When I go to my profile and select 'normal veiw' for my portfolio, I get the following message:

Not Found

The requested URL /member2617.html&v=1 was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 PHP/5.2.8 Server at http://www.youngwriterssociety.com Port 80

On Vista, using the latest firefox. :0)

I figured I should start listing bugs on this thread...

When you select a previous page on somebody's guestbook, you get a message saying "the selected forum does not exist."

EDIT- I just discovered I can access the Moderator Control Panel on any member. I hit "View User Notes" next to "Warnings" on a person's profile and I saw the notes and just about everything else on the Moderator panel. I didn't explore those features to see if I could do any of them, but I could see the whole panel.

Some Chat-related stuff:

-Whenever I try to go to a member's YWS profile, it says 404 Not Found...

-Also, this might just be me, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it, but I'm on a UK keyboard but whenever I press shift and 2 I get an @ sign when I should get speech marks, and whenever I try to get an @ sign by using shift and apostrophe I get speech marks. And whenever I press equals I get a plus sign. I'm told that's the American keyboard, and while mine seems to work fine everywhere else, it's just on Chat. Someone suggested my Chat was on American Keyboard Settings or something. But I asked Matt B. and she doesn't seem to have the same problem even though she's on a UK keyboard too. So it's probably just me. Just thought I would mention it.

Other than that, loving the new site!

I;m not sure if anyone else has said something about this, but I have not been getting ANY e-mail notifications when topics I am watching reply. I have tried unsubscribing ans re-subscribing, but that hasn't seemed to work.

Any suggestions?

Hi. I can't log in to YWS through the main page-it says there's an error when I just go to youngwriterssociety.com-I can only get in by going to a specific part of the site. Sorry for explaining this poorly...

I have the same problem as Jasmine Hart. I can only access YWS by going onto a specific part of the website, the homepage doesn't seem to work.

Guys, you've got to spend more time explaining. I can't help you unless you bother to spend more than thirty seconds reporting the problem. I want to help you, but you're keeping that from happening! :)

Tell me exactly what happens in excruciating detail. What do you mean you can't login on the front page? Can you view the front page? Can you pull down the login tab (the black tab up at the very top)? Do you get the error after you try logging in that way? What does the error say (word for word)? What page do you use to login?

You have to explain.

I'm so sorry Nate!
When I try to access the homepage, the page simply says:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Data too long for column 'brwsr_uagent' at row 1 [1406]

However, I can access the website through any other page, for example, the community forums, or a specific post, etc etc. It's just the main home page that won't work for me.

I hope that was a little more helpful. :)

Awesome! Thanks Swottie, I know exactly how to fix that :P

It'll take me about 30 minutes to fix, so if you still get the error after that time, let me know.

EDIT
Okay, it should be fine now.

Hi Lee!

About five minutes ago (5pm EST, Australia), I attempted to open a folder on my profile (looking at it from the "normal" view) and I received a delightful error message;

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND t.forum_id = f.forum_id AND t.topic_noappear != 1 ORDER BY t.top' at line 20 [1064]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: webmaster@youngwriterssociety.com

I've used this before and not seen this particular error, so I refreshed my page and cleared the browser before trying again, I received the error each time. I use Firefox 3.0.

Hi again, Lee!

Today the Message Centre keeps telling me I have one unread message, but every time I click on the message (It's one about the chat from you? I feel like I've read it before, because it says it's from the 25 of August.)I'm unable to actually see the message. It says it's starting to load, and I hear a click indicating the page has switched, but it stays on my inbox. If I try and open it in a new page, it opens to the inbox. I've cleared my cache again, but no luck.

Again, I'm using Firefox 3.0 and it's about 6pm EST Australia now.

*Hearts* Le Penguin.
