NaNoWriMo 2007

It's never too late for a plot! Don't be discouraged, I'm sure you can do it. Afterall, you dont need to outline every single chapter, just have a general idea of what you want to write out.. possibly the genre, main character and a loose plot. You can do it! Let me know if you need any help...I'm so excited for Nanorimo!!

Some people don't even go into it with a loose plot. I know people that found out about NaNoWriMo on Holloween and just sat down at midnight and started writing. They're first couple chapters were rather interesting, but they found thier plot eventually.

Everyone's count downs always seem to be slightly off of mine. Two days--yes, but one? No.... How are you counting? XD


Two days! Eep. I finally thought up an ending for my novel. ><

I finally finished planning, and now the whole thing makes no sense. I aslo found out that the only important work I had to do during November's been postponed, so I don't have to worry so much about college

Tomorrow's the last day!

As to counting, Clau, I count the days by not including today or the day it starts. More.... expectant, like.

*distress* To come up with a plot in one day or lengthen the other...that's the question. XD

Time to go bang my head against the wall.

*hugs Samichan's head* Or... you could just be normal and write one story, dahling. [Rather Speakeasy of me, isn't it? Every time I say dahlin I think of Audry. XD]

Well... by my counting, about one day. Ish. It's a matter of hours at this point. XD slightly over 24.

I count that in two jumps from today, my finger will end up on the calandar block for NaNo in my planner. Hence, there are two days left until NaNo!

Uh oh.. Is it bad to have already outlined everything in every chapter? *looks around* uh oh...

anyway, the thing I fear most is finishing the novel, BUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH WORDS!!! ahhh! Anyone have any ideas to make a really, really long story???

As to making it long enough? Ramble. Ramble and ramble and ramble. Ramble about setting, ramble about weather, ramble about the event just happened. Repeat yourself. Say the same thing in two different sentences in two different ways. Echo. Echo. [I seriously added an echo to my story last year. XD] Ramble about your characters emotions.

I call this word padding, but word padding is really getting your words out so you're ahead of the count... *shrugs* Just use more words than you normally would. XD It's rather fun. I'm going to learn how to describe!

See, when it is late at night, or early in the morning, or when ever, and you just want to get the words out, you do stuff like that, hahaha.

And you spell "dirt" "durt."

Collect dares. Dares definitely help. Actually, I'm about to go dare-hunting right now... (It's dare-hunting season! ...er, sorry.) Of course, sometimes you'll be so sleep-deprived you'll come up with a "fabulous" idea on your own. Like my idea to have a running joke about eggplants. Oh, Lord.

Trust me. It's hilarious and fun and thrilling and exhausting and you'll love it.

...gotta finish my outline. Why'd you have to remind me?
