Is it alright if you write in first person, but are careful not to control others characters? Because i can't write in third person for crap...

Robin's heart was about to explode from his chest. Suddenly he wished he were not so tall, feeling like he was more of a target than he needed to be. Instinctively, his hand closed protectively around the cross at is neck and he sighed.

As the Aedomir called everyone to arms, he hurried to put out the fire. The last thing anyone needed was for their camp to catch fire and burn along with all their possessions while they were fighting. As it was, the fight would be in close quarters.

Suddenly Ben clapped him on the shoulder, sending him stambling forward. He looked at the big man and smiled weakly. "You'll like this boy. And when it's all over, you can clean Gelda here." Ben said, swinging a heavy mace in his hand. Robin paled, imagining blood on the spikes of the weapon.

The things he did for family. He clutched the cross still, hoping his brother remembered what he was doing for him. As the enemy closed in on them and Aedomir charged, Robin drew his sword, feeling the weight of the beautiful blade weigh heavily in his hand.

"I'll survive. I promise," he swore. If Ben was suprised to see the clumsy boy he'd made his personal servant appear from nowhere and cut down the enemy that had nearly taken him by surprise he was much too busy to show it.

(Sorry about the Ben guy, he's part of my character's personal plot and he MUST die. Everyone is going to die 'cept our ppl, right? :D If so, this works awesomely well for me. XD I won't start mentioning other people's characters in my posts until they've posted at least once, also. =P That way I get to see how they see them before I go and mess with anything by accident. )

Aedomir's strides speeded up. His heart pounded heavily against his chest and his blood raced through his veins. The blur of goblins closed in, their foul stenches meeting Aedomir head on. His arm tensed for the clash.

Three. Two. One.

He lashed his sword with a sudden swipe, knocking back a goblin. It tumbled back and hit another's legs. Aedomir felt a scimitar whoosh past his cheeks. His knuckles swept around and blustered into a second goblin. With a duck he turned and lashed his sword from behind.

As Robin ran towards the first Goblin that was sneaking up behind Ben, his manner changed. By the time his sword cut through the screaming creature, he was transformed from a clumsy youth to a decently trained swordsman. Though he was weak and forced to wield the sword with both hands, his form was that of someone who had been drilled until it was natural.

Automatically he blocked and parried, his body shifting constantly to keep his back away from the goblins. He did not flinch when he felt an axe blade bite into his skin, instead shifting his grip to swing the blade around, slicing into the belly of the goblin before him as it came around and decapitated the one who had tried to take his limb.

The effort, one he was no longer accustomed to, was already draining him, but he showed no signs of tiring other than the sweat quickly accumulating on his skin. He would have to be careful or his grip would slip.

**There has to be a better way to do this good bad thing. The colors are killing my eyes. Perhaps whenever we post, we put our characters name, and then their alliance (as I did below), then leave the color as white, as usual.**

Bella-Good-

I joined the battle quickly when no one was paying attention. The men still weren't used to my presense, so I tried to stay out of sight as much as possible. Their staring wasn't appreciated either.

A goblin ran at me, and I easily jumped over him, spinning around in midair so that I was facing him. He stared at me, surprised. Before he had chance to recover, my dagger had pierced through his heart, killing him.

I looked around, and noticed someone in a nearby tree. He didn't look to be on our alliance, which meant my first instinct should have been to kill him. But instead, I met his gaze. Had he been watching me?

His eyes were steely grey, none too friendly -- his hair black as coal. Part of me urged to reach out and touch him, but another part warned me to stay away...

OOC: Hmmm. How's about when it's the good guys, you put the character name in blue at the beginning (like you do for Bella), and if you're a bad guy you put the name in red. And if during the same post you interact with a PC of the oposing side, you post your name again but in green so people know to pay close attention to see who you interacted with.

Robin
Robin could see the blood running down his arm and mixing with the blood on his sword, yet is mind did not seem to absorb the information. Again, he shifted his stance and attacked. He was beginning to throw his entire weight behind his attacks, the strain of the fight taking it's toll. Had he not been in the zone in his mind where nothing but the promise mattered, he would have collapsed to the ground long before.

My computer is being stupid and not letting me add color. I'll bold and underline my names. I apologize.

Thyme-

I surveyed the battle grimly, not even bothering to lift a finger. None of the enemy had sensed my presence as of yet, of which i couldn't help feeling relieved. The last thing i needed was more trouble.

And, of course, as soon as i thought this a felt someone watching me. I looked up and caught the gaze of a girl who stood near the outskirts of the battle. I stared silently back, contemplating what to do.

Bella -- Good --

I watched the sorcerer, trying to think of something to do. I could attack him, but chances are that would mean death. Instead, I planned my stealthy appearance.

I allowed myself to disappear from battle, reappearing in the tree, just a few feet behind the man.

"Hello," I said kindly, waiting for him to reply.

I didn't turn at hearing the girl's voice behind me. I pretended to be more interested in the battle.

"You're one of the enemy." i stated matter-of-factly. It was then that i turned my head a fraction, regarding her coldly. "I
could kill you for that."

~Urkla vs Aedomir~

Urkla carried his weight up the mountainside, hundreds of Goblins leaping savagley behind him. The exiles were scattered into afrenzies of one-on-one combats. There, in the core of the group, was the leader. Urkla scurried towards him, pushing down a filthy elf in the process. "You! Come 'ere!" Urkla snorted above the jeering. The leader of the outlaws cast a swift glance in his direction.

Aedomir saw him. He had a huge build, muscles the size of an ox. Aedomir managed to risk a look around the summit. The battle turned further ill by the moment. Barely five men had been lost he guessed, but Aedomir's arm grew heavy. He lifted his blade and ran towards the troll.

(someone else can control Urkla until Aedomir kills him if they want)
