NaNoWriMo 2007

Anything of the novel written before November is technically cheating, I believe, but they're not going to really be able to do anything about it if you do that. Same with using a current WIP (...although I think that's basically what you were asking about).

o___o I'm trying to get my Archer's Legend story finished before November, but I've been doing...no writing lately. And I'm kind of tempted to do some plotting for NaNo, especially since I only have a few small ideas for it and I don't feel like I really have a plot right now and I need to work on that, but my brain is blocked. o___o Meh.

How do you outline a chapter? How much do you write in an outline?

That's what I used last year, and I believe that's the sole reason I won last year. It's called the Snowflake Method, and basically you outline it so thoroughly that by the time you're ready to write, the novel is practically written for you. It's fabulous, and though somewhat difficult and time-consuming, very much worth it.

I keep re-outlining. Like, with a new plot and characters and everything XD oh well, I guess I'll have plenty to do once November's over? lol

Oh, thanks for the link, Clau. And no, there's none in particular. I need to to see if woman can get off with out jail time if she kills a man. I suppose you get off anything with a good lawyer, but still. Yes, I have a very odd NaNo.

If that means what I think it means, then you are cheating. The words only count if they are written after 2007:11:01:00:00:01. It's true that there's nothing they can really do to enforce that, because it's an honor system, but it goes against the spirit of the thing, you know?

Well, yeah, I know that, but I'm also planning on writing more than 50k. And the only reason I wrote anything this month was becase November is a really busy month for me, especially this year for some strange reason.

I know that sounds really pretentious, because everyone's busy, but...

Last time I posted on this thread I had no ideas whatsoever for a novel. At this point, I've got exactly twenty-three seperate novels clattering around in my head, begging to be written! It's terrible! Any ideas for how I can select just one?

Man, Goldie, twenty-three? Which one do you like best, which one can you get most info on, which one can you put up with dominating your mind for a month?

Goldie: when you think of your twenty-three ideas, which one comes to mind first? Whatever the answer, that might be a good one to expand upon.
