"Woah," Marlene said, her eyes wide. "You want us to leave? We just got here! Plus, wasn't it you, Bill, who said we should just stay put? I can't just up and leave my entire family behind, you know."

"Plus, this place is like a fortress, and at the moment, i think we might be completly surrounded."

"True, true." said Kathy.

Slade pulled out an Uzi A9 MM. Everyone just stared.

"What? Im like a portable gun shop, ok?" As he said this he pulled out two butterfly knives and a butcher knife.

"Ok, ok," he said as they continued to glare,"more weapons shop than guns, ok?"

"Were to you keep them all?" Asked Marlene

"Lets just say that the jackets bigger than it looks." and he smiled. At this, they heard another bang from the window, and a smash, confirming the window had broken.

"I'm all for leaving. I don't have much family left anyway, and none of them are here. But, how do we know the zombies aren't everywhere?" Jordan asked.

Marlene laughed. "You're like that merchant from Resident Evil."

The window broke then. She only hoped the table would hold.

"Okay, someone needs to make sure all the doors and windows are locked and barricaded. Who's going to volunteer?"

"If you want, I'll do the upstairs if you do the downstairs," Marlene said, taking out her gun. Finally, they were getting involved in the fight. She smiled.

She then turned to Bill, Kathy, and Jordan. "What are we going to do about the zombie?"

Kathy grinned and cocked her gun, she aimed it at the zombies head and pulled the trigger. Jordan and Bill shoved him back out and put the table back against the window.
I just lost the game.

Marlene laughed. "I guess that'll work! I'm going to go make sure everything's okay upstairs. I'll be right back."

She ran up the stairs and entered the first bedroom.

From downstairs everyone could here the screem.

"Dang! I knew we should have stayed in pairs!"Bill yelled,"Slade, get up there now!"I hated being yelled at, so i compromised with myself. Bill was in the way of the staircase, so instead of asking him to move.....

"Watch where your going!"yelled Bill from the floor. Woohoo, that felt so good! I feel so much better now.! I thought.

As i got up to where Marlene was, I realized why she screamed. I burst out laughing.

"Marlene, its only a cat, you'll be ok!!" I promised, i went over to the window, shut it, and locked it."Ok," i said,"Lets go to the other rooms together, ok? Is something wrong?"

Marlene just shook her head. She had seen to many horror films, this one.

Marlene shook her head, but couldn't speak. She wasn't sure if it was the cat that had actually scared her.

She was almost sure she had seen something else instead.

"You don't think any zombies are actually inside, do you?" Marlene finally spoke.

Slade laughed. He ushered her through the room and back down the stairs. "Don't worry! We've blocked up any openings in the house."

Marlene nodded, but her fears didn't subside.

Jordan was the last one up the stairs, but was at Marlene's side in a heartbeat.

"Are you ok?" he asked, hugging her. She shivered a little, and hugged him back.

"Yeah, I guess so...just a little jittery," she replied shakily.

"Well, don't worry, I'll protect you!" he said, tryign to look brave for her. She laughed.

"Thanks, I feel loads safer now."

Marlene smiled, feeling a lot safer. She usually wasn't frightened easily. Things popping out at you and startling you was another thing.

She linked her arm with Jordan's as they made their way back into the kitchen.

"How are things going in here?" She asked.

Jordan looked around, and answered before Bill or Kathy had the chance.

"Considering that there is a hole through the table that is supposed to keep things out, I'd say we aren't doign so good," he said.

"Shoot!" Bill snapped, runnign foreward. Jordan pulled out his gun.

"Be careful," he said to Marlene, who was pulling out her gun as well.

"You don't need to tell me twice," she said as they waited for someone to tell them what to do.

Something lunged through the hole in the table, Kathy and Bill shot first, hitting it in the head. Everyone else followed suit.

Before too long the dead corpse was laying sprawled across the floor, bleeding everywhere.

Bill and Kathy looked at Jordan and Marlene (who were still wearing their robes), "We've got some clothes you can borrow," Kathy offered and walked calmly out of the kitchen.

"Now do you think we should leave?" Bill asked.
I just lost the game.

"Hey! I like what I'm wearing," Marlene said, blushing. "Anyway, where exactly do you expect us to go?"
