"Its impossible. How could you love someone who was rejected by his warrior ancestors?" He asked. He jumped down from the boulder and sat next to Fadalia. He licked her shoulder.
"I do love you too...but my ancestors..." He trailed off.

They made their way back to the camp. Once they got there, Lanis sat with a piece of prey, expecting Fadalia to probably call a pack meeting.

Fadalia came over to sit next to Lanis, "Lanis, dear... I don't think we should tell the pack until you have befriended them again." she said, "The gods don't seem very happy either, you should prove your loyalty somehow and then the pack will truly accept you as their alpha." She smiled and looked into his eyes.
Grace snatched the herb out of the ground and trotted back to camp and into Luin's den. She dropped the herbs in front of the sleeping wolf and walked back out.
He nodded to Fadalia and continued eating his rabbit.
(Night now) Loud barks and cries came from everywhere. Lightning threw itself and hit a wolf. Large teeth and sharp claws, piercing everywhere. A deep growl rose above all the other sounds...then a big bolt swept through. Lanis's eyes flew open. He dashed out of the den and jumped on the boulder. He howled only once.
"OOOOOOWWWW!" The ancestors were fast to answer him. They gave him visions, then a mere taste of the pain. Lanis fell and yowled, feeling like lightning just went through his body and several feelings of bites and clawing went through his body. He gave a small howl, begging the ancestors to stop, and they gave one last vision before leaving him. His eyes were shut tightly, and he was still down, he could still feel bits of the pain. Then, something touched him, and called his name.

"Stay here." He said quickly. He ran into the forest, not even looking to see if she was following. He raced past trees, rocks, and shrubs. He stopped at the creek and saw a white wolf, double his size, hovering over the water.
"You received our visions, and one brought you here." She said. Lanis walked into the water, it went up to the tip of his tail. The white wolf walked up to him, and muzzled him in the shoulder.
"The visions...you will see them come true, like I did, you saw me." The spirit said. "You must be ready for hard times..leaf-bare, sick wolves, battles, and lightning." She added. She laid her head on his shoulder, and began giving him more visions. A rattle in the bushes came, but they ignored it.

He walked back from the creek to the camp. The spirit wolf gave him more visions and warnings...something was going to happen. He walked past trees and walked on the familiar path. He stumbled a bit, he was very tired. He stepped into the camp and saw the familiar glowing eyes of a wolf staring back at him.

Fadalia bolted when she set eyes on Lanis, she bowled him over and covered him with licks a nips, "Never do that again!" she yowled. Lanis pushed her off and they both store back at the rest of the pack. The pack where frozen in the spot and where very strikin' by Fadalia's behavior. Fadalia smiled and tugged Lanis into her den.
The pack was staring at them strangely. Fadalia signaled him to go to her den. She walked in and he followed. Fadalia sat on her moss bed. Lanis sat and sniffed at one of the small flowers sprouting before looking up at Fadalia.
