2025 NAPO BADGES

If you meet the requirements for a badge, make a post below with a link to your NaPo thread (or comments/WFP links) and the badge you're claiming. Please try to get these posted by May 6, so we can count them.

Writing Poems

Most of the badges are not stackable, meaning you can typically only get one. The only exception is Poem a Day and Full Harvest. For example: if you write 15 poems this April, you get the Fresh Bounty badge. You don't get both the Plowing the Fields and Fresh Bounty badges.

Plowing the Fields If you complete and log 5 poems during the month of April, you'll get this badge for your hard work and effort!

Fresh Bounty The crops are coming in nicely! If you write at least 15 poems this April, you'll get this NaPo badge!

Full Harvest If you complete and post 30 poems in your NaPo thread, you earn the Full Harvest badge! You reap what you sow!

Poem-A-Day Champion If you accept this challenge, you must write at least 1 poem every day of April to complete it. Time zones can be hard though! If you miss a day or two, there is a period of leniency. If you are unsure, contact a poetry moderator for any questions or concerns.

When claiming your badges, please leave a link to your NaPo thread and make sure that your poems are numbered within your thread. Your poems can be posted at any time (unless you are doing Poem a Day), but you must submit a link here to be counted and awarded badges.

Community

YWS is made up of such a wonderful community, so it's only natural that we help each other out when it comes to NaPo. These badges are about just that! If you support your fellow poets and join in on the fun, you can get some pretty neat badges! I mean, who doesn't want an awesome badge to show off?

Full Barnyard To claim this badge, you have to leave 20 unique comments in NaPo threads other than your own. Since everyone needs a little encouragement, your comments must be left in at least 5 different threads.

Barnyard Jamboree Since NaPo is such a community effort, this badge is all about that! To collect this badge, please log at least 5 different poetry jams. This includes both hosting and attending. However, if you do host one, make sure to post the link on the Poetry Jam Club's wall!

To claim these badges, leave links to your NaPo thread comments or WriterFeed Pads. Please make sure to number them accordingly.

Contests

PCrewPick Recipient All of our beloved poetry crew is going to be highlighting poetry using the #PCrewPick hashtag. This badge is awarded to anyone who receives a shoutout!

ThePeoplesPick Recipient This badge is similar to PCrewPick one, but the only difference is that it's from the community. If someone gives one of your poems a shoutout using the #ThePeoplesPick hashtag, you can claim this badge! There is no limit to how many poems you can shoutout. Go crazy with it!

April Madness Finalist April Madness is a very traditional part of our NaPo celebration! To receive this very limited edition badge, you would have to make it to the last round of April Madness. Check out the April Madness thread to learn more information, or ask a poetry moderator.

There are no steps to claim these badges. For example: if you are an April Madness finalist, you don't need to post it below. We will find out somehow.

---

If you don't keep a record of what you have completed, it isn't guaranteed you will receive your badges. It is easier to keep track of when it is posted here. All poetry written and community efforts completed must happen during April to be counted. Good luck!

You know, ଳjellyfishଳ can't swim or shine on their own, but once they absorb light from around them, they're able to shine for themselves! So maybe...I can, too! If I'm around you, maybe I'll be able to shine, too? -

Made it halfway, but unfortunately don't think I left enough comments for a full barnyard.
