"Good idea," He turned to the others, "let's get to her place, we'll make up a plan there. I'm not about to leave my apartment to them." He wrapped his arms around Caiden as they started towards her house. He loved teh feel of her in his hands, the way her hair felt against his skin and her skin on his.
Caiden walked alongside Colt. How had she gone through life without having known him before? The very thought seemed impossible to comprehend now. "I love you," she murmered into his chest.
"I love you too." He replied breathing in her scent. They walked into her house and his nose flared, someoen was there, someone who smelled bitter and mean. He pulled Caiden close and looked around. Who was there, who had invaded her home, her safety. He would destroy them, they meant them no good and that was for sure from their smell.
Colt looked at the guy in front of him. He wasn't but maybe Colt's age, well the age he looked. He wrapped his arm around Caiden glaring at the guy. Caiden didn't seem worried in the least bit, but Colt didn't want someone that paid people to hunt vampires around Caiden, not even in the same town.
Caiden knew what Nick was going to do, and knew how to one up him, as soon as he looked away when his gun got caught on his belt she kicked his feet out from under him. Sending him hard onto the ground.
"Watch yourself Nick," she said stepping on the hand that was holding the gun, and taking it away, "I know how foolish you are when it comes to vampire hunting." She let her fangs slide down, "if you come here again, you'll see the full extent to my new powers."
"Just what we need, more trouble makers. We will need to get rid of the others before we have to worry about theses guys getting down out throats." Colt growled leading her into the house and closing the door behind him.
