It's really about letting go and proving to yourself that inner editors are meant for the EDITTING process, not the writing process.

For the editing, might I suggest insitgating your own NaNoEdMo? They used to do one in March, but it closed down for lack of funding. I did that before I did NaNoWriMo and it was incredibly helpful. The challange was 50 hours of editing in one month.

Oy... NaNo gets here so slowly, and yet I know once it is here I will be cursing it entirely! hahah.

I think I'm going to do NaNoWriMo this year just to see what it's like. Then I'll spend all of December editing it.

Wow, everyone else seems to be researching and preparing story outlines. I thought I'd just start my story and go with the flow. You know, add in coherence after I finish. I'm terrible with outlines anyway.

Me! I want too! I already have my outline but...yeah I've never done this. I'm hoping for something around 100k though! My last novel was only 70k and that took me two years...but this subject is a LOT more interesting. Hopefully I'll make it.
