"I would think if she were gonna show herself it would have been before now, though." said Greg.

"Come on, do the insane ones ever do anything logical?" asked Owen.

"True..."

"Well, she's not here right now so why worry over it?" asked Sara.

Greg looked at her in the duh way, "You should know why."

"You're just over protective, Greg."

"Well why shouldn't I be?" He took his arm and put it around Sara, "I'd go insane without you, as proven by-"

"Don't even say it Greg."

"Alright."

"There's really not much we can do now, besides being super alert. I mean, if she is back and evil like, then we'll just have to get rid of her. She can't be much worse than Peter, right?" Owen replied. Alexx gave his the crazy look.

"You do remember what happened earlier, with Sara and Hannah and all the confusion, don't you?"

"Oh yeah..." he nodded his head in sudden realization. "Crud."

"I think we can tell the difference, remember the tatoo on her hand?" Sara said. (This thing>> viewtopic.php?t=17260 ) "And Greg can definantly tell what my kiss is like." She cupped his head in her hand and kissed him.

"I'll never forget." They were being sickeningly cute.

Sara looked at the clock, it was almost midnight, "we better get home." She rose to her feet and was pulled back down by Greg.

"You can stay a little longer," Owen inisisted.

"Are you sure. Dont you two need to go to work in the morning?" asked Greg.

"Nice thing about owning your own store," said Alexx, "You can do as uyou please."

"Regardless," Sara said rising again, "we had better get going. I have to work tomorrow."

Greg stood up with her, "I'll have to talk to your boss about your working hours."

"Greg you're going to get me fired again."

"But-"

"We'll talk about it later." She turned and hugged Alexx and Owen, "it was a nice party."

"Thanks for coming Sara, it really meant a lot to us."

"No problem." Her and Greg walked out into the dark night, now regretting the fact that they didn't bring a car.

"We could give you a lift," Owen suggested.

"Thats okay," Sara said. "We'll walk."

"Like we need to walk," Greg said once they got out.

"It's not polite to flaunt our powers," said Sara. They flew into the sky once they were out of the streetlamps light.

It was only a short flight to their apartment. Greg lifted the window an allowed Sara to glide in.

"Thanks hon," she said as she sat down on the couch. He sat down next to her, "I'm so tired," she said as she leaned against him. Before she realized it she had fallen asleep.

She dreamed of the future, not an unusal thing for her, but the future was always bright and happy anymore. But tonight it wasn't, it was dark and devistated.

Sara walked down the rubled hall, holding a little child in her arms. She saw Greg lying on the floor, blood pooled out around him. She bent down and felt for a pulse.

She screamed when she realized he was dead.

"Not a pleasent feeling," Hannah said from behind her, "knowing the man you love is dead."

Sara stood up and spun around, "is this revenge Hannah?"

"Sorta, but its mainly because you're still together." Sara's eyes shot open, she was still on the couch, Greg asleep next to her. She eased herself out of his grip and went into the kitchen.

My dearest Greg,

I love you more than I could ever imagine myself loving someone. Which is why I have to leave you. I can't explain, but I'd rather live my life miserably than what would happen if we stay together. I'm sorry and I love you,

After she put the note on the coffee table she slipped out the window and flew off, tears streaming down her face.

"Greg and Sara were acting pretty wierd last night, weren't they?" Alexx commented over breakfast the next morning. She was eating chocolate, because that was all she had wnated to eat for the past 3 days straight.

"You noticed it too? They were acting...more abnormal than usual," Owen agreed. The door burst open suddenly, and Greg ran in.

"Sara's gone!" He panted. "She was gone when I woke up; she left this!"

"Slow down," said Owen, "did she leave a note?"

"Yeah," Greg showed them her note. "Where could she have gone. I cant sense her i cant track her." Greg sat down holding his face.

All he could see was Sara dead somewhere. He couldn't lose her again, not again. Not after everything they had been through.

Sara landed on a bench somewhere in australia, uncaring about who saw her. All she had to do was hold off on dying until she could put her baby on Greg's couch. She already took herself from him, she wouldn't permantly take him away from his child.

Now more than ever she wanted a beer, alchohol of any kind. If Alexx and Owen let Greg become drunk again she would envy him for that, he wouldn't have to feel, and she would be feeling a little extra for a while.

Greg, she thought, I'm so sorry

Sara?

Oh crap she threw up her mental blocks, shutting him out. She couldn't stop herself now, she balled.

"WEll shit, what're we gonna do now?" Alexx sighed, hitting her head against a wall in frustration. "Ow," she muttered.

"Alexx, whenever you get frustrated you hurt yourself," OWen noted, pulling out a chair. "Sit down."

"I'm fine. Stay here, I've got an idea." Sara had forgotten about how powerful Alexx's magic was when she really tried.

*Sara, can you hear me?* Alexx felt the mental blocks get stronger, but pushed past them. *I know you're there. But where exactly is there.*

*Go away Alexx.*

*No, I want to know what's going on. You at least owe Greg an explanation.*

*I...* her thought faltered. *I can't.*

*You owe it to Greg, he at least deserves to know why you took his child away too.*

*I had to* Sara threw up all her mental blocks, which seemed to lock Alexx out. "I'm sorry," she said out loud this time, not wanting them to hear.

Greg banged agaisnt sara's blocks with all his might. She was to strong. He sighed and lifted his head up.

There was nothing but silence now. Then Matt cried from upstairs. Alexx made her way to him as Greg sat and pondered. He looked out into the ocean. It was beautiful.

He left the house to sit on the beach. the water migh clear his mind. The water washed over his feet in an unnatural way. As if it had been waiting for him.

I just wish I knew how to find her...

The Ocean responded.

After sitting on the bench for the longest time she really wanted to talk to Greg, she let down her mental blocks.
