Ross looked up at the soul blader." Ross."
The other soul blader held out her hand," Saia." Ross shook it and looked up into the sky.

" What's a general's daughter doing here?" He said as he continued to to look up into the sky.
" I'm looking for another soul blader...Seen one lately?"

Ross shook his head.
" What are you doing here? Your obvousily not here just to chat."
Ross just shrugged his shoulder," Just looking for someone...they weren't here."

Vanell-

I whirled around to face her, "What do you mean "Glowing"?

"Um, exactly what I said, well maybe not. It's more like a greenish blue ghost that is intertwined with you." Sayla replied.

"Well thank you for the information but I don' believe in ghosts." I said.

[Sayla]

"Wait!" she shouted, grabbing his wrist and pulling his face close to hers. She examined his face. "You have the same eyes as me."

The statement threw him a little and she could tell. He blinked and pulled away from her grasp. "So?"

"So, you must be able to do what I can do."

He raised one eyebrow, "And what exactly can you do."

She lifted the necklace over her head and held it in her palm. Almost instantly, where the necklace had been, a strange three pointed blade lay in her palm.

"What is that?" He asked.

"This is a shuriken. And I know from the way you aren't surprised that you can do something too."

He shrugged. "What if I can?"

"Show me."

I sighed, letting Wyre come into my hands.

"Ha, I knew it!" Sayla exclaimed.

"Yes, your so smart." I said sarcastically.

She frowned a little at this but said, "Hey why don't you join me, it looks like you have nothing better to do."

I tried to control my temper but I couldn't stop myself from saying nastily, "I have much better things to do then going around and prying into peoples business."

She sat back, stunned a bit from my sudden outburst.

Then I calmed down enough to say, "Sorry, it's been a long day."

She shook her head, "No, It's I who should be sorry, it's just that I've been looking so long for someone that would help me, I just assumed that you were my lucky star."

"Let's start over again shall we." I said, "Hi my name's Vanell."

"And my name is Sayla, nice to meet you." she said putting a smile back on her face.

[Sayla]

He had a temper, but at least he understood he had hurt her feelings.

She grinned and pulled a package out of her pack. "Do you want something to eat? I only have a bit of bread and cheese left but you're welcome to have some."

He looked at the package suspiciously for a moment or two then sat down and took the package. "Just a little cheese I think."

She smiled. "I think I am going to get on with you." She thought to herself as he tucked into the chedder.

"So what's your story?" Sayla asked me.

Confused I asked, "What do you mean?"

"You know, just tell me a little about yourself." she replied.

"Well there's not much to tell, I've basically lived in this forest all my life."

"What about your parents?" she asked.

I shrugged, "They left me when I was four, and anyway these woods have cared for me more then my parents would have."

She looked at me strangely, "You've never wondered where they were?"

I shrugged again, "Why should I care about them, they never cared about me." I paused for a second and then asked, "So what about you?"

Suriyu-

These voices were really starting to disturb her, made her seem like she was crazy or something. Grasping her head in her hands she tried to shake the noise out of her mind.

'Raise us...' her eyes widened, she knew who was talking to her.

"Not right now..." she whispered to herself. She had to reach her destination and she had vowed only to use her powers for good.

'Suriyu where are we headed?' the voices asked her. She glared at the sky, 'Shut up unless you don't want to be let out ever again...'

Naomi~

Naomi stumbled out of her makeshift, straw bed, and walked out of the small cabin, rubbing her head. She had almost made it to the creek when something knocked her down. Naomi looked up and saw a boy with jet black hair and onyx eyes.

"Sorry," he mumbled and helped Naomi up, grabbing her ringless hand.

"No, it's my fault. Should've been watching where I was going," she laughed nervously. "So what's you name?"

[Sayla]

She shifted uncomefortably at this question, she knew he would ask her but she still wasn't quite sure what to say.

"Well. I knew my parents. Until about five years ago. I was out, I can't even remember what I was doing now, but I came back and my home, it wasn't there. Just charred old ruins and two black shapes lying just outside the door. I didn't need to stay to find out what they were. So I ran and Ihave been running ever since." She sighed at the end of her tale as though some great weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

He reached over. "I am sorry."

"No, no you shouldn't be. At least I knew my parents for a while."

She took a deep breath and he sat there for a second before breaking off a piece of cheese. "Do you want some?"

She smiled and nodded taking the lump of cheese, glad that he had broken the potential arkward silence which could have followed.

Ryder looked at the girl in front of him. "Names Ryder." He replied running a hand through his hair. He looked around, he needed to leave. It would be better to disappear then to get attached to anyone else when he would just have to leave soon anyways.

"Naomi," she replied. The guy looked around a little nervously. "Wait, you're a fellow blader, correct?"

Ryder looked at Naomi and nodded slowly. "Yes, there something wrong with that?" He hated the harshness in his voice, but least way she wouldn't want to talk for much longer.
