There are a group of young adults 20-25. They all have certain powers, they are mythical creatures to put it correctly. A group of scientest found them and were trying to do tests on them. A few of them were given shots that acctually gave them the powers of others so a few of them have more then one mythical trait. But don't everyone do that. They have escaped they all did it together. We can start on the escape. Now, you can make whatever you want to, but only a few of you can be multiple things.

Race: Angel/Shape shifter/Animal comunicator (She talks to animals )
Personality: Quiet, she never talks, She wants to connect with others but she is scared. She has always been with the scientists. They didn't start getting others until she was 20.
History: Kidnapped when she was 3, been at the labs ever sense, she is their 'pet'
Other: She's up for fallin in love , She is scared of others, and of men because the scientist that always gave her a shot or anythign that hurt her was a male.

this looks interesting but what types of powers and species? how did they get to be how they are? and is it just any species that we want to be? could we copy an idea from a book?

Yes, you make up your own species and it can be from a book. Anything you want to come up with but it can't be a God-character, and they were just born that way.


Oh the reason it is called pretenders is because they have to pretend they are normal but still stick together and keep away from 'The Center' which is the group of scientist.

No, I've never read the book actually, I have wanted to. I kinda got it from The Pretender series, an old tv show, and then added to it, ALOT.

Unless your a scientist or one of the people they meet outside of The Center, yes.

Race: Boneman/Avian (Meaning he can manipulate bones. Break them, heal them, he can do it. He also has wings.)

Personality: He is cocky, witty, spiteful, intelligent, and a trouble-maker. He hated the scientists and would always hurt them if they came near them...if they didn't hurt him first. He is not violent by nature, but if struck first he will react with a raging temper brought on my the scientists. He can seem dark at times, but he is normally just a cocky show-off out to make mischief.
History: He was captured by the scientists when he was almost 20 and tortured with shots and tests ever since.
Other: He's up for grabs relationship-wise. No, he doesn't have the scythe in the picture, but does have the scars.

Name: Storm

Age: 20

Gender: female

Picture: I dont have one so is it ok if i just like describe her? k good. Tall for her age, about 6 ft, dark blueish black eyes, pale face with angular features, long black hair, thin but muscular, sort of a feral, wild look about her, 14 ft wingspan which folds into her back like in maximum ride, wings are dark blackish with speckled grey spots and a purple sheen to them and are incredibly soft and slick.

Race: mostly human

Power(s)/Special Ability(s): well she has wings (sorta like in maximum ride, yes) so she can fly obviously, night vision, and she can control the weather to some degree(hence the name) but cannot completely change it (ex. cant turn a sunny day into a rainy one without using a ton of energy)

Personality: Mysterious, impassive, secluded, rebellious, kind of pissed off at the world, quiet. To people she is close with she can be sarcastic and a little less... closed off. Extremely stubborn and determined.

History: She doesn't know much about how she was created which bugs her to no end but spent most of her life in the Center, being tested upon.

Other: absolutely loves flying, determined to stay physically fit if it helps her get out of the Center, also cool with a relationship but it might take a while.

Name~ Bella

Age~ 21

Race/Species~ Faery (wings, a certain degree of magic, ability to glamour herself and others, etc.)

Appearance~ when she looks like a Faery, she has long, blue hair (see the true blue background). Her wings are blue as well,only a shade darker then her hair. Her eyes are also blue, with black tints. Her clothes usually look rather tattered, and are usually a light shade of blue, or black. As a human (with glamour) she looks very different. Her hair is bright red (orange look, but she's called a redhead), and her eyes are dark brown. Her clothes vary, but she prefers jeans and a hoodie.

Personality~ Is very sarcastic, most of the time. Loves meeting new people, apart from the scientists, who she hates with a passion. Loves getting other people in trouble, but doesn't like to be the one in trouble. Trust too easily, and usually ends up hurt because of it.

History~ Was born as a Faery, although she is unsure of how. She thinks she might be a changeling (Faery baby left in place of a human baby, who is taken to be a servant/plaything for hte Faeries). The scientists found and took her at age 17, when she realized she had these "talents". She has been stuck in The Center ever since.

Other~ Bella usually ends up hurt because she loves people who don't love her, but she's still hoping to find the right guy soon.

Name: Callana (Lana)

Age: 19. The scientists too her in a bit early. Her birthday is in a week.

Gender: Female

Ability: Telepathy. Lana's telepathy is a bit different from the normal version. She can do the basics without much energy, talk to those she chooses through their minds, move objects. The difference between her and the classical version is that she can call upon spirits to her aid. They might not always listen but she has friends in 'high' places.

Personality: Lana is a cocky joker. She thinks and acts like an adult one minute and fools around and plays like a child the next. She likes patterns and symmetry for some odd reason. Lana lies a lot to the Center scientists and is always loyal and honest to her fellow comrades. She hates being a labrat and hopes to scape one day. She has an excellent memory.

History: Lana lived a normal life, only using her powers when she was alone, until she was kidnapped by the Center scientists. Her parents think Lana ran away three months ago. They gave up the search a bit later. She's now in the Center like many others.

Tylana-

Tylana's head was foggy. She slowly blinked her eyes open and nearly gasped. She was in the metal chair again, the torture chair as she liked to call it. Her arms were strapped to the table along with her legs. She struggled against the confines of the chair, which was really more like a table, but couldn't get free.

"Stop stuggling, you know you wont get out." She heard the harsh words of one of the scientests. She froze as he stepped over next to her right arm a needle in his hand. She tried pulling free but she couldn't. He slowly stuck the needle in her arm releasing the contents. Pain spread out through her body as the liquid did and she bit back a scream. A door flew open and one of her female scientest barged in.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" She demanded, "You said you weren't going to do this to her anymore, you've already added one thing what did you do this time?"

"She will be able to shapeshift if this works as well as I believe it will. Now you can take her to the containment room." he said leaving. Tylana's eyes slowly started to close, she 'woke' up in one of the containment containers. They were tall cilinder containers with a green liquid. There was a mask over her mouth allowing her to feed. It kept her calm enough to keep from breaking free. She was held by a metal claw on her torso to keep her from sinking and her normal dress was on now fully stuck to her skin. She could see other containers but if there was someone in them she couldn't tell.

"Ok, Callana. Let's try this again."

Lana stood in a testing room, she started sweating five minutes ago and they still persisted she moved more objects. A woman with glasses and a white lab coat set a thirty pound weight on a table on the other side of the room. Lana stood next to a target on the other side. The woman quickly moved away and told Lana to go.

Lana breathed deeply as she let her anger out. It coursed throughout her body and focused on the weight.

"Rise!" she barked out.

The weight started to lift as Lana's muscles tensed. The weight moved a foot off the table and steadied itself. Lana focused on the weight and held her arms out.

"Uh uh." Lana heard a voice next to her say. She lost concentration and dropped the weight onto the table.

Lana whipped around to see the woman with the glasses standing next to her. She shook her head, "Try to do it without moving your arms."

Lana had had enough, "I can't, you bitch! Five hours and I can only move it when I move, don't you understand?! Stupid woman! And they say they hire people with high intelligence here. A monkey could figure that out after the first hour. You, stupid insolent...you call yourself a scientist!?"

The woman's eyes seemed to form an edge to them but the rest of her stayed calm. Lana roared as an invisible binding gripped her. The woman smiled coolly, "Do you know why I am your new instructor, Callana?"

Lana jerked violently, her teeth searched for something to bite. The woman laughed. Lana paused slightly only to call out, "Nina!"

The air next to the woman started to shimmer. Beside her appeared a Hispanic girl around the same age as Lana.

"She's not going to the let you go." Nina told Lana, "She wants you to throw the weight at her. Then she'll let you go."

You know i can't throw things without moving my arm.

"Then I shall help you."

The weight moved and floated into the air. Nina followed it with her eyes until it made contact with the womans chest. The weight threw her back and she lost grip on Lana. Lana fell to the floor and quickly stood. Nina started to fade, "Don't call me again. I used all of my power." And disappeared.

The scientist stood, "Take her to the holding tubes!"

And that was the last thing Lana heard for a while.

Name= The doctors like to call her Kira (kee-rah) which she refuses to answer to but her name used to be Amber.

Age= 23

Race= Wraith

Ability= Originally she had no solid form and could move through walls and between the spirit realm and that of the living. Now she has been grounded. The scientists were able to trap her with an electro-magnetic field and they filled the room she was in with a special gas that has permanently prevented her from being able to journey to the spirit realm. A side effect of this is that she can touch things; she has a limited physical form. If she concentrates, she can make physical contact with another person or object.

Personality= Sad and angry. When alive, when her name was Amber, she was a happy young girl but she was brutally murdered by her brother and returned as a wraith, seeking revenge. Before she had a chance to claim this revenge, she was discovered and trapped by the scientists. That was almost a year ago.
