Well, I was there, but I sat in the corner of the room." She blushed. "I was just watching the newcomers and such."

Aurora:

I laughed. "I'll get her. what does she look like? I need a distraction." I glared at Owen, who was looking between me and the other fairy at court. "Men." I muttered under my breath.

Lilith~

"She looks alot like me...blonde hair, dark blue eyes, but she's alot smaller. She wears a tattered dress alot and has a small scar on her cheek," Lilith said quickly, biting her lip.
