I woke up to the morning sun shining in my eyes. I pulled on my robes and walked into the common and then out to Great Hall. I sat at the table, pulled some toast towards me, and ate.

I watched as a silvery substance escaped from my wand and was momentarily disapointed when it took on no form but then I willed myself to think stronger, happier thoughts. I thought of how Alice had stopped me from falling from my broom, how Jesse (who was not stood far away) had warmed to the idea of flying with me and how we had raced around the field. Then I thought of how right it had felt standing beside the Gryffindors, claiming revenge on Garret.
Carefully I said the charm again and that same, silvery substance leaked from my wand but suddenly it began to take form. A badger escaped from my wand and began to plod around the room. For a moment I stared in disbelief and then a high, shrill voice screeched -
"Look. A badger! That's a hufflepuff creature, that is," A young ravenclaw nodded her head confidently and began searching the room, trying to figure out who had conjured it. With a hurried flick of my wand, the creature was gone and I breathed a sigh of relief. The rest of that class was uneventful but, when I left the room, Jesse fell into step beside me.
"You're not the average Slytherin, you know," He remarked.
"I know," I replied. "But I wouldn't have made a good hufflepuff."
"Of course you would have. You're nothing like a Slytherin," Jesse replied to Kate's comment.
"Thanks but really, I wouldn't." Kate sped off down the corridor. Jesse stood there dazed. He had Potions next so he quickly hurried off towards the dungeon.
He arrived at the dungeon door with 10 minutes to spare. He opened it up and found the dreary room alive with talking and laughing Slytherins. He looked in the corner and found a few students from Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor sitting at a few rickety tables.
Alice, Sedry, and Calder were walking to the great hall when Alice veered off of the path.
"Aren't you coming to breakfast?" Calder asked.
Alice shook her head, "no, I'm not hungry." At their questioning looks she smiled, "I'll be back in the common room after dark, possibly after midnight tonight." With that she dissappeared into the corridor, fighting off the tears that came with speaking.
I walked down the hall and rubbed my eyes. I was so tired for some reason. I wasn't looking and I slammed into Alice.
"Oh my gosh Alice. I'm so sorry. I'm not paying attention tod-" I noticed Alice's eyes were red and she was crying, or trying not to. "Awww Alice, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing." She said and tried to walk off but I took her wrist and pulled her back.
"Alice, what is wrong? You can tell me. I'm here for you girl." I said and gave her a small hug. Everyone stared but I gave them a hard stare and they walked past.
"After it happened I thought that I'd just try to live as normally as possible and bury it, but things like that don't stay buried. I didn't think it would, but it taints your whole life."
"My desires were bestial, obviously." -Jeffery Dahmer.
Calder looked at him dumbly. "But she seems to want to be alone..."
Sedry rolled his eyes. "Calder, follow her this istant or I will hex you where you stand!"
*sry.... thats all I got...*
if you were to die today, would you be able to tell yourself that you did everything you wanted and everything you could?

life is a puzzle. want to put it together with me?
I clutched my books to my chest as I hurried away from Jesse and out into the grounds. Feeling a little foolish, I slowed to a walk and headed towards my herbology class. This just happened to be the one class I had with the hufflepuffs.
"Hi," One of them called and I stared at her in surprise. She was a slim girl with long, blond hair drawn back in a ponytail and her bright, green eyes observed me casually. Natalie. "We're working in groups today. Want to join us?" I looked past her to see a second girl with copper curls and an enigmatic smile.
"Uh..." I hesitated but I knew no Slytherin was going to make me an offer so I nodded my head.
"Great," The secong girl, Fiona, exclaimed.
"But why?" I asked, "I'm a Slytherin."
"We heard how you stuck up for that Gryffindor girl and the hat isn't always right."
"Yes," The other girl nodded enthusiastically, "It certainly placed my mother in the wrong house."
Jesse sat a table with Gryffindors. A boiling vat rested in front of them, shimmering liquid swirled around inside it.
"Now add the Dittany and mix it by stirring counter-clockwise three times and clockwise once," the potions teacher said. The groups added the ingredient. The liquid turned a brilliant blue. Jesse then stirred it as he was told. A group of Slytherins were having trouble. Their mixture produced purple flames.
"You fools! Your supposed to stir it three times COUNTER-CLOCKWISE! Not CLOCKWISE!" the teacher yelled.
*Um, I'd post, but I'm a bit lost here guys. I mean, we're at breakfast than we're in class then we're back before class and yeah...It might just be me but I really have no idea what's going on.*

Alice convinced Calder that she was fine, and just needed to walk around for a bit. It was a little difficult to excape both him and Lindsay but she managed to do so.
She walked towards the forbidden forest and Hagrid's hut. She'd stop by for a visit before going back to the castle. Hagrid always cheered her up.
When she walked into the forest she smacked herself into Ashton a forth year Ravenclaw.
"Oh hi Ash," she said doing her best to keep her voice even.
Potions class was over. Jesse was relieved when his potion passed the test. Now he didn't have any homework unlike the Slytherins. He walked out the door and into the entrance hall. The massive clock read 9:00. That meant that Jesse missed breakfast. He didn't care. He walked out into the stone courtyard. Ravens were everywhere. He continued along the bridge to Hagrids hut where his next lesson was going to take place.
