"Seems like we're stuck here for a while, Chris," Bella noted, getting up slowly.

"Stuck here? How can we just be stuck here?"

"Well, Adam can't just zoom over and pick us up; we're in another freaking time period! I'm hungry..." Bella walked along a small dirt path that she had noticed. She didn't know if Chris was following her, but figured it couldn't matter too much.

"Wait up!" Chris shouted suddenly, running foreward to find her. Bella turned around and screamed. "What is it?" Chris asked, slowing down. He turned around just in time to see IT grab him up and run away.

***Short, I know***

Alice looked at the blue one and squealed in delight, "I like that one!" She yanked the gown down and a corset. "I hope this fits." She said eyeing the corset unhappily, "and I hope we don't have to do much running, I have enough trouble breathing as it is most of the time."

*I still can't think of anything ^.^ (smiles nervously) *

Hey why is everyone posting in red? And what is this all about?

Posting in red? I don't see any red posts... And this is a storybook about the YWS Highwind and her crew and their adventures through space.

"Okay but I still need some trousers, I don't think they had jeans in medieval times," Scipio noted. Alice smiled and grabbed a pair from a nearby washing line before throwing them at him.

"So where do we change?" She wondered.

"Dark alley?" Scipio suggested. Alice sighed and nodded reluctantly so they made their way across the cobbled street until they came to a small cul-de-sac.

"No looking!" Alice commanded as she headed down first and Scipio stood guard at the entrance, wielding his metallic baseball bat.

"You know," he commented, "If our clothes don't get us noticed then this weapon sure will. I think we're going to have to find me a sword."

"Chris? Chris, where'd you go?" Bella cried, looking around nervously as she slipped through the plants. "Dammit Chris, this better not be another one of your stupid jokes!" She heard a loud crash and ran in the direction it came from, holding up her diamond sword worriedly.

"Bella, help!" Chris cried as the creature, a large leafy thing, pulled him down into what seemed to be an innocent hedge. Underneath it however, was a long, dark tunnel. They made a lot of rucus going under, and Chris was sure Bella would follow. "Help!"

"Help," Bella heard the cry just as the crash stopped. She was standing next to a large hedge, in teh middle of a clearing. Everything was completely silent.
*Adam!* she called with her mind. *Dammit Adam, I don't know what to do. I've never not had back up before*

*Well, what happened?* Adam asked worriedly.

*Chris is gone. Something got him; he doesn't have a weapon, because he's Mr. Macho!* Bella made sure that her snippy, sarcastic tone was very noticable in her thoughts.

"And I'll need a dagger," Alice said as she struggled to tie the knot at the top of the corset. "These things hurt a lot more than I imagined they would," she gasped for air, "and takes some getting used to breathing like this."

"Are you sure you're going to be okay in that?"

Alice took a shallow/deep breath and pulled the gown over her head.

"Why are you going to need a dagger?"

"It wouldn't look too common for me to be carrying a sword would it?"

Scipio laughed, "no I suppose it wouldn't."

Dont panic I have an idea I number of connections formed a tone. Adam ran to the Mental snesor and started connecting wires to the wall. he then uncovered a small pad. after a few more wires it was connected to the chair and the ships shield generator.

Adam hurry!

He leapt into the chair connected and concentrated. He felt his mental powers gather, focussing he inverted the shields creating a small rift in Space/Time. the stablizing pad allowed the rift to remain open and with a last thought Adam projected himself to Bella.

"Ahh!" she fell backwards as the transparent form of Adam appeared next to her. "How the hell are you doing that!?"

"No time to explain, we have to get to Chris." Adam went first, his non-corperal form casting a gahstly glow on the hidden tunnel.

"Okay so how is this going to work again?" Alice asked dubiously as they stared up at the big sign that indicated the rather small, shabby building was a Blacksmith's forge.

"Well I'm going to go in there and talk to the owner about buying a sword. I'll create some sort of disturbance and then you're going to borrow a few weapons for us," Scipio explained.

"Borrow as in how we borrowed the clothes?" Alice asked. "Only aren't we going to change history doing things like this?"

"I'm not sure," Scipio admitted. "But we need to blend in until Adam finds a way to get us out of here and when that happens, I'm sure he'll have some awesome plan of how to fix history."

"Okay then. Are you ready?" Scipio nodded and strode into the building, ducking to get through the rather small door-way while Alice sneaked around the back.

Bella followed Adam closely, her sword at the ready. Adam didn't talk much, and Bella had the feeling it had something to do with the fact that it was him, but it wasn't him.

"After this are you going to be able to take us back to the ship with you?"

"I'm not sure yet...possibly."

"Ok..."

"Bella? Bells, is that you?" Bella heard Chris's voice, and ran forward, knowing better than to shout back. She turned the next corner, and was face to "face" with the large, carnivorous plant.

"Um...ADAM!' she cried, taking a worried step back. The plant reached out at her with one of his vine-like roots, and Bella immediatly chopped it off.

Climbing through the back window was a lot harder wearing the gown than she would've thought. She read about doing it before and was able to do it wearing jeans-oh how she already missed the feel of denim-but the gown was a little harder. She heard a racket coming out of the front and decided it was time to make her move.

Being as stealth as she could she grabbed a sword and a dagger and headed out the window. She had to be extra careful not to impale herself on the dagger or sword as she pulled herself out.

She leaned casually against the wall and smiled when Scipio came out.

"Did you get them?"

She handed him the sword, "there weren't any hilts, we'll have to figure something else out."

Adam focused yet again, the plant screeched in pain as Adam destroyed its fragile mind. Chris was lying beneath it, barely concious.

"I want you two to stay here," Adam told Bella, "I need to able to find you again." She nodded as she bent down to nurse Chris. "Hopefully it wont take long."

Adam went back to his body, getting up and taking off the connection to the chair. Something isn't right here. It seems odd

He went quickly back to work, attempting to create a time traveling device while keeping an eye on the historical changes affecting the timeline.

"Well let's find a clothes shop. I'm sure they'll have some sort of belts there," Scipio suggested.

"And we pay for them how?" Alice asked, raising an eyebrow as they hurried away from the blacksmith's, along the cobbled road.

"Okay... then let's go to the town centre first. We can sing for our supper," Scipio decided with a winning grin.

"You can sing?" Alice asked.

"A little and if that fails, I'm a half decent dancer."

"But what about medieval songs and dance?"

Bella leaned over Chris, unsure of what to do to help him. Healing wasn't exactly her strong point.

"Chris, are you alright?"

"Yeah..." he breathing was heavy. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah...i just...need...to sleep for a while," he answered. Bella noticed the large gash on his head.

"No Chris, you can't sleep right now. You need to stay awake for while," she said, lifting his head up so that he wasn't completely lying down. "Here, sing with me, ok?"

"Ok..."

"Pick a song."

"I don't wanna close my eyes..." Bella smiled; this had been their song, before Chris had left so suddenly. She began singing along, loving the sound of their voices together. "I don't wanna go to sleep, cause I'll miss you babe, and I don't wanna miss a thing."

Scipio looked indifferent, "we'll shake things up a bit, how well do you sing?"

"Depends on the song."

Scipio took her arm, "we'll do a duet then!"

Alice smiled, her cheeks burining, she was bound to make a fool of herself.

Bella kept Chris awake, singing random songs, for an hour at least. After that, she decided it would be safe to let him sleep for a while, and allowed him that comfort.

Bella leaned backwards, Chris's head still against her lap, and closed her eyes. She was exhausted, and it smelled very nice where they were. It was as if something was making her want to sleep. She drifted off slowly, enjoying the warmth that had suddenly overtaken her. Something was certainly not right...
