This is going to be compeltely off the real subject of the book:
A girl recieves a note from an unknown person who starts to stalk them and they are sent more and more notes and presents. I don't think I would pick this book up off the shelf, but that's because it sounds romantic. But with a good blurb and something to show me it wasn't romantic, then yeah, I'd read it!

Don't worry, it's not romantic.

Anyway, I
d say it's a fantasy. This Ellima chick (I assume it's a girl) must for some reason go find this Cerulean Chrystal. It's a long voyage, maybe set around the eighteenth century. Or perhaps she already has the crystal and for some reason must find a way to destroy it. I'd probably read it.

Sounds like one of those "oh no, the humans are no longer the top of the food chain" penny sci-fi novels.

Sounds like fantasy to me, and I'm not so clued up on those. Uhm, I'm getting some sort of bookishness from it, like it will be intellectual, maybe like a Kate Mosse novel. I don't know. It sounds interesting, though.

First thing I thought of an old woman, maybe someone who's telling her life story to a grandkid? Seems like some of the womans children died...

That makes me think of "House of Leaves," and a short story I read in a book once about these streets that seem to appear and disappear, and actually do things like mate and fight. Crazy stuff. I imagine it's something more like a class thing, or maybe even something in a school, but I just can't help but picture these malicious buildings wreaking havoc on the lives of those inside.

Let's see, how about

It sounds like an eternal quest for somebody. Haha. Is it fantasy or sci-fi or adventure?

I think it's those kinds of titles that needs a really, really good cover, otherwise it just sounds a bit bland and generic. But I like it.

Here's the title of my new project:

Uh, sounds a little depressing, so I'm going to guess it's sad. Brings to mind a young MC that has had something bad happen to them. I might read it, if the blurb and cover art were good.

It sounds like the main character finds a new religion (or God) or they move somewhere new to escape their terrible past.

It seems a little long. And it creates sort of strange image. Unique, though. :P

Some kind of crime novel? Suspense isn't my favorite genre.

Something like a horror story about a dyslexic frat boy/sorority girl.
