Colt followed her smiling, "Now that isn't to say we might hit some rough patches, that is to be expected when you are running from someone. But it will all be good in the end." He smiled pulling her into a hug. "And if you ever want anything, to talk to anyone or anything just find me. Ok?"

Personality: Cheerful, wants peace obove all else, Likes to be a follower,

Side: going to help find the escapees(you'll see)

Special Traits: Can convert the suns energy and electrical energy into my own.

{Reed}

I was gliding on an air current thinking about the mutants I had seen flying off earlier that day when I heard some of the whitecoats calling to me. I slowly floated down to them and asked, "What's up?". "Did you see those mutants flying of away earlier? Well we need you to get them back." one of the Whitecoats replied. "Why?" I asked, "Until you sent those erasers after them they looked pretty happy." "Because, without us they'll die out there. They have no food, no experience, not to mention they don't have their medication. You're their only hope!" "But can’t you just send you're erasers after them?" I asked. "You saw how they reacted to them, but they'll treat you as one of their own. Please, for their sakes!"

Fifteen minutes later I was flying at the runaway mutants last known location with a tiny tracking device behind my right ear.

*hey firestar, your ability sounds pretty similar to mine, is that okay?*

*Actually, I have an idea...*

(ZT)

"Oh," Mayze replied. "Back at the School, the whitecoats tortured all of us. And then they'd bandage us up so that they could torture us more. I studied mine one time, and decided that what I gave you would be the best thing I could get."

"How'd you know the bark was bad?" I asked.

"Instinct."

I realized how selfish I had been for thinking I was the only one who had felt pain. They had probably tortured the older experiments more. And I hated the whitecoats more at the thought of them attacking Mayze.

It went silent again.

I did the first thing that I could think of.

I reached out and draped my wing over her shoulder, like she had done when we first met. I put my hand on the ground so that it was barely brushing hers... and then I hoped.

I kept myself from blushing, but my heart pounded. What would she do? Would she hate me for it?

For the first time in a while, I blushed. I took his hand and leaned against his shoulder. The wind around us was going crazy.

"Stop that." I whispered.

ZT leaned back a bit to look at me. I grinned and pointed at my eyes with my free hand, "I can see the wind currents. They're going crazy at the moment."

ZT raised an eyebrow, "Because...?"

"Emotion. When humans are around they react according to emotion."

ZT turned his head away to look at the place around us. Maybe he was wondering what it was like to see the wind.

I took my head off his shoulder to look at him, "I switch my eyes so they can see the wind. It's almost like golden thread. It floats around in the direction of the nearest human. It the person is mad or tense it floats away. The wind doesn't like bad people."

"Interesting. That must be pretty cool to see."

I nodded. A yawn escaped from my mouth, "Is it ok if I sleep?"

ZT smiled down at me, "Sure."

I put my head back onto his shoulder. I felt his wing tighten around me as I drifted off into the darkness.

They're somewhat similar, but from what I saw you can create electricity out of thin air (is that correct). I can only take the energy that’s already there and make it into my own.

(Rose)

Rose was finally perking up a bit after Colt's reassuring words. She stood up and brushed any stray mud off her back. She was hungry and sure everyone else was too. Between the trees were great bushes of fruits and she had seen quite a few animals darting away. Rose wanted to go hunting.

She knew she would need help. She ran out of the clearing to where she could see ZT. He looked quite strong. she couldn't see his face as she walked over because of his wings.
"Do you want to go hunting?" she asked loudly.
ZT's wing dropped to look at Rose. He had his fingers pressed aganist his lips. Mayze was resting on his shoulder, sleeping. Rose left them and came back into the clearing. People were lounging aganist trees, still talking.
"Can we collect some food?" she asked.
Her stomach rumbled as she spoke. She waited hopefully for someone to agree.

*its more like she generates it herself, but at an extremely high voltage. like an electric eel. though it does help if there's electricity around her*

Kei-

She jumped and smiled at Rose. "That sounds like a good idea. The last thing I had to eat was a chocolate bar I stole from an eraser.

*sorry all I got*

Reed-

I slowly circle over the runaways camp. It took my breath away, there were so many of them, I didn't know if I could trick them all, but I had to try. I prepared to land, it was showtime.

(sorry about it being so short, I have to go somwhere real soon.)

(ZT)

I had never been this happy before in my life. Heck, I hadn't really ever been happy in my life until now. I looked down at Mayze, her hair spilling over my shoulder, and I smiled. She looked so beautiful, and peaceful.

I wished that the moment would never end.

(ZT)

I noticed a few others leaving, and when I asked they told me they were going hunting. Well, maybe not hunting, but at least to get food.

It sounded like fun... but there wasn't a chance that I would leave where I was now... I never would've, if I'd had a choice.

(Rose)

Rose had persuaded Colt to help and Kei was up for hunting. Rose thought it was easy to find food. Just outside the clearing was a bush full of fresh blackberries.
"What are we going to collect everything in?" Rose asked uncertainly.
Kei brandished a basket of woven twigs. Rose smiled and reached out to feel it before loading a handful of berries into it.
"Where did you get that from?" Colt asked.
"I made it earlier," Kei replied simply.
Once a quarter of the basket had been filled with blackberries they moved deeper into the woods. Rose licked the juice of her hand happily and skipped over the moss covered ground. Birds chirped above them. Colt motioned for the girls to stop. He pointed past Rose's head to a large rabbit. Rose gasped. she had never seen a rabbit before. Kei and Colt both stoop and crept foward. Colt drew a sharpened stone from his pocket and aimed. In one swift move he shot towards the rabbit. The rabbit bounded away and Colt returned.
"It would have tasted horrible anyway." Rose mumbled.

She wrinkled her nose to emphasize. In the silence she could hear everything. Colt and Kei kept an eye out for more fruit or another animal while Rose hung behind, not as keen on hunting anymore. Suddenly a noise alerted her to the trees behind. What sounded like a pair of wings swished down.
"What was that?" She whispered uncertainly.
she took a few steps back and searched around nervously. Colt and Kei looked through the trees but couldn't see anything.
"It was probably just a bird," Kei muttered.

They listened for another sound. What they didn't expect to hear was a series of startled gasps. Rose frowned and stood on tiptoe to try and see the clearing. She knew something must have landed in the clearing.

Reed-

I felt so stupid and angry at myself as I settled down in the clearing. My landing was clumsy enough to attract everyone for a square mile. I felt like kicking myself for it, but I forced myself to calm down. "Stop exaggerating!" I told myself. The startled gasps in the clearing told me that I had attracted their attention at least, but I probably didn't startle people a mile away. I ran quickly through the story the whitecoats had given me, as I already heard some whispering about my arrival.

"Who is he?"

"I didn't see him traveling with us!"

Though there was a reason to be, I didn’t feel nervous, I felt downright scared. My mind subconsciously started running through worst case scenarios. What if they kill me! What if they pull me apart limb by limb! Calm down! I almost shouted. There's no reason why they should do that. But suddenly I wasn't so sure.
