Chat room adventures

Adam felt his friends struggle, with a fleeting though he stood on the bridge, watching his friends fight the imposter.

"You will not leave this place alive." The fighting stopped, everyone lookined at Adam in shock, he was glowing.

"It cant be...I k-k-killed you!" Cried the imposter Adam.

"You are but a bug, on the windshield of the universe." Adam tore through his mind, gathering information as the stability collapsed and he sank into empty darkness.

"AHHH!!!" it screamed as it crumpled to the floor, drooling into the carpet. Adam raised his finger and pointed at him, with a small beam of white-blue light the Imposter turned to dust.

They all launched themselves towards Adam and were able to force him to the floor. Scipio pulled himself away from the others and snatched the gun from the floor.

"Does your arm hurt much?" He asked Alice softly.

"It's not too bad," She replied, struggling to keep hold of Adam's arm. Scipio raised the gun and the room paused.

"I should really shoot you through the heart but I don't know if you're some sort of spirit in Adam's body, in which case he would not forgive me for the holes, or some sort of shapeshifter," Scipio declared. The fake Adam began to laugh.

"Why I'm a spirit of course. Shoot this body and I'll find another but your friend Adam? You'll not get him back."

"He's lying!" Bella declared. "I talked to Adam and... he's dying. This imposter's done something to him and we have to find him!"

*Okay i'm just reversing Adam's and Heather's posts and it'll all make sense*

Alice gawked as the imposter turned to dust, then she spun and saw Adam.

Bella and Alice reacted simultaniously, they screamed his name and threw themselves at him. Alice with her good arm, Bella with both of hers. Soon everyone else had gripped him in a giant hug.

"what happened?" Nutty asked.

"Old friend trying to kill us."

Alice made a mocking scoff, "well he could've been a little more ovbious about it, I mean come on, pulling a gun on all of us? No offence, Adam, but we wouldn't let even you do that."

Adam freed his mind and powers, allowing his form to fade back into his own human shape. That was...strange...

"My goddess, Adam," Muttered Bella, "How in blazes did you do that? Last i heard from you, you were dying."

"I had some help," Adam said slumping into his captain's chair.

"From who?" asked Alice.

"A couple....Gaurdian Angels. Is there anything to eat, I'm kinda hungry?"

"There's some food in the kitchen actually," Scipio replied with an apologetic glance in Alice's direction.

"That sounds good," Adam replied looking utterly exhausted. Scipio left the room and picked up both of the plates, carrying them over to the microwave. He re-heated Adam's first and took it through to the other room and then dealt with the second before taking it to Alice. She looked up at him in surprise.

"We can share it," Scipio said before she had a chance to open her mouth.

Alice smiled and started to blush. She tried to hide her face with the loose strands of her bun, but not finding enough. Scipio got out another fork and knife.

Adam inhaled the food and almost bit into the plate. He bid his crew goodnight before retreating to his room. There was a lot of information to go through. He sat infront of his computer, the various symbols scrolling by as usual, then he saw it...the pattern of the code.

"Could it really be so simple?" He clicked away at th keyboard, the symbols were fading, slowly the screen went black and Adam hit enter. His screen flashed with light, At last he had cracked the riddle of the Ancient Computer.

Adam watched the screen as words formed:

Across the void we lay in wait
For the ones who seek the final plate

Inside the home of darkest death
release the Spirit of the Monalith

"Spirit of the Monalith?" Adam stared as the screen faded. "What does that mean?"

Well, I guess I'll pick my own route then.

Adam wondered what it all meant, then the screen flashed again, the lights of the Highwind dimmed and turned red.

"Warning, Warning," chimed the computer, "Temporal anomily detected."

"Oh, my..." The highwind was absorbed into a glowing transparent ball, trapped outside of normal space as her crew were scattered into the waves of time.

Ancient Station

"Sir, the Highwind is gone!"

"What?" asked the head researcher, "How can it be gone?"

"I dont know, the sensors detected some sort of strange reading and then it was gone."

"Run a full spectrum scan of th area, we need to know what happened to them."

I'm a little confused so I think I'll let you finish introducing the dimensions thing before I post...

**I got it; Alice explained it to me at school. Pretty much, Adam cracked some ancient code thing, and now we're all scattered in pairs around the universe in different time periods and stuff. And the highwind is gone, so we're all stuck. There are a lot of loopholes in that plot, by the way, such as the fact that Heather has a sword that allows her to travel and stuff. Anywho, I'm going to post.**


Bella opened her eyes, blinking a few times in an attempt to focus her vision.

"What the bloody friggin hell?" she screamed, surveying her surroundings with a mixture of terror and disgust. She jumped to her feet, and immediatly recognized a large man-eating plant that lived on, of course, Planet Ivy. She stepped backwards quickly, and screamed again when she tripped over something that was curled up on the ground behind her.

"Huh what now?" the person on the ground exclaimed groggily, sitting up and looking around.

"Chris; oh thank Goddess," she sighed, hugging him tightly.

"Hey Bells. Tis good to see you too...but where are we?"

"I think we're on Planet Ivy..." she answered, looking around again. "But I don't know how we got here."

Heather's eyelids slowly fluttered open and she sat up, rubbing her head to find Rick standing over her.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah," She murmured. "But what happened?"

"That I don't know. I know where we are though. Planet Earth."

"What?" Heather demanded, springing to her feet and staring around. They were standing beside some swings in a grassy park that was, fortunately, currently deserted. Probably due to the dark, evening sky.

"But why are we on Earth?" Heather wondered, walking towards some trees. "Hey, I know this place..."

"You do?" Rick asked.

"Yeah. It's a little park in Spain. Not far from Pueblo Evita actually. I've been a few times."

"Any chance we can get back to the ship?" Heather nodded, drawing the sword and holding it out in front of her. Righ placed a hand beside hers upon the handle and they waited but nothing happened.

"What's going on?" Rick demanded.

"I think the sword is temporarily out of magic. We sort of used it a lot on the last adventure to Earth and back," Heather realised.

"Get it away from me!!"
"Will you calm down!"
"That thing is disgusting and evil!!"
Nutty sighed.

"It's not evil. It's smiling."
"Look at that twisted smile! It's plotting against us!"
"Matt, if you don't calm down right now I'm going to render you unconscious."
"I'll spare you the trouble."

Mattster punched himself in the face and collapsed. Nutty stared.
"That was easy."

She turned back to the smiley. "You're not evil, are you? You're cute!"

Scipio struggled to his feet, slipping in the muddy puddles he had fallen into and clutching the left arm he had fallen upon.

"Ow," He mumbled, glaring down at the cobbled street. Cobbles? Then he noticed Alice, sprawled at his feet. He extended a hand to help her up. Not the left one.

"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Dorothy," Scipio joked. Just then, a woman in a rather strange costume passed them and Scipio watched after her - blond hair worn in a bun, a rather fancy blue, embroidered dress, a deep, navy cloak and slippers upon her feet.

"Not in Kansas?" Alice asked in confusion.

OMG ADAM! I'm sooo sorry I compleatly forgot you! But...thats kinda good, you gotta stay on the highwind and find a way to get us back. Unless you've already left, in which case, I'll just let you make it up.

"You've never seen the Wizard of Oz?" Scipio joked again.

"Not that I remember, and speaking of remembering, who the hell are you?"

Scipio gave her a confused look, "I'm Scipio, remember?"

Alice shook her head, "I don't remember anything." Her tone was defiant, but behind her eyes she was screaming and shouting, wanting it all to come back.

He grabbed her shoulders and lightly shook her, "what's your name?"

She shrugged as best she could, "you tell me, like I said, I don't remember anything. Since you seem to know me, could you please fill in the gaping holes?"
