The Random Vampire Story [1]

"Lets worry about it all tomorrow," Caiden said and yawned, "lets just get some sleep now."

He nuzzled her hair, "good idea."

They went up to her room after Slade took over the couch and Brent took over the guest room and fell onto the bed almost instantly falling asleep.

Colt-


Colt stroked Caiden's hair as she fell asleep. He would do anythign in his will power to keep anyone from hurting her. Even if it meant killing her old boss. He would make sure she was ok in the end. Darkness slowly took over his mind as he smiled, he was finnally complete.

Caiden's sleeping patters were getting really messed up, she didn't really mind though. She seemed to be on the same pattern as Colt. And that suited her just fine. When his arms wrapped around her she felt more content than anything she'd ever felt. She loved him more than anything, and although she was usually the one in trouble, she'd fight the fires of hell and the holy waters of heaven to protect him. Just as he would her. Nothing felt better than that knowledge.

When she woke, he was already awake. "Good morning," she sighed contently smiling up at him.

Colt-

Part of Colt hated it when she woke up because she was so beautiful and peaceful when she slept. But the other part was glad she was awake so he could spend time with her and still soak in her beauty.

"Good morning." He grinned smilng at her.

Caiden snuggled up close to Colt more, "sleep well?" she asked.

He shook his head, "not that well."

"Why not?"

"I missed you."

She giggled, "but I was right here?"

"Not enough for me."

"Oh, really?" She grinned, "How is that?"

"Well, I want to be able to hold you, talk to you, hear you laugh, and all that stuff." He grinned kissing her. "To feel your hair against my skin, smell your sweet scent, everything I can't do while I am sleeping."

Caiden grinned and kissed him back, "you're such a sweet talker you know that?"

He nodded, "yes I do."

"But that's why I love you. Come on, lets go get the guys and go handle the vampires at your apartment."

He seemed reluctant to agree.

Colt-

Colt slowly got up drinking in the time he had with her alone while he still had it. He followed her out to the living room where the others were already up and walking around. He wrapped his arms around Caiden's shoulders and looked at the other two who were sitting on the couch watching tv.

"So whats the plan?" Brenty asked.

"Storm up and kill them all," Slade said.

"And get us killed too," Caiden pointed out, "I have a better idea."

"Which would be?"

"You, me, and Slade combine to make wards that keep them IN, eventually they'll be too weak to do much fighting. Easy kill that way."

"You think we can do that?" Colt asked.

Caiden nodded, "i'm almost positive that we can," she leaned into him, "and if it works, we'll have weeks to spend just lounging here."

"We will still have to worry about your boss, he isn't just going to let us free. He'll be back." COlt replied wrapping his arms tighter around her shoulders.

Caiden liked when Colt wrapped his arm around her, it made her feel safe. "If he does, well I'm not that apposed to killing him," she grinned up at Colt, "at least now that he knows what he's up against."

*same here*

"You will have to get in line." COlt laughed holding her close, "Cause if he gets close to you again I'll tear his heart out." He kissed the top of her head and sighed.

Colt heard Caiden laugh softly,

"That is if he shows up in front of you before he does me." She smiled, he kissed the top of her head and shook his head.

"Your not leaving my site. So he iwll have to show up in front of me, and I will kill me." Colt replied.

*I know that was a typo but I've got something cute*

"Kill me?" Caiden echoed, "I think you mean kill him love."

He shrugged, "you know what I meant."

She kissed his chin, "only because I know you, if I didn't know you so well I'd be panicing right now and handcuffing you to the railing."

Colt-

Colt laughed and pulled her closer.

"I'm allowed to slip up as are you, sooner or later." He grinned, he pulled her face to his and his lips meet hers. When he pulled away he smiled, "I love you, love." He grinned.
