Granted, but your English teacher assigns you a fifty-page research paper, due the day after Nationals quals., which are tomorrow. The paper counts for seventy-five percent of your grade this semester.

I wish I had better time-management skills

Granted, you have the skills but fail to use them.


I wish I didn't have to write a paper tonight.

Granted-but everyone else DOES write the paper, and you fail the course. Eep!

I wish I DIDN'T have to write a paper tonight, either. Or, geometry.
