I happen to think so too. But otherwise, I think Anna's a lovely name, and Tiffany [with a Y at the end, idk if that's a big deal for you] just epitomizes delicacy and such, imo.

I'm doing NaNoWriMo for the first time this year, but I've been interested for the past two years. Last year I didn't remember it until halfway through November, though. XD I haven't really decided which of two stories to do, though. I was going to do one, but I keep leaning more and more towards one of my really old ones that I've been working on for years....

Film noir... I already love it. I'll be very interested in that. That actually sounds cool, although I'm not a fan of scifi writing. But film noir is amazing.

Well, I'm debating whether or not I really want to keep the science fiction aspects. It certainly won't be involving spaceships; more soft scifi. I think I'll rely more on exaggeration than science. Like how the main character is healed after his lover stabs him in the heart (literally ^_^).

Is there a thread where people can post what their NaNo idea is about? Like a plot summary, sort of? Or is this the thread?

I'm doing it this year; it'll be my first year! I'm very excited about it! Veterans of NaNo, what is it like to write so much in such a short period of time?

It's awesome. I loved last November. You feel like you're getting so much done! But it's also like running on a creative high every day. Actually, it's exactly that. I had a really hard time coming down near the end of the month.

It's amazing.

At first, it's really crazy and exciting and then eventually you feel like hanging yourself in the coat closet, but really- once you get to November 30, it's quite the creative high. The most fun part is reading it when you're done and laughing at the really absurd things...and abstaining from laughing at the actually-pretty-good bits.
