Lost and Found

Trinity---

Trinity nodded, she stood up and looked around. "Can I go pick flowers?" She asked,

"Quickly, and don't go to sleep. If you see anything scream." COlt smiled, she nodded and scambered off.


Colt---

"Do you really think that was such a good idea?" Inez asked,

"she'll be fine." He smiled.

Inez

I smiled and watched her go, still slightly worried about her. "I hope she doesn't get into trouble." Suddenly he was there his face right next to mine. As if his self control had just snapped. Did I really affect him so? I did-

My thought broke off when he kissed me.

Colt---

Colt didn't know where the urge came to kiss her, but the next thing he knew he was. He wround his arms around her shoulders and pulled her close. When he pulled away he could feel his cheeks burning. "SOrry." He muttered,


Trinity---

Trintiy picked every color flower she could find. She wanted to make a crown for Miss Inez. She looked like a queen so she needed a crown like one.

Inez

My self control had evaporated a good twenty seconds ago. Instead of responding to his words I kissed him. I couldn't remember the last time I had been the one kissing someone. I wouldn't even have been able to remember the last time I had been kissed if it wasn't for him.

All of that was a lifetime ago, and at the moment. I couldn't even remember which.

Colt---

Colt felt his heart sore as he wrapped his arms aorund her again pulling her close. He was almost breathless when they pulled apart.

Inez

I pressed a hand to my chest, trying to catch my breath. I looked at him, our eyes met, our gazes locked. It was intense enough to make the world spin around me. I laid my head on his chest and sighed.

Colt--

Colt rested his head on top of her's and sighed. He felt like nothing was wrong. He turned hte meat with his free hand stroking her hair with his other.

Trinity---

Trinity ran back to where the adults were and saw Miss Inez resting her head on Mr. Colt's shoulder. She sat down next to the fire and started arranging the flowers so she could tie them together and make a crown.

Inez

I saw Trinity out of the corner of my eye, I eased away from Colt, he looked disappointed at first but I took his chin and turned it towards Trinity. The disappointed look vanished.

"Whatcha makin there?" he asked picking up a flower.

"You'll see."

Colt---

Colt tucked the flower behind Inez's ear and smiled, "A pretty flower for a pretty girl." He smiled,



Trinity---

Trinity quickly tied stem after stem together and smiled. It was done. She stood up and walked over to Inez and put the crown on her head.

"Now you have a pretty crown." Trinity grinned.

Inez

I took the crown off my head to examine it, it was surprisingly good work for a ten year old, everything looked sturdy.

"Thank you Trinity," I said putting it back on my head. I took the flower out from behind my ear and tucked it behind hers. "There, now you have one too...sorta."

Trinity---

Trinity smiled and laid down a few feet away from teh flowers looking up at the sky.


Colt---

Colt smiled at Inez as Trinity laid down. "THose flowers really make your eyes stand out." He smiled tracing her jaw with his finger.

Inez

Goose-bumps followed his fingers as he traced my jaw. My ability to speak suddenly vanished. He seemed to enjoy that. He kissed my forehead, just below the flowers.

Colt---

Colt slowly kissed her eye lids then the tip of her nose stopping at her lips. He kissed them softly skimming his lips over hers. It was amazing how he felt when they touched, even if it was just the brush of the hand.

Inez

I pretty much evaporated this time we touched. It was an amazing feeling, something I'd never quite acheived before. I loved it. When we heard Trinity giggle we parted, but his hand still held tight to mine, and the sensations of being near him helpped so much.

Colt----


Colt looked over at Trinity who was leaning on her elbows watching them. She turned a deep red when she saw them watching her and she rolled back on her stomach looking back up. Colt chuckled and looked at the meat. "It's almost done."
