I rolled my eyes. Boys. They had to be territorial, didn't they? Those male hormones kicking in again.

And all over me.

I felt special!

I thanked Matt when he handed me my order, and watched - trying not to laugh - as he passed Karsh his chocolate frogs.

As I sat there eating, all I could think about were the many schemes I could work up to really get the heat going. How would they react to each other as the year progressed?

I munched a licorice wand as I checked the landscape that flew by alongside the window, attempting to gague when we'd arrive at Hogwarts. My geographical knowledge wasn't good enough to give an accurate figure, though, so I gave it up as a bad job and started a second wand. I watched Kar briefly dig into his own treat and Adri sip on her juice. Tidibt attempted to nip at the bottom end of my licorice, and I let him get a tiny chunk before pulling it away

I relaxed; there was no need to get into anything now. We had the whole year, after all, so why not just enjoy the train ride?

"You've been at those frogs for a while now, Kar," I said conversationally between bites, "you have the whole collection yet?"

ok.... I'm lost...... I kinda forgot about this. Oh well.... What did I miss? it looks like everybody is still on the train.....

It was impossible! Dumbledore was dead; he died by Snape’s wand back when Harry Potter was at school! So why was Jared seeing him murdered by Grindlewald? And why had it scared my brother so bad? What did it mean? Probably nothing. Right?

And yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was significant somehow.

For the first time in my entire history at Hogwarts, I wished I was home. Mum always had an idea about these sort of things. I wondered if she had been the same at school and if there was anyone I knew who could help.

Karsh Ferrin.

I didn’t know if he was any good at these sort of things and I didn’t know if he would think it was a big deal. All I knew was that he was Quidditch captain and for that, I looked up to him.

In one of my infamous split second decisions, I stood up and headed for the door, “Come on guys.”

They got up; Jared was shaking.

I stretched my hand out to open the compartment, but someone beat me to it. Ally Wilson, a Ravenclaw in my year, threw it open, looking mad.

“Uh, what’s going on, guys?” She asked, surveying our faces.

“Jared saw Grindlewald murder Dumbledore,” I muttered, still confused.

“What? But Snape…”

“Yah I know,” I cut her off, “Come on.” I grabbed her arm and spun her around, dragging her with us. I probably shouldn’t have been so rough but the strange feeling hung over me: Jared’s dream meant something.

I strode along the hallways, throwing open compartments in search of Karsh. Behind me, I could hear Korren and Ally whispering, “Where’s she going?”

Finally, I found him. He was sitting with Adri and a Slytherin called Matthew Corzein. I did a quick recount in my head, Adri was keeper for Gryffindor and I liked her. Matthew Corzein was a particularly odd Slytherin, mostly a jerk but sometimes okay. I decided it would be okay to let them in on it too, although the Slytherin made me nervous, his ice cold eyes seemed to go right through me.

“Karsh, I need your help.”

I was obviously startled by the sudden intruders. My chocolate frog quickly jumped out of hand and out the window before a snatch it back. Everyone stared at Felicia in disbelief. I slowly and calmly stood up.

"What is it? What's wrong?"

Felicia looked warily at Matt. "I need to talk to you alone."

I looked back at the two a had to leave. Matt grinned slyly, raising his eyebrows a few times to taunt me. Jerk.

Still, I needed to help Felicia. logic against emotion, I stepped out of the cart, closing the door behind me. Turning back, my arms folded, i looked the girl up and down.

"So tell me now, what is happening?"

Jared

Jared tugged on Felicia's arm. She looked down. "What?" she asked.

The compartment fell silent, and Jared whispered, "Don't you remember? Remember when I had that dream of Dad?"

He heard Felicia gasp, and her eyes widened. "No," she whispered, "no, that couldn't be right."

Jared nodded. It had to be right. After all, ever since he had had that dream about his father, and his father died shortly after it, there was no mistaking that this was the same kind of dream.

Jared had once had a dream and chilled him to the bone. He had dreamt that he saw his father get murdered by none other than Grindlewald. Who was this villian? Shortly after Jared had told his father about seeing him get blown up by the killing curse, his father was found dead with no signs of how he died.

"But Dumbledore is already dead. Grindlewald can't kill Dumbledore if he's already dead!" Felicia exclaimed, looking at Jared's eyes.

"I know, but I think that this was just a warning. Maybe, later this year...he'll...I mean I'll have another dream..." Jared shook, trying to calm himself.

Had he really seen the future? Was this 'Grindlewald' really going into his dreams and torturing him with the future? It if was true, then Jared could now be the one link from death to life. He could have the power to warn people; to save them, even!

"Let's just...just wait, all right?" Jared asked, and everyone nodded. Jared would be sure to tell _________ about his dream first thing when he got to Hogwarts.

(Cripes, folks. A little continuity would be nice. I'm now utterly baffled at what's actually happening and what's not.)

Walking backwards on a train. Sounds idiotic right? But its so much fun to see what happens and who you run into..........untill you run into your Quidditch captain talking to some first year and some other people.

"Sorry about that one Karsh."I said, laughing.

Karsh grinned,"So like you to bump into people like that."

*I know what you mean. I got dragged into the side story without knowing. Come on, let the characters be teenagers for a while before the obscure conflict breaks out! We haven't even gotten to the school yet!*

*And besides, Voldemort killed Grindelwald, so right after Dumbledore's death. So, what now?*

idk i got pretty lost after bigbad's last post, since i had already started my solution. i actually wasn't planning to have any conflicts until later on so bigbad, would you mind explaining a little? grindlewald is dead, dumbledore is dead... whats going on? were not mad at you exactly so dont feel bad, just help me out on this one. Where are you going? Have you read the books? (by the way, sorry for dragging u in darchoco, i just was hoping u might have a creative way to solve the problem without bringin it out like this:))

anyway, bigbad sorry to single u out, i dont want to hurt your feelings, but what's your thinking? Where are you going?again, im sorry we had to come out and address this in the open, but i think we are all a little confused. bigbad?

i really dont want to lose this storybook, i enjoy writing with all of you, so lets just try to fix this...

bigbad, we are not blaming you, just wondering what you're thinking...

(I don't have a problem with the vision, even if it doesn't make sense on a technical level. Visions don't have the make perfect sense. I do, however, have issues with the lack of continuity between bigbadbears's post and the other most recent posts. Also, if we're trying to make Grinlelwald the vilain and he's dead, than that's a problem.)

No no no! Grindlewald is a new bad guy. I think that I kinda got him mixed up with the guy that Dumbledore killed. I'm sorry for any confusion. Let's just like ignore what I have been saying and continue on to Hogwarts, ok? Sorry everyone!
